12pm edit: That's it for us in the AMA! Thanks for joining, everyone. The Walking Dead: The Final Season launches tomorrow. Hope you enjoy it!
We'll be answering questions starting at 11am PT from this account! Here's the team behind the AMA:
Lastly, please be mindful of spoilers and use the spoiler tag liberally. We'd like to be respectful of other players and their experiences playing the game!
New issue is out!
Discuss it here within this thread. You do not need to use comic spoilers because it is assumed everyone reading this thread would be caught up with the comics. However, please respect future, show, and game spoilers because people who are caught up with the comic may not be caught up with these other forms of TWD (and obviously not future spoilers). Future spoilers include upcoming comic covers.
A lot of people seem annoyed that AMC is promoting the end of Rick Grimes, and as much as I hate AMC, I do have to come to their defense here.
They are mainly doing this for two reasons. One is that Lincoln’s departure from TWD has been known for a while, and it was first reported by an outside source, AMC is trying to promote it too as for damage control.
Another reason is the imminent backlash. AMC is greedy, but they’re not dumb. Lincoln leaving will put a dent on the viewership, and they know this. If they were to not announce it and then someone who doesn’t go online much and had no clue Rick was dying seeing it would be bad. People would be livid. Carl’s death infuriated a lot of people, and Rick’s will only make it worse. AMC wants to get ahead of this.
So with Telltale game shutting down and the finale season going unfinished, that leaves Clem's fate in the air. So do you think AMC will add her to show sometime? Would you like to see her on the show? I know kirkman said he wanted to keep them separate, but since i have not played it yet. (I wanted to wait until the whole thing was out before i played it) I don't know where she is left off. But do you think she will make it on the show one day?
Re-watching Season 7
7A - despite negative reaction this could've been a perfect pre-war arc.
Then season 7B came along and stalled, I think if the All Out War arc started in 7B and ended in 8A it'd be a lot happier fandom ?
Telltale TWD Episode 2 "Suffer the Children"
Season 9 Premiere
The Walking Dead Day
Telltale TWD Episode 3 "Broken Toys"
