I know the new season is about Mexico and were done with columbia but would anyone else love to see the narcos creator's take on Griselda Blanco's story? the cocaine cowboys part 2 is probably the best movie or documentary about her so far but I think they would do a good "hollywood" version

I heard 1 or all of these 3 girls in the wedding scene are actually making a cameo and are related to one of the real people involved in the case. I swear I saw this info posted somewhere on Reddit and its just bugging me. Maybe I can post on TOMT instead if this is not the place for it.

Quick question about Pablo's wife. In my language (also a romance language like spanish) "tata" means dad. I know that the spanish word for dad is "padre", but in S3 Jorge's children call him "tati" which is the romanian word for daddy, derived from "tata". Basically, Pablo's wife had "Dad" as the nickname, or "Tata" means something else in spanish?

I’ve noticed that towards the end of season 1 and through season 2, Pablo’s wife becomes more prominent in his decisions after Gustavo is killed by Search Bloc. Thoughts?

The wife and I just finished up season two last night. I have a good idea of where season 3 will go, but I don't have any sort of attachment to those characters. Pablo was such a complex character and was kind of bummed knowing we wouldn't be seeing him anymore in the show. My question is, is it worth watching Season 3 and beyond? We've really enjoyed the show so I don't want to watch anything that will lower my praise for the show.

Maybe I missed something but was it ever specified when he went to Columbia?

What about Pena, was he already there?

I'm trying to find that type of hat for a cosplay, plus they look good for the summer.

Two actors who appeared in Narcos appear in Sicario: Soldado! Bruno Bichir who played Fernando Duque plays Angel, a deaf man who Alejandro (Del Toro) talks too with sign language.

Also Shea Whigham who played Agent Duffy plays Andy Wheeldon, an arms dealer

Some random rants and observations:

  • The actress who plays Judy Moncada's character is straight from telenovelas. I'm always expecting for her to go full Soraya Montenogro..Maldita, traidora, asesina!

  • Speaking of telenovelas, I think the guy who plays Martinez was in a Latin American soap opera i watched as a child;

  • I miss Gustavo. :( He completed so well the character of Pablo.

  • The chick who plays Murphy's wife is the weakest actor on this show.

  • Carrillo was as bad as Pablo. Glad he died.

  • Women's characters are pretty uni dimensional, unfortunately.

  • I know Pablo dies in S2, sort of wish they they dedicated more seasons to him. The guys from Cali's Cartel seem pretty boring.
