While most of the characters keep their core character traits, we see most of the characters evolve over the course of the series.

April goes from being quiet, and apathetic to being much more confident in her strange interests and cold attitude toward others.

Tom's love for extravagance and trendy luxuries grows while owning several businesses leads him to some maturing.

Ron goes from simply a manly man who likes meat and woodworking to someone who is so out of touch with pop culture and current technology he doesn't know what an ipod is.

I'm sure all of you already know how all the characters evolve (for better or worse), so again I ask: who do you like better in later seasons and who do you prefer in earlier seasons?
