I know I've seen him before but I can't remember where. I feel like I can see someone or something swinging and him jumping up repeatedly trying to bite whatever it is. Or barking at someone like he's talking.

Thanks in advance.

So there are other movies and shows where the actors discuss how they almost lost the role to x, y, and z. The auditions call sheet for The Office was released and it ws interesting to see the names on the list. However, there's been little talk about it with this show, or at least I haven't been able to find anything. In interviews with Jake Johnson, he's commented on how he almost lost out to another actor but never reveals the name. An article I did find was about how the comedian TJ Miller auditioned for Schmidt, and that would've drastically changed the show.

Do any of you know any other stories like this?

While warming it in the tumble dryer, the turkey catches fire. Jess takes the group into the apartment of her neighbor, Mrs. Beverly, whom she believes is visiting her sister. She gets into his bed with him, but they merely talk and hold hands. He phones Winston, telling him of his 'success'. Winston replies by telling him that does not count as 'closing'.

I’m on the third season and I can not stand Jess. She was super strange and annoying since the first episode. I love the rest of the characters and the show in general but her character keeps bothering me so much. I also don’t like nick and jess together I feel like the show was better when they weren’t a couple.

Summary: Nick suffers a blow to his self-esteem when Jess walks in on him naked, before his date with his coworker. Meanwhile, Winston gets obsessed with learning pop-culture references online.

Trivia:

  • It is revealed that Schmidt is the only person in the loft who hasn't seen Nick's penis, but he really wants to.
  • In this episode there is a plot point that Jess can't say penis even though she clearly says it in the pilot.

Close enough to Julius Pepperwood with a rearrangement of the W, and from Louisiana.

What are some unlikely pairings (friendship or romantic) you wish we saw more of?

For me it would be

-Russel and Reagan as a couple in the end

-more Nick and Aly, they were gold when she helped him with his breakup

-May was funny, I wish we saw more of her with Nick before their breakup happened

-I'd love to see Robbie Reagan interactions

-Nadia and really anyone interacting

Summary: Jess accidentally breaks the television in the living room by throwing a basketball at it. Nick and Schmidt try to convince Jess to retrieve her TV (to replace the one she broke) and personal belongings from the house she had shared with her now ex-partner, which she and her friends do.

After Coach leaves, the original fourth roommate Winston (Lamorne Morris) returns and attempts to manipulate Schmidt into switching rooms since Schmidt now occupies Winston's original and larger bedroom.

Trivia:

  • After she walks out of Spencer's house towards the end of the episode, Jess can be seen toting two Vera Bradley duffel bags: one in the pattern "Happy Snails" (navy blue with yellow and red flowers) and one in the pattern "Safari Sunset" (pink, red and orange)

Noteable Guest Stars: None

How come out of all the characters, Winston's backstory seems nonexistent? All I know about the guy is that he fell asleep in a bathtub.

Schmidt with the fatness, Nick with the lawyer/college stuff, Jess with her childhood flashbacks, Cece and her start of modeling and flashbacks, even Coach was introduced by his heartbreak backstory.

The question is; who IS Winston Bishop????

Is there a line that, no matter how many times you see the episode, it still kills you?

"I am gonna poop weird tonight" is absolutely that for me.

I really like Aly and think she is the best female character on the show. I love seeing female characters that are sarcastic and funny and I didn’t get that so much from Jess or Cece.
