Is everyone else also way more excited for this draft than usual? by Patriotsshammarz in nfl

How is this a weaker draft overall?

Tons of RB depth, QB, DL as well. All those QBs will push down the elite talent a bit. A lot of CBs that could go in the first...

Not really any super great WRs or TEs but quite a few of each in the tier below.

A lot of really fuckin good OL's. Certainly a few more solid secondary players.

Oh and there's like, what, four, five linebackers that could go top 25?

The #Giants have had trade discussions centered around former first-round OT Ereck Flowers, sources say. He has stayed away from voluntary workouts, and the belief is the new staff will be able to trade him for draft compensation. Correct, which was always my opinion. Which was why I felt that Jerry Reese wasn't the issue. It's the GMs job to scout talent. It's the coaches job to coach that talent. The only guys Reese hit on were the guys who were so talented the moment they stepped on the field they were one of the best guys on the field. Guys who needed refining in their game, never came into their own. If it's a few guys, maybe the scouting department sucked. But when every guy shows flashes and freak athletic ability and never puts it together? That's on the coaches.

His first time ever running a 40, Christian Okoye aka "the Nigerian Nightmare" ran a 4.38. by SaintsCaptainSteelmeat69 in nfl

Watching that video as a younger fan, all i see is a way bigger guy lowering his head insead of his pads...it looks like hes anticipating and respecting the massive car crash that's about to happen so much than he forgoes all fundamentals and lowers hes head instead of his shoulders....if he ran even slightly more being his pads that play instead of spearing the crow of his hemlet into atwalters shoudler pad, im sure he wins the down. Did he hurt his knee that play? Or just nearly break his neck/spine??

To me thats case and point of a poor way to run someone over as opposed to a massive tackle.

Besides your favorite team, what would you consider to be the team you most enjoyed watching? by Panthersbuhdee4 in nfl

I'm just fucking with you brother. Lol. The 90s Cowboys were honestly fun to watch(well besides the superbowls). Smith was a beast and I'm honestly a Tony Romo, Sean Lee and Demarcus Ware fan. I don't even hate you guys as much as I hate them fucks in New Jersey.

Gurley was really good receiving the ball last year too. And both of them are bigger than Faulk. They’re both 3 down backs. While DJ splits out more often, they’re pretty similar players.

I was super nervous about that too! The Packers picked like right before us and I thought there was a really chance they took him.

This was awesome. A truly great listen. I’m curious to your thoughts, though, now that it’s believed the Vikings will exercise the 5th year option on Waynes. Do you still see the Vikings drafting his replacement if he has at least two seasons left?

Or do you see them going towards another 3-tech to rotate with Jaleel after this year with Richardson?

Or possibly an OL to help the need at G?

Thank you again for doing this and I plan on being a perennial watcher of your work.
