In this weekly thread you can discuss the Offense roles of Overwatch to your heart's delight. What are the characteristics of those heroes?
The main objective of the offense role is to scout the area, harass the opposing team, and press the objective. Heroes classified as offense generally have high damage weapons and abilities and lower health pools than tanks and some defense heroes. They are usually excellent duelists with high mobility and good burst or sustained damage.
You can find a list of the current offensive heroes on the Overwatch Hero Overview.
Share guides and strategies that are valuable to an offensive Overwatch Hero or other tips and tricks that helped you to get better. You can also propose ideas why a certain hero is bad in your eyes and how to make it better. Please do so in a constructive way!
Each Match is a four map set (a fifth map will be played as a tiebreaker where necessary). Each team will play five matches, and the two teams with the best records will qualify for Blizzcon.
Each match will begin on a predetermined control map: Nepal, Lijiang Tower, Ilios, or Oasis. Starting with the second map, the loser of the previous map gets to pick the next map. The tiebreaker Control map must be different than the first Control map. All maps are available.

After Mercy Rez and Sym TP, Torb now has a cooldown ability similar to molten core. I guess the memes about turning ults into abilities are true.
This would be helpful to me when practicing with her, I suck at Phara and won't probably ever be playing her in comp but I enjoy her in QP.
In the recent developer, Jeff (Or blizzard) essentially drew a line across the sand and said they can't continue to add new social features, buff fixes and balance changes as well as a new PvE event every new event.
Some may be disappointed with this but I agree with Blizzard. This is a multiplayer game and I think Blizzard have been fairly on the pulse with balance changes and social features recently. Apart from Brig and Hanzo's rework release I've liked almost every new update over the previous one. More heros are viable now than have ever been and I'd rather they continue this hot-streak than work very hard on PvE events which while fun only will keep me playing the game for a most a week
You've probably played it on the custom games so you know what's up. But if you don't, infection is a gamemode where when you die, you must switch to the hero that killed you. You cannot (or should not) kill the same hero you are. The round ends when everyone is the same hero.
Playing a full game going from the full roster of 28 heroes down to 1 can take 3 hours or more. So I suggest that if this gamemode was official, the game should allow people to leave anytime, or start off with 8 or so randomly selected heroes instead of 28.
For the sake of consistency, it would be nice if Lucio could heal if he has the healing song selected while hacked. It doesn't make sense that every single other healer in the game can still be healing while hacked, but Lucio can't. Hacking should disable the impact of Amp It Up, but not his healing. At the absolute bare minimum, Lucio should be able to heal his teammates but not himself while hacked. Thoughts?
