Does anyone have any idea how the demogorgon can see or detect prey, considering it doesnt have any obvious eyes or ears?

Tonight I saw Predator (The old one with Arnold Schwargnegger). There I found something Shocking. At the Scene where Sergeant Hawkins (😂😂😂) dies and the Team don't find his body but finds his Equipment, Dillon says, "Hopper. That's what happens to Jim Hopper."

So wait, The Sheriff of Hawkins, Indiana. The Greatest Dad. The One-Punch Sheriff is named after a Dead-Guy who died Off-Screen.

I was thinking about this the other day,and I think if a main character did die, it would be Eleven since she has tried to sacrifice herself before (when she destroyed the demogorgon, she didn't know if it would kill her or not, also the same thing with closing the gate) and it seems like she would do literally anything for Mike. And I thought it was suspicious when a couple weeks ago the actress who plays Eleven was in an interview talking about how she thinks Eleven should sacrifice herself before the series ends. (Suspicious right?) Also I think it would be interesting to see Mike, and Hopper go through the trauma of losing El. But I think if this did end up happening,it would happen in the last season, maybe even the final battle? Let me know what you think
