Approaching 23k

We're coming up on the 23,000 mark and should hit it either today or tomorrow. I'm excited to say that we've grown this much and with that growth i'd like to also help a fewer of the smaller subs or lesser known subs.

Sidebar changes

Sub Recommendations

So in the vein of helping to smaller subs one of those sidebar changes is a "Other Subs You May Enjoy" section. This is a new section and the moderators of both /r/casualChildAbuse and /r/ShitMomGroupsSay are onboard to create small network of subs that are similar to ours. (ie: shining a light on shitty parents.) So if you like the kind of content that is posted here - check out their subs. They have their own twist on things and different content as well.

Other Small Sidebar Change.

I mentioned this change in an edit on the last announcement post; however, on the off chance no one saw it - I will also post them here. On May 28th the sidebar was edited to add in a link to our "reporting abuse" page in the wiki. This is to ensure that it is there and easily accessible in case anyone should need it.

Another change I mentioned in an edit on that post was that on May 27th I loosened the spam filter a bit in respect to comments. I noticed some legitimate comments were getting caught in it - this was an effort to reduce that issue, and so far it has proven to be successful.

Lastly I got no feedback in the anonymous doc I posted last time; however, I will post it again on the off chance someone does want to submit feedback that way. Your feedback is important to help us shape this community - find new topics, implement new flairs for certain topics, restrict certain topics, etc. If you have an idea don't hesitate to tell us. Or just tell us we're doing great. We'd love that too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read all of this. I continue to post these for the sake of transparency and to get feedback. So far that's what has worked. I'll continue to do it as long as it does.

So my mom and i were talking about how my insulin (I'm a type 1 diabetic) costs too much, and she told me that vaccines most likely took a role in causing my diabetes, she then took the conversation up another level talking about crisis actors and how pharmaceutical companies make money off autism?! She then told me putting onions on my feet would draw out my bodily toxins and that cannabis oil cures cancer instantly

Post those insane parents you see in the news and on social media here. The flat-earthers, the anti-vaxxers, the crazy guy in a car chase with his son, etc.
