One problem we have on here is that people submit songs and they are drowned in the sea of posts. Taking the time to review the unanswered posts helps a ton! Even if it is just 3 posts or a full page of them, this really does help a ton. Commenting on them is important as well, even if you don't know the song.

Use those upvotes and downvotes! If you have the same earworm from a song as someone else here, upvote it! Also, comment on it to help them out with what you remember from whatever song it is. Two heads are better than one.

Lastly, flair your posts. Please use the genre tags first. After a few hours of inactivity on your post, we would recommend flairing it "Unanswered." As soon as you figure out the song, flair it answered.

If you have anything else you'd like to add, please feel free to comment below. Have a nice day!

I remember the music video as being a guy in a hurry through the city and then through a medow. In the medow there where a lot of air ballons filling up, with people on them and people getting up. He's running to get there on time and when he get's to his ballon, it flies away with what I assume was his family (a woman and a kid). They wave goodbye at him and he waves goodbye at them.

It's was late 90's / early 00's I think. Definitely before 2010.

PD: Sorry for my english. Spanish is my mother tongue.

So i've done what i could to name the song from this mix (https://youtu.be/VMujFZ2kuQk?t=52m8s) song is from 52:08 - 54:40. I even typed down all the lyrics, and tried to google the different pieces, but with luck. In case you're more adept at me, i'll provide the lyrics below:

When you know what you want but you can’t quite reach it. And you can’t talk about how you really feel. But it ain’t my place to stand here preaching. But for once would you please just, let me be real. Cause I swore that my heart can’t take it. But I keep coming back and I’m here once again. And I tried so hard just to fake it. But the song is so long that I can’t pretend.

Just gotta be you There’s no reason that you should let go And inside you really need to know Just gotta be

When I know what I want but I can’t stop rushing But it stop but still went out of time And I know that you know that I know that you know it’s over There’s a lock on your love and the keys not mine When I thought that you left me chasing But the hunt just went on too long And I thought I was lost but I told her i’d, turn myself into steel trying to put things right But I still carry on

Just gotta be you There’s no reason that you should let go Just gotta be you And that’s all you really need to know Just gotta be

Hey guys, I'm searching for an older song that's played with an electric guitar at the beginning (with an echo effect) with a saxophone/trumpet later on. I think I heard it in the movie Lemon Popsicle or in a 50s/60s Spotify playlist.

I've got the melody hummed here: https://soundcloud.com/san-holo-371094793/rec-11s

Thank you.

"Take it easy" was repeated a lot during the song. I can't find it by searching those lyrics because all I get is The Eagles song!! :(

Although the song has a woman on the vocals, it's not the focus. It's more about the tunes.

The main tune goes something like this: https://clyp.it/w5zragcv

Asked some friends, they all know it but can't name the song. I feel like I should know this one.

Hi all,

This is a x-post from tipofthetongue since I feel this reddit might be a better fit for the question.

I recently heard a song and I dont know the name of it. It has english lyrics, a male singer and the very distinctive part that stands out is the female vocal chorus which is a weird aaaaa aaaaaa aaaaa aaaaaaaaaaa, aaaa aaaaaa aaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaa [https://clyp.it/mrp3zime]. It sounded quite recent (quite possibly published in the last couple of years) and I heard it on the radio while driving in Germany.

I am sorry, I know this is not much to go on and my vocal skills have a tendency to cause people to question their sanity but I have been searching for days now without any luck. Hopefully someone happens to know.

Thank you.

Cheers, K.

I think it’s been used in a film or tv series but I can’t recall. It’s an electric guitar, strummed 5 (?) times very quickly. There as three sets of this strumming pattern, followed by a short pause and then there are four bass notes played.

Hello, I've come across 3 similar songs and I'm under the impression that they may all be based on a royalty free music. If so would anyone be able to identify said royalty music?

The sort of soft music playing until the :52 second mark. Can't find it anywhere. Have any idea what that sort of genre is called?

Thanks so much!

There was an edmish song sung by a female and the lyrics I typed down were, "Where ya do it do it do it do it do it do it do it do it you like.." ( I don't know honestly). Google searches did not help with that one. Heard in the Vancouver (Burnaby) H&M

That one with the woman going, "oooh AAAAAAA" while the orchestra hits. It seems to be some sort of meme.

I listen to the playlist on spotify "all the feels" all of the time, and it's in there but I can't find it. It ends with the quote "I know what love is" by forrest Gump. (Its not the song by Frank Ocean) I think it's a hip hop song? I can't really remember.
