I'm a 58 year old woman who has put over 350 miles on my motorcycle since getting my permit on June 10th! Next step: pass the driving test and getting my endorsement.

level 2

That’s awesome!

You sound awesome! Thanks for the inspiration. No motorcycle yet but finally bought running shoes last week.

We are able to help about 200 homeless individuals with food, water, clothing, hygiene and more thanks to the community we have in Calgary, Alberta. We started with like 5 or 6 sandwiches and juice boxes 3 years ago. Helped a handful of people, one by one, to grow to where we are today. Perseverance does pay off. If your wondering or stressed, just remember to stay strong

level 2

Sounds like great work y’all are doing up there!

level 3

Thank you so much <3 Its a blessing to be able to give back to those who need it.

I am a 26 year old male who has officially became a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

level 2

Good job. Now can you explain why my right knee keeps clicking when i ride my bike?

level 3

I am sorry but I will not be able to give you medical advice over the internet. If you are in pain, I would highly suggest you to go seek a Physical Therapist in your area to get a full evaluation. Sorry if this is not you want to hear, but there are a multitude of factors that come into play. Seeking professional help will be highly beneficial.

I was just kidding. Ive had 3 knee surgeries and i am overweight. I know why my knee hurts.

I’m an 18 year old male in high school and all my life I’ve been made fun of for being the skinny lanky kid. (At one point I was 130 pounds and 6’4) I’ve been trying to gain weight and get in shape recently and I finally hit my goal weight of 160 pounds this week :)

level 2

Bro! Congrats man, Im a skinny kid too any suggestions?

I don't know. Probably that I've changed my mind and actually try to get things done instead of thinking about doing them.

level 2

That’s a step! Keep it going. I’m proud of you.

I was able to work through my depression twice this week and end the days on a good note, I have struggled with productivity for years and years now. So happy about this. Keep fighting y'all

Honestly I've been kicking my porn habit and have stayed clean for a month! I'm super proud of that

level 1

Ik it's not much but today i made it my goal to be friendly to every person i met today and say hi to people i don't usually talk to. I felt like i made a few people smile today so i guess today is a victory :)

level 2

People doing like this have made several of my bad days into good ones. For example, one day at school I was having a bad day (I don’t remember why), and as I was leaving, a guy I hadn’t even seen before held the door open for me and told me, “Good vibes, man. Have a great day.” This was nearly 2 years ago, and I still think about it if I need some motivation.

Was depressed last year in AS, got 2 D's a C and a B. Tried to kill myself.

Still get anxiety at points, but I've managed to keep depression at bay, and today I opened my A2 (A Level) results. 2 B's and an A, and I've got an unconditional place at university to study the course I want.

So I just want to borrow the ear of any of you depressed people out there. I've been there, it hurts, it really does, but don't give up, you can do it. I might not know you, but I know your awesome, so just show the rest of the world that.

level 2

Well done! That's some amazing achievement.

level 1

I know it might seem silly, or even dramatic. I just turned 27, I deal with really bad depression and anxiety all the time and really low self confidence and self esteem (I could be having a great day then one bad thought or someone calling me dumb just shoots me down). And on many days, just waking up and just going through the day is a victory in itself.

level 2

I'm happy for you :) life is a journey

level 2

I turned 27 too!

I ran 50K this week and meditated 3 times ;) I read 2 books on Leadership too !!

I passed my summer classes so I’m still on track to graduate on time this May!!!! I worked full time and then went to five hour classes or did work for for A&P I and II, two of my (personally) most difficult classes. I got an A and B and can finish the courses they were pre-reqs for over the next two semesters. It was hard to stay motivated, especially with my anxiety, but I pushed until I got there. Bachelors and grad school here I come :) Edits for grammar lol

I recently decided to learn to play the guitar. Last week I managed to practice an hour every day. And I'm able to play one of my favorite songs (won't put it down here as it's an Austrian song). I'm pretty proud of it :)

level 2

You should be proud of yourself! Well done ;)

I started my commitment to weight loss back in January and I've had a lot of ups and downs. Recently, I hit a major plateau and have been down in the bumps about it. Until Tuesday when I weighed in - Lost 5.8% of body fat and gained 6.1 pounds of muscle. I also shaved 41 seconds off my mile! I'm super proud of myself and wanted to share it :)

Feeling fitter because I’m resistance training and using spinning for aerobic exercise. Feeling good!!! Only getting better!

I just finished my first semester of nursing school. This is my second degree. I decided to switch careers because I felt completely unfulfilled in life. I'm in an accelerated program. I took 17 credits in 10 weeks and managed to get straight A's. It's an unbelievable feeling!

This week I was able to drop my business website. It was a long time coming but I made it myself. I was very proud that people liked the website and it gives me a great sense of accomplishment. https://rawammotivation.com/

I think this is not that big of a deal, but it still worries me quite a bit. I'm a 14 year old, who gets his only income (besides parents giving me money when it's truly needed) by playing proms and birthday parties. Since I get a gig once or twice a month, it isn't much, but it's better than nothing. Recently I've been coming to the conclusion, that I want to leave the band I'm playing with soon, cause I don't enjoy doing half-assed covers of local old radio hits, and this is stealing my desire to pursue what I dream to do the most - write, record and perform freely. My choice has made me anxious knowing, that this is my only way I'm getting any extra money, and this is not the best moment to not have anything, cause I have things coming up I'm supposed to have money for. I know that this comment is not deserving that much attention, since most of you guys are actually dealing with some bigger and more relevant things. All I wanna say to you all is that we worry for the biggest part of our lives and it's great that you're aware of things you want to change in this world, and yourself. You're already on the right tracks if you're seeing something, that seems wrong to you. Put your mind actively on things that you want to experience, and with doing you will attract whatever your mind is or was on.

I got into Academic Chemistry (advanced) bc I passed the Algebra Keystones. I thought for sure I failed until I got my schedule today & had no remediation classes....I was bad at Algebra, had no confidence in it and honestly it was the class of hell. Even with that, I studied my ass off for 2 weeks, barely passing with a 1502- but it was proficient. Seeing my schedule today felt so surreal.....I've never been so proud of myself.

Never stop fighting for what you want bad. A subject I struggled with all my life, I passed a major test on. I didnt even pass math PSSAs more than 2 times. Dont ever give up, because when you win in the end...all the stress, working long periods of time, strong feelings of 'I'm not gonna make it'- it'll all be worth it.

:)

I have applied for funding from European Commission when I was 22 years old and received 53'000 € to organise a youth exchange about recycling 10'000 km away from here with 46 people from all over European Union during 11 days.

But I still can't stick to going to gym 5 times per week and it makes me sad. When I have motivation then I get injured or something prevents me physically from going and when I'm not injured or not being able to go I have not motivation to actually go...

level 1

It took me a week but decided at the beach, I called to set up an apt for therapy.

level 1

I got admission in a good college due to consistency and my effort to de-stress and focus on concepts.

level 1

I got a good score on an exam I recently took.

Went swimming today.

level 1

I’ve been in a slump for quite a while. Finally had a good day at the gym. It may have been a small victory, but it was a really good break for me.
