This thread is for general football discussion and a place to ask quick questions.

Sorry about the delay, auto-mod is a fraud and I’ll be launching a petition about this.

Hi everyone, happy one-week since the World Cup ended. Around this time a week ago everyone on the pitch in Luzhniki Stadium was getting rained on except for Vladimir Putin.

I spent ~17 days in Russia for the World Cup and went to four different matches in four different cities. I went to Brazil v Mexico (Rd. of 16) in Samara, Russia v Croatia (Quarterfinal) in Sochi, France v Belgium (Semifinal) in St. Petersburg, and France v Croatia (Final) in Moscow.

I asked in the "FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 - Post World Cup Discussion" if anyone would be interested in a photo album of my trip and it received good feedback so like a good OP, I delivered. Even though it's about 4 days later than what I had promised.

So, without further delay here's my photo album from my solo trip to Russia: https://imgur.com/a/dunzbHu

If you don't want to scroll and read through 167 photos you can just check out this ~4 minute video made automatically by my phone: https://streamable.com/kppc7

If you have questions and I'll do my best to answer. Lastly, спасибо россия! I highly recommend Russia to everyone as it's a great country to visit and trip I'll never forget!

Special thanks to /u/n0thing_remains for this post: http://goedhartvoordieren.nl/?page=r/soccer/comments/8r9zk7/a_brief_guide_to_being_in_russia_also_ask_your/

and /u/somewhere_now for this post: http://goedhartvoordieren.nl/?page=r/soccer/comments/8q08uy/top_attractions_of_the_2018_world_cup_host_cities/

As you can see, Samara wasn't as bad as it seemed.
