Giants @ Cardinals

Probable Pitchers:

Giants: Andrew Suarez (7-11, 4.24 ERA)

  • One of Suarez’s top priorities in this game will be to mind his manners. He made a gesture conveying annoyance toward Bruce Bochy upon being removed from his most recent start on Monday at San Diego -- though he pitched a career-high 7 2/3 innings.

Cardinals: Miles Mikolas (16-4, 3.01 ERA)

  • Mikolas became the quickest Cardinal to 16 wins in four seasons and has helped the club to a 21-3 record when getting two or more runs of support. He has not faced the Giants since 2012.

First Pitch: 01:15 PM CT

Bought it before the game time got changed and my flight doesn't get in until 3:30 so I'm going to miss it. Nobody's bought it on StubHub yet so if anyone messages me before I get on this flight in 30 minutes I'll send it to them.

It's infield terrace 447 row 1 seat 5 so not a great seat but I mean it would be a free game.

There's a promo that goes on at Subway if the Cardinals score in the 6th inning. I can't remember much about it. How do I redeem this?

Giants @ Cardinals

Probable Pitchers:

Giants: Dereck Rodriguez (6-4, 2.30 ERA)

  • San Francisco’s top Rookie of the Year candidate has not relied on pitcher-friendly AT&T Park to build his reputation. He’s 2-1 with a 2.58 ERA in seven road appearances (six starts).

Cardinals: Adam Wainwright (2-3, 3.72 ERA)

  • Wainwright turned back the clock with six shutout innings in his most recent start, cementing a spot in the end-of-season rotation. This could be his final start at Busch Stadium before his contract expires.

First Pitch: 12:05 PM CT

Is there anyone who would be looking to sell or trade tonight’s hockey sweater giveaway? My wife went to the game in hopes of getting one and they ran out at her gate two people in front of her.

I have the salsa shirt giveaway from a couple of weeks ago that I could trade for it or would pay a reasonable price for it.

Giants @ Cardinals

Probable Pitchers:

Giants: Madison Bumgarner (6-6, 3.14 ERA)

  • The Giants’ ace hasn’t pitched at Busch Stadium since Game 1 of the 2014 National League Championship Series, when he blanked St. Louis on four hits through 7 2/3 innings.

Cardinals: John Gant (7-6, 3.53 ERA)

  • Gant’s run of seven straight starts with two runs or fewer allowed came to an end last weekend, when he surrendered six over 4 1/3 innings. Back in July, Gant took a tough-luck no-decision in San Francisco after allowing two runs over six innings.

First Pitch: 07:15 PM CT

I’m getting all of their alerts and game changes I originally signed up for, but for some reason it keeps crashing when I try and start up the app.

I'm not even clear if he is in the starting rotation or bullpen.

As shaky as pen has looked, it would be nice to see Poncedeleon used more in that role...

Any suggestions about where to sit? How much beer to expect thrown at me? If any other Cards fans are headed that way, let me know and maybe we can meet up before the game for a pint or find seats in the same general area.

Can we talk about the fact that Matt Adams has started 12 of 24 games since coming over from the Nationals while hitting .160/.208/.340 with 15 ks to 3 walks? He also seems to be one of our preferred pinch hitters coming up in big spots. He is 1-10 with a single as a pinch hitter.

There is no one on this team who I trust less at the plate right now. Hell I'd rather see GG out there and that is saying a lot.

After Jack's implosion today, does that strengthen the case for Mikolas to start the WC game?
