Neat. Good job Alabama.
I have hired more people this year than I ever have for the last 30 years. But one went back to school so you should see the normal decline of fall in the number 2 months or so from now.
Did you misread the headline and think it said unemployment?
imagine rooting against the success of your own people out of hate. I really don't care who's responsible to make me glad employment is up.
Bingo. He cannot fathom something positive happening because of preconceived eventualities.
I agree, this does not seem possible.
The employment rate hasn't recovered to its level before the First Second Bush recession.
Isn't record low unemployment a good sign of a coming recession?
Not necessarily, depends on how you look at it. It just means that we are, Alabama and the nation as a whole, is at the peak of the business cycle right now. We've been basically working up to the peak since about 2011. Things could stay at or near peak for a time, say a year or so, and then take a slight dip, or things could gradually start slowing down. GDP growth is doing good, even if it slows down to at or slightly below the 5 year average it doesn't mean things are about to get bad.
Probably the best indicator that a recession is coming(could still be a year or 2 away, and a minor one), is that every decade since the 20s has had some sort of recession, and we are getting near that point.
