Our wiki has lots of good info on getting around Sydney, what to do when you visit, where to eat, and more.
Except for doing stuff on day leave it gets a bit monotonous in here, everyone's pretty nice but we either have a large age gap(they're much older) or just not much in common so theres no one to really chat with. I'm in here for bipolar, if theres anyone whose been through this i'd love to talk. Just a heads up if the nature of this post has you worried I don't even want to talk about depressing things, i just want to have someone to chat too
Some mates and I are looking to go camping out near Oberon this weekend. The only camping spot I've been able to find any info about is the Black Sprints rest area which isn't really what we're looking for.
Does anyone here have any experience camping out that way?
Hope everyone is having a lovely thursday! Ive read the wiki & rules but alas i couldnt find any details on any night time hikes. So im just wondering if anyone has any night time 1-4 hour hiking suggestions? Im looking for something with a rewarding ending, maybe a waterfall or glow worms or even some haunted shack (getting desperate). I recently went on the glow worm glen track which was quite rewarding, something similar or better would be great! Also not too worried about a drive, willing to drive 1-2 hours out of sydney. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and forgive me if this has been asked before
I've recently noticed that the younger generations of Sydneysiders tend to pronounce the long A vowel in words like "plan" and "hand" as an "eh" sound, and not the "a" sound.
Is this an ongoing change, and is it specific to Sydney?
