Withdrawal SEPA bitstamp EU still " in process" ....

Hello Bitstamp-Domen and Bitstamp-Lucas,

Can you solve my problem, I have made a SEPA EU withdrawal request in my account and since July 13th no movement is happening. I created my bitstamp account two years ago and I have already made withdrawal requests that have been processed immediately but now my problem very important, either the support can process my withdrawal request or I will ask for cancel these requests to dispose of my funds.

There are two withdrawal requests, number: 4933112 and 4935227 which are outstanding.

I opened a TICKET ticket # BIT-15062 and got an answer telling me that it was going to be processed but nothing. I then opened a ticket TICKET # BIT-15506 to ask if it is possible to cancel the requests because the delay is too long compared to usual, and no answer.

I have been a customer for 2 years and everything is going well every time, except this time I do not understand why there is this delay.

Please resolve this problem

International withdrawal success

I received a manual international fiat withdrawal on the 3rd business day and am very happy with Bitstamp and their service over the last couple of years.

Please implement maker taker fees.

I've used Bitstamp for 5 years now and I can't describe the service as anything other than flawless. The only support ticket I've ever sent in 5 years was due to my own error. I applaud the behind the scenes excellence that made this a reality. It's certainly not something that just happens.

Despite this, I think Bitstamp really should be trying harder to remain competitive in terms of its fee structure. The tiered fees are pretty reasonable, but a maker taker structure just seems highly inappropriate innteg current market. Bitstamp should be one of the top exchanges by volume and it isn't. Despite a flawless record, one of the earliest multi-sig and segwit wallets, it remains a pretty small exchange by volume and liquidity. In my humble opinion I think maker taker fees would bring in more net fees in the long run as more traders flocked to the platform. It would especially help IMO with newer coins like BCH, which suffer extremely low liquidity. Please consider it. That or maybe some lifetime fee discounts for customers who have traded over 50/100/200 million over the lifetimes of their accounts.

3 months - no reply from Bitstamp support

I originally created a support ticket 5 months ago and after Bitstamp support finally reached out to me 3 months ago, I have heard nothing since. Any time I try to reach out I am told to refer back to my support ticket but I have not gotten a reply in 3 months. I am starting to worry that my funds are gone. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Support ticket #407494

Passed KYC, mentioned the amount I was going to withdraw and it still got held

I'm beginning to be scared, back in May I passed the KYC by uploading my documents and proof of funds (and AML)

I mentioned the amount I am going to withdraw, and actually had few successful transfers.

now I tried to withdraw the rest and suddenly I'm getting a ticket saying that Bitstamp wants more details about my withdrawal.

I would just like to point out that I don't think its really okay to tell me I have passed the KYC/AML I told the staff the amount of money I plan to move and had all the paperwork for it and now when I'm half way through I'm being asked for more info and having my transactions delayed.. if you host a kyc/aml, you should pass the client only when you're sure he supplied all the evidences he should have and ask for more information only if something had changed, not for no reason.. just my 2 cents but I do appreciate the way you handle support other than that and the transactions did go through fast so far Thanks..

Withdrawal bitstamp success!

I've only been in the crypto currency world since November 2017 and was fortunate to get in and out at the right time. Anyhow, I had some money sitting in bitstamp since January 2018.

I tried about 6 times to withdraw funds via international wire transfer without success. I though I would never get my money out. I though bitstamp was scamming me but they weren't. The issue was I live in the United states which the rules are different. Bitstamp has rules they have to follow so they are in compliance. I didnt understand that.

Today I thought why dont I open up an account with Coinbase and send my money via bitcoin wallet. So I was able to send my money via wallet and it arrived at Coinbase in 30 minutes and was available to trade within 1 hour.

I was excited. My next question was how to cash out. I did some research and found USAA is a cryptocurrency friendly bank. I opened an account online. I sold my bitcoin and then transferred the money to my USAa account. It arrived in my account today.

I did all this on the same day...today! I am excited and glad. So if you are having trouble getting your money and live in the US keep trying.

Question regarding interpretation of values and calculations of fees

So I'm writing a program which is designed to autonomously execute trades on Bitstamp. However I'm very confused on what "amount" refers to.

Suppose I am working in the market "BTC/USD" where BTC is the base currency and USD is the quote currency. If I make a trade order, then does the "amount" parameter refer to the amount of the base currency always? Regardless of what side I'm trading on (buying or selling)?

My next question is how do fees work. I understand there is a fee rate applied that is about 0.25%. If I create a trade order to buy 1 BTC for 7500 USD, then do I get 0.9975 BTC or do I spend 7518.75 USD? If I create a trade order to sell 1 BTC for 7500 USD, again what happens? (I just made these numbers up for sake of the example)

Thanks in advance!

If I only hold fiat and Bitstamp's crypto gets hacked will I lose funds?

I know that Bitfinex reduces everyone's account by the same % when some users funds got hacked. What will be the process on Bitstamp if this happens in regard to Fiat funds? Basically I have some open buy orders at around $5.5k and as low as $5k (thinking to set some at $4.5k). Will my funds be affected if these orders don't execute and some btc or other crypto gets stolen from Bitstamp?

Bitstamp terminated my account with funds for "no reason" and support doesnt answer

Hello. I send 4400 usd to my account in May and then my account was terminated. Why did this happen? I dont know, and when i asked support about it, they said that they cant tell me why. Maybe just for fun, we will never know. Information about your Bitstamp account and your funds on it cant be shared with you. Nice

Ok, so bitstamp terminated my account. Then please return me my funds, if I cant buy crypto on Bitstamp. I sent to support all my bank information on June 11, on the next day support said that funds are already sent and after 2 weeks I still havent recieved my money. Support doesnt answer to my messages.

What I have to do now?

Issue: BIT-958

UPD: support answered to message, waiting till Jule 3. Thanks for answer.

UPD 2: Recieved my money back, thanks. But still dont understand why customer accounts can be banned like that.

Anyone else having problems logging in?

I can't login to my account. Last time I logged in was months ago, but now my 2 factor auth code keeps getting rejected. I tried resetting my account password, but I'm trying to avoid resetting the 2 factor auth as well. I've never had a problem before. Is anyone else having issues? I sent a support email and DM'ed Bitstamp on twitter, but last time I did that I didn't get a response for months.

Ticket SUPPORT-14290 (waiting more than 6 months!)

Hi, I am waiting for my ticket for more than 6 months (from 12th December 2017), now I really lost my patience. Bitstamp does nothing with my ticket, always gives me the same reply or even no responds. I am using a lot of exchanges but this is the worst customer service.

Can you help me calculate my fees?

I sent 1000 USD from international wire from a Hong Kong bank account to Bitstamp. Surprisingly, it arrived in less than 12 HRS!! I'm quite happy about that, but when I checked my Bitstamp account, I only received 972.50 into my account.

It saw that the fee was 7.5 USD.

What happened to my 20 USD?

When I sent from my bank account, I selected not to deduct the remittance fee from the amount and to deduct my existing account balance. <-- I double checked and I can see the wire fee deducted from the existing account.

Any idea?

CAREFUL! Bitstamp asking for absurd extra docs - giving me run around playing with me and my money...

Just wanted to get some advise from more experienced users and perhaps the bistamp support here is better than their phone an email support, they are simply rude and have been playing with me from the beginning.

I called bitstamp last week under the advise of a friend/advisor, I wanted to invest a substantial amount of money in BTC and sit on it, but wanted to get verified first and find out what their limits were on buying BTC, no limits they said, ok, got verified, had to send my documents in a very specific way, got verified VERY QUICKLY!, got their bank info, went to my bank and as I promised from the beginning, wired my funds, it's a large amount of money...

My bank called THEIR bank to get an ok (maybe because it was a large amount), THEIR BANK GRILLED ME WITH QUESTION!, I was shocked!, a little nervous, but I took it as their bank being careful, got the wire out.

I own the account, I am the owner, as is CLEARLY STATED in the wire receipt, anyone with common sense would know that

Send them the wire receipt, two days later I get a support ticket requesting me to send full documentation about my living trust!, they want to see who all the beneficiaries are, called my lawyer, he went CRAZY, HE WANTED TO TALK TO THEM, he was advising me against doing this because he says "THIS IS NOT INFORMATION THAT CAN BE SHARED, NOT PUBLIC DOMAIN, DON'T SEND IT TO SOME OUTFIT IN SLOVENIA OR UK... why would they need this???", and he's right, called them trying to solve the issue, they simply treat me like I'm nothing "SEND TICKET, NO SIR, SEND TICKET" over and over again, very arrogantly "we don't talk to other people you have to wait, sir".

I have done everything they've asked, but this is too much, they want my family information, PRIVATE INFORMATION, that no one but me and my wife know about, I'm really afraid, I hold some important asset.

They have stopped replying to tickets, treat me like nothing and are holding a large amount of money of mine, help please, any advise!, I can't believe I have done EXACTLY as I told them from the get-go, and they simply out me through different hurdles, but my living trust info?, no way my lawyer say, unless they're up to something...

Help please, I am very nervous....
