This will be the place we discuss our boy's new show every week when it airs. Spoilers will obviously happen here so don't read it if you haven't watched it yet.
The man who molested Brendan needs to be held accountable. Where do we start? Twitter? Facebook? Looking for help.
I’m very new to the Save Brendan Movement, and was simply wondering if the man himself was aware of this following?
I feel like it would go such a long way for him to know there are tens of thousands of people subscribed to a community dedicated on reviving his career. That there is a massive amount of people that still appreciate him.
The Mummy Movies and Looney Tunes Back in Action are among my most cherished childhood memories. His reference in LTBIA of him saying he was the stunt man in the Mummy movies pretty much created my love for Meta humor, and is one of my favorite moments in cinema.
I just want him to know that.
My mom had a crush on him when I was growing up (probably still does) and so we always had his movies laying around. He is a pillar of my childhood. He was who I wanted to be when I grew up (like a blend between his characters and Val Kilmer, my mom's other crush). He taught me what it meant to be a man, how to handle adversity.
I watched a video on youtube today of him being interviewed in 2016 by AOL and he sounded insanely depressed and demoralized. I do not know how he is doing in 2018, I can only hope life has gotten better for him. While I don't have twitter and cannot say this to him directly (if he even uses it, who fucking knows) I hope this message reaches him on the theory that you must check your fan page on reddit every now and again, right?
You are loved Brendan. I am a stranger, my words mean nothing, but you are a god among men as far as I am concerned. I have never been let down by your performance, I have never doubted for a second the sincerity of your characters. Your films are the films I will raise my children on. Your films bring me happiness when nothing else in life can. Wether it was Encino Man, Bedazzled, Airheads or The Mummy or anything else, the world you create for me in every film is the precise kind of escapism I look for in film. And if you ever want to talk, hit my line man. I got swishers and I got doinks.
