I've seen a lot of people say that natural peanut doesn't have the consistency of the Jif/Skippy/etc. brands.
Just to throw it out there, I recently bought a few jars of Crazy Richard's Creamy Peanut Butter (notorious for being very runny and not even close to the consistency of Jif/Skippy/etc.). I poured about 50-75% of the oil off the top and stirred in the rest. It now has the consistency of the top branded peanut butter with the health benefits of natural peanut butter! This also does not change the taste, whether that be a good thing or bad thing to you.
at the moment I have M&S own brand, have tried sun pat. Does not matter if it has any other nut with the peanut e.g almond, or coconut, cocoa or honey. I’m looking for something that does not have too many additives or added sugar or salt.
Struggling here with the packaging of nut butters. I want to put that metallic film on it (Heat seal liner) and I cant find any caps with them inside of them already. I have found some sellers that just sell the liner separately. Can I buy the caps and liner separately and place the liner inside manually? I'm at a loss here.. Thanks!
Here in Australia there's a variety of different peanut butters on offer. Its said quality peanut butter are ones where the oils are separated; I've noticed that, peanut butters that have vegetable oil on the ingredients list tend to not have the oils separated.
I've always bought the non-salt, non-sugar added versions for health reasons. I've noticed though that, peanut butter tastes a lot yummier with salt; I want salt, but I don't want sugar I feel its unnecessary and I have weight and oral hygiene problems as is, and all the products that Ive seen for sale come with sugar AND salt together, cant have one without the other.
What peanut butters do you guys buy?
Peanut butter is my favorite thing on the planet - but lately it's hurting me too much. Gas, bloating, stomach cramps, and just generally feeling like crap for hours. Has anyone else experienced this tragedy? Any tips? Im wondering if natural peanut butter would make any difference. I also struggle to digest soy products in the same fashion so I suppose my tolerance for legumes is getting worse.
A subreddit for peanut butter, in all its evolution disproving awesomeness. And for all things peanuts, from the most delicious American peanut butter on a piece of white bread to savory Malian meat stew with a garnish of peanuts eaten out of a wooden bowl.
