Clear port-security address

I am also assuming you have mac sticky feature enabled?

You can use the following

no switchport port-security mac-address sticky

If you are not using mac sticky, i would suggest clearing the arp entry from the arp table.

You'll need to do MAC learning - I believe in Cisco it's called sticky MAC learning or something like that.

As far as I know the only way to do this is to use "switchport port-security mac-address sticky". This will allow the port to learn the MAC and then you can clear it by removing and re-applying the sticky. We use mac address sticky and "max" number on our switchports.

Using "no switchport port-security" will clear it, you can then immediately use "switchport port-security" to re-apply it.
