Except BMW don't use that moronic massive touchscreen in the interior (yet, please god BMW don't do that).
They've been rather intent on using the dial/joystick/touchpad combination in iDrive so far with the touchscreen as an alternative option, so I expect we'll be safe from giant touchscreens a while longer.
Yeah the idrive system is really nice, I can do basically everything on mine without having to even look at the screen.
Which is how it should be. I don't care if the screen is raised like an iPad but for fuck's sake, don't make me use a shitty touchscreen.

Having driven a Model 3, I admit it's workable and less crazy than I expected, but still not even slightly ideal.
Steering wheel felt nice, though, so it had that going for it.
