Best example of just how insane early 2016 fnatic were. They were never out of a game.

This was back when Tec9 was broken as shit

A great map but not even best of the tournament. navi-luminosity overpass in the semis was even more insane

I still think that NV vs Fnatic in dd2 @ ESL Cologne 2015 Finals was the best map from Fnatic.

Ya, that one was also good insane to watch as it was happening.

I remember when pronax left and I was so sad, and then Dennis was bad their first tournament, but then he got his shit together

I still rewatch Liquid vs LG to see how things can go so good to so bad in a matter of a couple of rounds- and how to lose $370 in one match.

Still so fucking hard to believe they lost.

fnatic were monster at this event

lg / sk / mibr destroyed themselves ruining that 2 times major winning roster

LG Choked harder than Astralis in that series

It was a good comeback but during their golden era Fnatic did this to every team. I can't count how many games they had against strong opponents when they were at 7-14 down or something and just went up a level and never dropped a round. It was to the point that when I saw a scoreline like that I still thought Fnatic were just as likely to win as the other team with the lead - a mindset that is so alien to what happens in modern CSGO where we have such good executes and utility that you can't really do this consistently any more.

Never forget Dust 2 at the Cologne 2015 finals

Edit: or the Inferno game vs VP in the semis for that matter

"Krimz, he gets himself the triple, and fnatic are not done yet!"

Ah, the memories.

Ah, I must have mis-remembered, my bad. Who was it?

mousesports Fan

FNC was operating on entirely another level during those times. I have vague memory how they were getting hammered by NiP who was playing Mirage T side only to win the game by pulling from 12-3 scores or something by having even nuttier T side.

Never forget the ‘Fnatic Timeout’

Was this the bo5 final where fnatic came back from 12-3 twice? And then in the last map were leading 12-3 and won?

3 points · 1 day ago

Fnatic actually came back from a 13-3 deficit on Overpass. I still remember them losing the second half pistol to an incredible fnx ace clutch and thinking it was all but over, but nope, the magical timeout came in and they brought it home.

Close, it was map two that they got up 12-3. Inferno was map 3 where they got down 12-3, took it to OT and won

A good one for sure.

My all time favorite is the come back from Vitriolic against Reason Gaming at Tex09 in CS:Source, Redeye and tosspot casting it, Dust 2. Beautiful counter strike.

This frag movie is based around VTL at Tex09 and the ending is the game, remember it like it was yesterday and will no doubt be the best game I've ever witnessed.

Same tourney NaVi vs Luminosity in semis on overpass was better IMO. That was probably in top 3 matches I've ever seen.

Could be argued that it is one of the best in CSGO, but certainly not in all of counter strike.
