So will he get his deposit back or not?

[–]BobZebart 466 points467 points  (39 children)

No one ever gets their deposit back regardless.

[–]MaliciousM 127 points128 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm way to lazy to take the cans back

[–]Macinman719 78 points79 points  (7 children)

In my state if a landlord keeps your deposit without giving you a detailed write up on why it was necessary you can take them to court for up to 3 times your original deposit. So you may not get your deposit back, but you could end up a lot better off lol.

[–]Acoconutting 25 points26 points  (0 children)

In Cali you have to do it within 14 days or something too, or you automatically are liable to pay in full + double or triple or something. It's very protective of renters. But lots of people don't know their rights.

[–]ignezio 54 points55 points  (15 children)

You must have shitty land Lords I've given back deposits from eviction as long as they take all their shit so I don't have to clean it. What's 350 when you have to clean a entire house out.

[–]Diu_Lei_Lo_Mo 19 points20 points  (13 children)

What's 350 when you have to clean a entire house out.

350? Isn't security deposits equal to 1 month's rent??

[–]poochyenarulez 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My rent was $650, but I only had a $200 security deposit. I got it back when I moved out.

[–]Flupox 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends where you live, and what the landlord wants to set. I’ve had 1 month and I’ve had just a set $500.

[–]Evenger14 10 points11 points  (5 children)

Rent for me is $450. Granted the house is 100 fucking years old in a dead ass small town but eh.

[–]idiotscount 1743 points1744 points  (73 children)

Can just imagine the smell

[–]DonkeyWindBreaker 637 points638 points  (12 children)

Hot stale beer. Mmmm

[–]eon0 205 points206 points  (9 children)

Hot stale Natty Ice.

[–]PorschephileGT3 97 points98 points  (7 children)

I bet it smells like a hot crockpot of earwax in there.

[–]JuanPabloElSegundo 42 points43 points  (2 children)

I wish there was an emoji for that blergh sound I'm making

[–]tragicallywhite 23 points24 points  (3 children)

Dibs on the band name "Hot Crockpot of Earwax".

[–]Teeks6 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You mean bourbon street?

[–]maurinkina 85 points86 points  (29 children)

Can you imagine the bathroom

[–]CoMa_1984 68 points69 points  (17 children)

Its pristine I bet.

[–]BarryMacochner 64 points65 points  (5 children)

Chicks dig a dude with a clean bathroom, make sure you wipe down the bottom of the toilet around back too.

[–]every_other_monday 58 points59 points  (4 children)

Better yet, be the kind of person that never lets a thick paste of pubes, piss and bathroom grime collect around your toilet in the first place.

[–]BarryMacochner 27 points28 points  (0 children)

But I even dust mine before the gf comes over.

[–]upsidedownbackwards 43 points44 points  (9 children)

When I had my drinking problem my bathroom was always clean. There's nothing worse than throwing up in a dirty bathroom. The rest of my place was trashed though.

[–]CoMa_1984 11 points12 points  (2 children)

I always felt better barfing in dirty bathrooms for some weird reason.

[–]h3nchman27 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Easier to throw up in a dirty bathroom too smh

[–]Fuck_The_Stigma 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I'm now picturing you like "whelp. Gonna get shitfaced tonight. Better clean the bathroom, where's the scrubbing bubbles at."

[–]Gene_is_green 26 points27 points  (8 children)

[–]TimeZarg 16 points17 points  (3 children)

Yeah, they're gonna have to completely re-do the interior at this point. Trash removal (at least they'll net a few hundred or more on the can deposits), rip carpet/flooring out, thoroughly scrub and sanitize the walls and every surface you can think of, fumigate the place because there's probably nasty varmints infesting it, and then new carpet/flooring, re-paint the walls and ceiling, etc. Not even covering any electrical or plumbing issues that might've cropped up from neglect.

[–]upsidedownbackwards 109 points110 points  (9 children)

I went through something like this when I was living alone in an apartment. I had this weird... thing about throwing out boxes, so I'd horde them. I was also drinking around a 30 pack of beer a day so the empties would pile up too much before I threw them out. I finally moved out because living alone wasn't good for me. The landlord said it took 3 days with all the doors and windows open before the smell started to fade. In the middle of all this there was a period where my drain was so clogged that it would take 30 minutes for a 3 minute shower to drain, and sometimes the sewage from other units would come into mine so I kinda stopped bathing. Depression is a bitch.

[–]fatpat 37 points38 points  (2 children)

I was also drinking around a 30 pack of beer a day

Dang. Got me beat. I was up to about 18 a day before I got sober. April 28th will be two years.

[–]chillpill5000mg 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Damn sorry to here all that, hope youre doing better

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (3 children)

Serious question UDB. How are you doing these days?

[–]upsidedownbackwards 32 points33 points  (2 children)

Better. The reality has set in that I'll never be "good" again but I can aim to be alright most of the time.

[–]KorbanDidIt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hey, just so you know, if you're doing alright then that's awesome! I'm proud of you!

[–]drunky_crowette 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My mom bought me a can crusher. Down to ~18 a day and I like crushing cans while listening to punk music or Disney songs

[–]CosmicToaster 14 points15 points  (8 children)

Forget this, you should see the lady that poops in a bucket. Everything in the house was covered in poop.

Edit: Poop Lady Video

[–]Mozu 23 points24 points  (1 child)

I've never had a more easy decision not clicking a link.

[–]jaguar_sharks 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You haven’t thought of the smell, you bitch

[–]ramshockey 3206 points3207 points  (181 children)

I wonder how much money that is in recycling...

[–]SubZero80 1613 points1614 points  (14 children)

$1.25 million it looks like.

[–]teamguy89 302 points303 points  (5 children)

Yeah maybe GTA online money

[–]Barteringram 152 points153 points  (2 children)

So, 10,000?

[–]teamguy89 34 points35 points  (1 child)

[–]jaxonya 21 points22 points  (0 children)

[–]joe4553 33 points34 points  (1 child)

Well the owner should still have the safety deposit and about 30 bucks in cans.

[–]please_hava_seat 22 points23 points  (2 children)

Vietnam dong

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

hehe dong

[–]spicybuttholenachos 51 points52 points  (4 children)

I know its not but if thats michigan that guy just hit the lotto.

[–]CaffeinatedGuy 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Oregon too, as of this year. Nearly any container is 10¢ now. That house has thousands of dollars of deposit recycling.

Any container, less than 2 liters, whose contents are meant to be drank, with a metal, plastic, or glass container, except milk, hard alcohol, and wine. This hilariously includes marijuana beverages being specifically mentioned on the official flyer.

Edit: looks like this is locked now?

Here a baseline to compare to: 70,000 cans. I'm likely way off on my estimate, but there's still thousands of cans there. What do other rooms look like? What's out of frame?

[–]ARealBillsFan 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I dunno maybe if you had free access to maybe I dunno, something like a mail truck perhaps. You may have something.

[–]zuckerkotze 217 points218 points  (115 children)

is there some kind of can deposit for money in the US too? in germany, if you bring cans back to a store, you get 25ct p.can, so that would at least get them a few bucks back.

[–]DaveyCrickets 247 points248 points  (102 children)

Ya you get 5 or 10 cents each depending on which state you're in. Some states don't encourage recycling and thus won't give you the metal deposit back.

[–]Mitz510 181 points182 points  (89 children)

Wait, what backwards ass state wouldn't encourage recycling?

[–]Jc100047 179 points180 points  (23 children)

He probably meant direct recycling to get money. They'd rather have you recycle to the city waste disposal instead of a private recycler.

Only a theory but it makes sense to me.

[–]ky420 34 points35 points  (20 children)

No one recycles in ky and lots of us still burn trash. Guess our state doesnt do much to encourage it

[–]sessuna 46 points47 points  (13 children)

You BURN your garbage? That's insane to me, we would be hit with fines out the wazzoo if we did that!

[–]Guinness 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Now you know why everyone else thinks Kentucky is a bunch of hicks.

[–]pdsgdfhjdsh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's pretty common in rural areas in the US.

[–]Pupp3rs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my home state the thought of burning garbage is absolutely foreign to them, unheard of. My grandparents lived in an extremely remote part of Ky and we made the trip and visited for weeks at a time every single summer. There were hardly any neighbors but everyone there burnt their trash. It was the norm. Some places are simply so isolated that a garbage truck route isn’t feasible.

[–]SmilinBob82 48 points49 points  (34 children)

I know FL doesn't

Edit: i was referring specifically to not having a deposit on cans and bottles.

In some cities in FL it is illegal to put recyclables into normal trash (residentially at least). Though my apartment complex got rid of all their recycle bins since all the labels were faded off and nobody separated their recyclables.

[–]Mrdirtyvegas 53 points54 points  (16 children)

You can take these to a scrap yard and get $$ for it. We saved up cans and other scrap metal for a year and got like $400. Granted it was between 25 people or so.

[–]ATHIESTAVENGER 90 points91 points  (3 children)

I think this guy drank enough for 25 people though.

[–]BarryMacochner 9 points10 points  (2 children)

I'd say that's about a years worth for me.

[–]m4n715 4 points5 points  (1 child)

You know that's not good for you, right? Maybe talk to someone about it? There's better ways to live my dude.

[–]WasabiBobbi76 14 points15 points  (8 children)

Just eyeballing but in Florida you'd probably get <$100 out of that. There's a suprisingly small amount of material in the cans. I send a 48"x48"x48" gaylord of pretty dense aluminum parts every week and we average $96 on it.

[–]oldoaktable 18 points19 points  (7 children)

I gotta ask man, what's a gaylord?

[–]WasabiBobbi76 30 points31 points  (4 children)

I'm glad you did! As a logistics nerd this is exciting for me. A gaylord is the slang term for the bulk box originally developed by the Gaylord Container Corporation. It is a 4'x4'(or 40")x4' triple-wall cardboard box made with very high strength board. It fits on standard pallets for easy handling, it won't crush from tight banding, it can go on all transport modes, and compared to an actual wood crate they are dirt cheap.

[–]moon_ferret 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Today I learned... Yay new fact for me to use randomly!

[–]xblade45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We used these at a scrap yard I worked to ship parts for remanufacturing.

[–]zebrastrip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In simple terms, you know those giant cardboard boxes at the grocery store that they fill with pumpkins or watermelons? It’s those boxes

[–]Pole-Cratt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well yeah they give you a whole separate can for recycling that gets picked up weekly. I put mine out every week same as the trash.

[–]elledekker 29 points30 points  (13 children)

Of course not. No surprise there.

[–]ForeignAlphabet 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Many states dont, but in those states there is always a private party willing to buy aliminum, usually by the pound

[–]AnalyzePhish 32 points33 points  (3 children)

This is phrased so wrong - plenty of states encourage recycling but don't have you return cans for money.

Also when you return cans for money its s deposit you pay up front when you purchase the cans. The states that don't pay per can never ask for the money up front.

I've lived in Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota. Illinois and Minnesota had free recycling at curbside. It was much easier and cleaner than hauling cans to the grocery store to return them lol!

[–]ShouldHveBeenAborted 6 points7 points  (2 children)

States with deposits also have curb side recycling.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We don’t pay the deposit in the first place, i don’t think

[–]LTJFan 59 points60 points  (9 children)

My dad decided that he was going to collect cans and use the money to pay for my college. He spent years picking up cans and bringing them home and bagging them. Had about half of his garage full of cans and loaded them up and brought them down to the recycling center. He got like $125. I’m pretty sure he has never picked up another can.

[–]mk2vrdrvr 17 points18 points  (6 children)

What state was this in? One 13 gallon bag of cans nets about 12$ here in Oregon.

[–]royalic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It just went up to $.10/can this year in OR.

[–]Myotherdumbname 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Is Oregon one of the states where you pay the $.10 deposit?

[–]BigPaul1e 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I worked in a bowling alley in high school, and the manager would have us save all the beer cans - we'd get 2 or 3 industrial trash bags full on weeknights, 6 or 7 on weekends. He owned an apartment building, and would take the bags and throw 'em in the basement. In the summers when I'd get laid off, he would hire me for a few weeks to crush cans - he built a machine with a ramp that you'd feed the cans into, the machine would smash them flat and they'd drop out the bottom. Three weeks in a dark, unfinished basement crushing & rebagging cans, arms covered in year-old stale beer. When I was done we'd load them all in his truck (a commercial delivery van, I think it was previously a UPS truck) and he would take them to the scrap yard.

At some point the price of aluminum dropped so much he was only getting like six or seven hundred dollars for an entire UPS truck filled with flattened cans. He was paying me $125/week. He decided it wasn't worth the trouble and quit saving them after that.

[–]FlatDerrick 13 points14 points  (6 children)

Yeah if this was in Germany you could probably get it cleaned for free (25c on each beer can)

[–]MindYerOwnBusiness 42 points43 points  (1 child)

About tree fiddy

[–]airlineguy2013 28 points29 points  (0 children)

“That ain’t no recycling. That’s the god damn Loch Ness monster!”

[–]ninja_vs_pirate 867 points868 points  (42 children)

How's that guy still alive?

[–][deleted]  (11 children)

    It gots electrolytes

Popped over there and must say that is one sad sub.

      [–]Sara_Shenanigans 19 points20 points  (2 children)

I found out my ex dumped me by reading a post he made in that sub. It's a sad, weird place.

      [–]Lineman_Matt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did he just ghost you, but you read about it on the sub or.....?

      [–]FarTooLong2 18 points19 points  (2 children)

I think he's underneath that large mound of cans beside the arm chair and has fused with the carpet

      [–]ThegreatPee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bet that you could clean a grill with his liver.

      [–]Pinhead___Larry 795 points796 points  (8 children)

      Salmon colored wallpaper? Fucking disgusting.

      [–]Nicolo21 184 points185 points  (1 child)

      No wonder he left!

      [–]Pinhead___Larry 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I know! The landlord is lucky he isn’t suing

      [–]Falfinator 401 points402 points  (14 children)

That is some serious brand loyalty right there

      [–]BacterialBeaver 145 points146 points  (8 children)

He was getting the most for his $. It’s dirt cheap and has a higher alcohol content.

      [–]mrsbebe 60 points61 points  (4 children)

Nah. Probably just the only thing he can afford to buy that much of

      [–]FooHentai 24 points25 points  (2 children)

Truth. I use to live with a guy that took his drinking hobby very seriously. He earned plenty yet still had to buy boxed white wine AND take it out of the cardboard to pack it into the fridge.

      [–]mrsbebe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s ridiculous. I remember the first time my husband went into a liquor store, he came back to the car and was like wow I can see how some people can be alcoholics, it can be so cheap. And yet, that adds up quickly especially if you’re at this level of consumption

      [–]DoodlingDaughter 361 points362 points  (5 children)

      Jesus God.

On the plus side, no one could sneak up on him!

      [–]Thatsnowconeguy 136 points137 points  (3 children)

"Hey, Bill, what the hell is up with the empty beer cans all over the place?"

      "It's a defense mechanism."

      "Jesus Christ, Bill..."

Holy shit! College house? Must have had a party every day.

      [–]tsubasaxiii 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I had a buddy who had parties every night and while he did clean up at first at the height of his problem he still didn't have it this bad.

      [–]Sloth_Brotherhood 54 points55 points  (0 children)

      It was probably a joke.

          [–]ozpariser 5 points6 points  (1 child)

You’re not talking that Michigan bottle deposit scam again are you?

          [–]foreignhoe 247 points248 points  (6 children)

Get the recycling money, and can get a little bit of beer out each can, atleast a couple hundred free beers it looks like.

          [–]agnesleclair 162 points163 points  (1 child)

I was with you until the second half. Ugh.

I hope he can at least pay some of the hazmat fee with the return on those cans.

          [–]foreignhoe 24 points25 points  (0 children)

          Minimal labor, free beer.

          [–][deleted]  (2 children)

            [–]austex_mike 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Can someone tell me what that is? I assume it is a beer or something? Is it particularly cheap or something?

            [–]thereisasuperee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yup. Cheap crappy beer. Big in college.

            [–]codycakez 319 points320 points  (5 children)

U could prob get at least tree fiddy for all those cans

            [–]mkam313 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Don't get me started about no damn tree fiddy.

            [–]millee8081 44 points45 points  (1 child)

so this is who buys Nattie Ice

            not surprised

            [–]BacterialBeaver 62 points63 points  (6 children)

It’s cheap and has a higher alcohol content. College kids and alcoholics love the shit.

            [–]Do_doop 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Can confirm, the only thing better is the liquor store next door that sells $7 bottles of vodka

            [–]gmmobb 26 points27 points  (0 children)

it also has the lowest calories for beer per serving

            [–]Shadowhunterx59 64 points65 points  (13 children)

            Somebody needs AA

            [–]AnalyzePhish 70 points71 points  (1 child)

            [–]peterpayne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

            'cause you're a fantaholic...

            [–]TheAtomikDoctor 68 points69 points  (16 children)

Somw people are weird, and also fucking disgusting. I can't imagine someone that doesn't have a mental health issue doing this

            [–]BrokenArmsFrigidMom 81 points82 points  (8 children)

I think mental health issues are a safe assumption here. Terrible depression at the very least.

            [–]ChaoticGoodCop 10 points11 points  (2 children)

I can see the me of last year succumbing to this. No will to live in any real sense coupled with the fear of death. Triple distilled apathy for me.

            [–]BrokenArmsFrigidMom 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I hope you're feeling better now.

            [–]ChaoticGoodCop 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My life is great right now. It's like night and day. Thanks. =]

            [–]trash_organism 18 points19 points  (1 child)

It wasn't this bad and there weren't any beer cans, but I let my place get pretty terrible recently. I'm still cleaning up from it. Literally just got rid of my Christmas tree, leftovers from Thanksgiving are still in my fridge bad.

Got incredibly burnt out working insanely long hours for a few months straight. The energy just wasn't there. I can't say I was depressed because I never went to a professional, but I was definitely not in a good spot mentally.

Fast food was available late at night and easy. Soda was an easy energy boost. I'd pick some up on the way home, eat it, then pass out - refuse still on the floor by my couch. Repeat for a couple months.

The one or two people closest to me knew I was struggling, but to just about every one else I'm pretty sure I looked like any normal person.

            [–]emilita29 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Or a brain tumor. Friend of mine had one and caused him to hoard trash.

            [–]all-base-r-us 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Run of the mill alcoholism and depression can cause this. One little bad decision at a time.

            [–]BenDover04me 31 points32 points  (1 child)

            Bedbugs and Lice

            [–]puppetpauperpirate 33 points34 points  (5 children)

I wonder if he likes beer.

No one's going to see this at this point but whatever. My brother's body was found in similar conditions. We all knew he drank, but he showed up at Christmas and called us all on our birthdays like everything was normal.

Please don't be so quick to judge stuff like this. This is someone whose life is out of control and desperately needs help.

If you find yourself on this path, it's not your fault. You're doing the best you can but your mind isn't on your side.

There's help out there. But you have to be brave enough to take it. 1-800-273-8255

Be safe. You are stronger than you know.

            lmao I love this sub

            [–]marksmurs 315 points316 points  (32 children)

            Omg is that a r/neckbeardnest

            [–]ohmyfsm 324 points325 points  (22 children)

            More like a /r/cripplingalcoholism nest.

            [–]znhunter 82 points83 points  (16 children)

Dear God. That sub is just people talking about drinking a lot. Either it's a real good, real dark joke. Or it's very sad.

            [–]AnalyzePhish 82 points83 points  (4 children)

As an alcoholic that place was really necessary for me for a period of time. It's important to have people to talk with who understand what you're going through. Isolation is a huge problem for alcoholics.

Also the info there was truly helpful. I have no certainty but I imagine I'd be much worse off if I didn't learn about vitamins and supplements, tapering, how detox works, how to stay sober, etc.

Believe it or not a lot of people there want sobriety for others. Plenty have been through the ringer and it can be a valuable resource.

            [–]dungeonpost 23 points24 points  (1 child)

I haven’t been in that sub, but seeing this video I thought while it was pretty bad, it wasn’t too far off from what my bedroom looked like when I was at my worst. I am glad those days are behind me, but this is a vivid reminder of why I value my sobriety.

            [–]SixGun_Surge 46 points47 points  (0 children)

            It's real.

            [–]kurisu7885 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well the post said the tenant only took their sex doll and their TV, since I don't see any anime girl posters or a PC brimming with LEDs this is just someone who didn't give a fuck.

            [–]tiffanaih 16 points17 points  (2 children)

            Awh, what happened to neckbeardnest?!

            [–]gmsdancergirl 24 points25 points  (1 child)

It's plural. r/neckbeardnests is what you're looking for.

            [–]eedabaggadix 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much exactly what I would expect the house of someone who drinks Natural Ice to look like.

            [–]Horsetoothbrush 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You know he accidentally drank from the wrong can at least once.

            [–]sputtering 64 points65 points  (10 children)

As the owner of a rental property, fuck this fucking asshole.

            [–]TRNielson 29 points30 points  (3 children)

As someone who has considered renting out my property, shit like this is why I’d rather sell than rent out.

            [–]notabigmelvillecrowd 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Most often the people I see who end up with renters like this are the ones who don't bother to thoroughly vet tenants and/or who keep low priced slummy properties that no one would live in unless they were desperate. Obviously it can happen to anyone, but putting in a bit of effort can really reduce your chances.

My mum's husband is a scummy landlord who's always scheming ways to rake in a few extra bucks, and he just decided to rent out their garage. I asked if they were renting it as a workspace, and she said, no as an apartment. I feel like it's only a matter of time before they're looking at a scene much like this.

            [–]Dr_Siouxs 50 points51 points  (3 children)

Clearly a sneaky add for Natty Ice. Nice try r/hailcorporate

Edit: I was never the best at spelling....

            [–]Harrysnimbus 38 points39 points  (3 children)

Is it wrong of me to think...you didn’t need to say “male”?

            [–]kenmaclean 9 points10 points  (0 children)

as in "I would have assumed male seeing the gif" or "The word adds no useful information"

            [–]I_Am_From_China__ 6 points7 points  (6 children)

Anyone know what legal action the poor old man could do?

            [–]GALACTICA-Actual 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's not wort it. As a landlord you just write it off. You'll spend four times the amount in court trying to win, (and that's not counting your time outside of what your lawyer does). And even if you get a judgement, you'll never get a dime.

We had one once that had let some rent boys move in, and he just left everything and went to Canada. We had a fuck of a time getting them out, then putting it back in shape. I lived in the complex, very small, and these guys were literally just dead end street hustlers.

The owner still sends the guy a Christmas card every year, and he gets a letter from the guy every once in a while.

He may cut him some slack, but I'd like to throw him off a fucking building. He abandoned his wonderful cat, and it fell to me to take him to the city shelter as a 'left behind'.

            Fuck that guy.

            [–]arbivark 7 points8 points  (1 child)

            cash in the cans

            keep the rent deposit.

sue in small claims for damages. easy win but rarely collect. maybe sell the judgment at a steep discount to a collection agency.

charge other tenants enough to make up for it.

find a guy like me to come do a cleanout. find another guy to inspect, repaint, repair. screen next tenant better.

i've been a landlord, but i'm also a depressed hoarder, so i get both sides of this.

            [–]MNdreamin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thats like 40 bucks worth of Natty Ice.

            [–]Alaskaman89 88 points89 points  (28 children)

Thats gross how do people live like this like clean up once in a while it’s not that hard

            [–]AnAndroidDisagrees 72 points73 points  (12 children)

Sometimes this happens because people don't want to see them put that many empties out on the curb all at once.

            [–]CTroy2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My house isnt this messy but I just got over a crippling bout of insomnia that turned me into a glorified low functioning zombie so house cleaning wasnt really in thr forefront of my mind. You see the mess, acknowledged its continued existence, and try to minimize the fallout from the illness.

The damage deposit is there in cans. Call it a win

              [–]BottomFeedersDelight 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This place, and this beer were made for each other.

              [–]SomeAsshole666 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I’m more interested in the tenants job

              Alcoholism is a scary thing.

              [–]Wanderlust_520 25 points26 points  (1 child)

Probably didn’t need the “Male”’in the title

              [–]UlcerativePoison 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm going to go on a limb here and say I think he drinks a lot of beer

              [–]Raff001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Cans are worth 10 cents each in my state.

              [–]Elementium 5 points6 points  (1 child)

That's really sad.. I kinda hope the dude gets help.

              [–]uhhuhwut 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of my dad's place every time I would visit him. It became too taxing for me to keep trying to clean up after him (literally and figuratively), so we're no longer in contact. Natty Ice is his beer of choice, too.

              [–]devil_lettuce 24 points25 points  (4 children)

Ah, thanks for clarifying it was a male!

              [–]Tropicopolis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

              Someone really enjoyed Natural Ice.

              [–]strangerthaaang 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a lot of dimes if they live in Michigan.

              [–]beachbetch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please tell me no pets had to live in this....

              [–]mroby6500 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Well at least it's better than a bunch of used syringes

              [–]Danclim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

              Aaah the smell.....🤢

              [–]rustyprisonshank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dude could've paid his rent with the recycling money...
