I really loved the moment that led up to their kiss during their Seven Minutes in Heaven scene. I loved the way Vicki & Bill connected on a personal level, for a moment she didn’t see Bill as a geek & Bill didn’t see her as a pretty cheerleader. They saw each other as equal human beings, no labels attached to each other.

A few nights ago I had a dream about Freaks and Geeks. To give some background, I had just finished watching this show on Netflix like two days before this happened. I was kind of sad that it was ending, since I really was enjoying it, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

When I went to bed days later, in my dream I was hanging out with Bill, Neal, and Sam. Somehow I felt like I personally knew them as my friends, but was also aware that they weren't real and this was a TV show. Dream logic I guess.

Anyway, we were all sitting around having fun until remembered how I finished the last episode. I vividly remember telling them that for reasons I couldn't explain (the show ending), this was the last time I was going to be able to see them. They were disappointed, but surprisingly understanding about it too.

I couldn't tell them they were in a TV show, but they didn't pry for an answer. We all just kept hanging out and having fun with each other. Laughing, playing games, it was great. Then I woke up.

I don't know what the purpose of this post is or what this all means, but just thought it would be a cool thing to share.

I’ve been DYING to find a show that tugs at my heart strings like Freaks and Geeks. This show “Everything Sucks” has all the aspects of the show. Give it a watch.

In the cafeteria scene, after Bill takes a bite of the jelly sandwich, after Neal says "You want me to go get Ms. Foote so you two can discuss it", you hear Sam laugh but don't see the reaction shot, even made a video shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmwkDLNSzuk like it says there,I wonder if it was edited out for dramatic effect or the mic picked up the laugh? There's other scenes where you see him laugh with a mouth full, though not as hard as he does here. IT does seem like something was cut out here

Did anyone notice that Neal got better at ventriloquism as the episodes went on? At first he moved his mouth like he was normally talking, and then by the time Neal preforms at the party, he is pretty good.

Was the show accurate in representing High School life in the ‘80s? We’re parents like that, being strict about respect and talking about things like sex and drugs? Was society the way it was represented? Etc. etc.

I can't find freaks and geeks on UK Netflix and I can't find any posts about it?

I ended up watching this show around my senior year in highschool and instantly fell in love. I've rewatched it at least 4 times since but I'm just wondering how come they never finished the story? Sure they're all older now and not in highschool but why didn't they ever make like an animated series? A cool little cartoon with them voice acting in it to at least finish the story would be amazing. And if that's too much then why didn't Judd apatow write a book or something? It has been 3 years and I'm still not over the cliffhanger, what do you guys think?

Freaks and Geeks was a television show created by Paul Feig and produced by Judd Apatow which ran on NBC in 1999-2000. The show was canceled after only one season, but it has gone on to develop a large cult following while also launching most of the casts members careers.
