Freaks And Geeks

[–]feeltheslipstream 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As much as I loved it, I don't want it back.

Too much time has passed, and they can't just pick up the story organically anymore. It'll have to be a reboot (which is a gamble that might ruin the show), or do some weird time forward thing where somehow everyone's still hanging out with friends from high school.

[–]looseythousand[S] 5 points6 points  (7 children)

Oh yes please! They could all be teachers/parents of (the new generation of) kids now haha!

[–]arhanv 9 points10 points  (5 children)

I'd rather see a completely unrelated story in the same style. It could take place in the 90s or the early 2000s and be about a different set of characters. In some ways, I don't want to know what happened to the characters from the original show. It would have been cool to see more seasons while it was still possible to make them but bridging the 15-20 year gap probably won't work out very well. Plus, all of the cast members except Samm Levine have insanely tight schedules and I can't see a sequel working out.

[–]vonnillips 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Have you seen Undeclared?

[–]arhanv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, but I want to. Just haven't gotten around to it yet I guess haha

[–]BuffaloWilliamses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. I’d love to see a reboot with a new cast of characters with maybe an occasional cameo from the original cast.

[–]_w00k_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And at the end the main character goes on phish's fall 1999 tour and attends big Cypress over new years eve.

[–]makeshiftpatriot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the Degrassi approach, hahaha

[–]Raging_Magneto96 21 points22 points  (7 children)

I didn’t watch much of it, it was before my time but I remember seeing a little of it when I was younger. I’d love to see a revival of Quantum Leap in today’s age with Scott Bakula Returning.

If we want to take more “recent” shows into account too. I wouldn’t mind seeing a return for Lost. It has almost been eight years now since the show ended. I wouldn’t mind revisiting the Island.

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Oh it was way before my time as well, I just remember the colourful costumes and the gigantic props. My parents didn't like me watching it, so there was always a sense that there was something a lot darker going on in that show.

I remember ads for Quantum Leap though never watched it; I always thought it was like the American Dr Who hehe. Lost would be a good one to go back to; plenty more answers to find!

[–]Raging_Magneto96 4 points5 points  (4 children)

I just think Quantum Leap would be good too because if I’m not mistaken, it never had a closed ending. It was left completely open. I think it was cancelled maybe. I’m not sure. But yeah, it would also look good with today’s technology.

[–]DrDagless 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I just think Quantum Leap would be good too because if I’m not mistaken, it never had a closed ending. It was left completely open.

Quantum Leap is a strange one. On the one hand it was left in a perfect position for the series to be picked up even decades later and just carry on with the adventures, but on the other hand the finale just had to go and sucker-punch us with THIS.

Unless a continuation retconned that nugget of info it might be hard to get viewers interested in a series where we know there is no chance of a happy ending.

[–]lesplumesdupangolin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, by the end of the show, we know that Sam Becket has a daughter in the present working on bringing him back home. Her name : Sam. I imagine a scenario where she manages to bring her father back, but takes his place in the process. He could be her new « Al ».
Plus, this would follow the current trend of gender-swaps and 80s/90s nostalgia.

[–]looseythousand[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

They bring back so many things pointlessly these days, so something with an open ending definitely deserves a come back. Isn't it set within alternate realities as well, so the possibilities for stories are endless :)

[–]Raging_Magneto96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure, I think so. Like I said: I haven’t watched much at all and what I have watched was so long ago. I might need to go back and watch it properly. I remember it being pretty fun too.

[–]TheSingulatarian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lost: The Hurley Chronicles

[–]SplendidOstrich 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It isn't super old, but probably Better off Ted. A great show cancelled far too soon.

[–]jencakes27 33 points34 points  (6 children)

Stargate sg1

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember getting nightmares front he movie when I was a kid!

[–]bool_idiot_is_true 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are doing that stupid arse prequel no one is going to watch because it's 10 ten minute episodes based on a character no one has cared about since the first season and is behind a subscription paywall. What a waste of a good IP.

[–]CapnSmite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, somewhat. SG-1 is one of my favorites, but it just wasn't the same after RDA left. The episodes with the different SG teams from different universes and 200th episode are really the only 2 that stand out to me from the last few seasons.

A sequel/reboot series would have to be something really spectacular to get me interested. Maybe Nathan Fillion as the new lead, whether he's a new character or a rebooted O'Neill.

[–]collateralvincent 0 points1 point  (1 child)

is it still worth watching today? Are there arcs or just quest of the week?

[–]1Vyxjy1NYXVgs8EEKxMe 14 points15 points  (5 children)

Deadwood, cocksucker

Edit: nsfw (swearing): https://youtu.be/u4D3UdxM3OU

[–]4477626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why did I watch that whole thing you cock sucker

[–]looseythousand[S] 2 points3 points  (3 children)

I think it IS coming back! They're making a movie last I heard (quite recent news, but I may be wrong!)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theyve been talking about a movie for 10 years. Im guessing well get it, but they should have done it much earlier. Actors age and die the longer they wait.

[–]BADGUY8 12 points13 points  (5 children)

Sliders. Every year I hope for a reboot

[–]looseythousand[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

In another dimension, new episodes of Sliders are being made!

[–]feeltheslipstream 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Arturo and wade must have never left the show.

[–]tourettes1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been talk.....

[–]RelativelyItSucks 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I was going to say none, and complain that we need to stop going back to old shit, but Sliders first 2.5 seasons were so good. It's sad what it became in the end. The video quality and effects even got worse, which is weird.

[–]BADGUY8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the quality went down because it started on Fox and went to Sci-Fi channel when they were first starting out original programming

[–]valtazar 27 points28 points  (2 children)

[–]whatsinthesocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Damn writers strike. Started off as an interesting show

[–]Conflict_NZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite show of all time, I watch it at least once a year.

[–]crafty_bernardo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sarah Chronicles.

[–]GlowingPathanScrubs 14 points15 points  (3 children)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

[–]Coffeecor25 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I'd love something set in the Buffyverse. I think it'd be a huge hit. Maybe an adaptation of Fray?

[–]GlowingPathanScrubs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd definitely watch that or them adapting S8 from the comics.

[–]JayPetey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re doing a new Sabrina the Teenage Witch that seems to have similar vibes.

[–]Dinner_Sausage 7 points8 points  (2 children)

[–]looseythousand[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

wiggles nose

[–]TheSingulatarian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I Dream of Jeannie

[–]SINCEE 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Any leftover Dark Angel fans around here?

[–]Pleberal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It got wrapped up in the novels.

[–]shadowbannedkiwi 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Roswell would be interesting in this day and age. Trying to hide their true identities could be difficult for the characters with Social Media activity, and it could be made more interesting with characters being on the run the entire time rather than sitting in one area.

A retelling of Shogun would be interesting or even a continuation from the 1980's series going into or after the Battle of Sekigahara.

The Tribe would be really nice too. I had no idea how popular it was in Australia a few years back. The show kinda drifted for me, but when it started, it was awesome. All the Adults are dead and only the kids are left to rule the world, all divided into Tribes that run different regions.

[–]redditor2redditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha The Tribe was fantastic but obviously more a kids/teenager show but they had amazing sets/costumes;actors for a low budget kids show and the orginal concept was pretty interesting

i actually revisited the show as an adult and it hold up quite good imho. Not too terrible. On the other hand I just found out about this horrible sequel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0BqQz5toG4

[–]p_hennessey 19 points20 points  (2 children)

[–]Moreton13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd prefer it to have never ended in the first place.

[–]hellasmells 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Banacek. Crazy nonsensical polish proverbs. Top notch detective work. Babes. Booze. It had it all.

[–]HiccupFlux 7 points8 points  (5 children)

Torchwood, Firefly, Dead Like Me.

Ranma 1/2 would be fun to see a reboot.

[–]jjat15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

dead like me is one of my favorite shows, it is entirely responsible for my cynical and sarcastic humor and disposition

[–]IAmTheNight2014 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Well, Torchwood is coming back technically, but as a radio drama, unfortunately.

That being said, I really need to watch the whole series from the start. The only series I've seen is Miracle Day.

[–]OniExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just really want to get some closure on Dead Like Me. The movie didn't address anything, and just made new (dumber) questions. It's one of the few cases where I'd be happy just to have the writers tell me where it would have gone.

[–]Shermanator92 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lie to Me.

[–]WallyGropius 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Jack of All Trades

[–]GingerSoulEater41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved this show when it first aired! Early 20s me also liked Cleopatra 2525

[–]BlackKnight2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]Robpool2000 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Malcolm In the Middle

[–]Andrei_Vlasov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be a very depressing show

[–]dylc 15 points16 points  (2 children)

[–]Ridley-Knight 15 points16 points  (1 child)

I just want the movie for completion's sake. Get all the cast from all seasons back, just have fun.

[–]____GODZILLA____ 2 points3 points  (4 children)

If anybody remembers Drive. It was on Fox I think in the mid to late 2000's. Didn't even get to finish it's first season but I remember really enjoying it.

[–]Benji0088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one with Nathan Filion? God that was good. Ex wheel man forced to compete in an illegal race across the country in order to get his kidnapped wife back.

[–]ArkyBeagle 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Was that about stock car/NASCAR racing? I don't think it was going to be allowed to continue. Pulled the curtain back a bit too much...

[–]theavenged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was about an underground race across the country where each racer had someone/something they care about taken, and they have to win to get it back, IIRC. It was pretty good, but only lasted 4 episodes (6 total, but the final two were on Fox.com and never aired).

[–]GingerSoulEater41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was with Tiffany Theissan?

[–]scorpiomoonbeam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dead Like Me.

[–]TheLonelyDevil91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gilligan's Island.

[–]reinking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dollhouse but based on the Epitaph One and Two episodes.

[–]cabernet7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Better Off Ted

[–]Panniculus_Harpooner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • magnum pi (i hear it's already in the works)
  • three's company (i hear it's already in the works)
  • mork and mindy
  • greatest american hero (well not really, but it's theme song makes me mention it)

[–]viktortedd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]writes_acrostics 5 points6 points  (5 children)

It’s before my time, but my dad shows me old episodes on DVD all the time and I love it. Would love to see it with modern production and all that.

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Is that like an old western series??

[–]ImALittleCrackpot 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Oh, you sweet summer child.

Bonanza intro

It looks like there are some whole episodes on YouTube, but I didn't try to watch any.

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh i remember this song! Looks like I got down voted for not originally remembering it, ah well!

[–]santapoet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was an attempt to reboot it in the 80s maybe. I think. It was called Bonanza the next generation.

[–]throwaway_350Seinfeld 9 points10 points  (5 children)

what if seinfeld still on tv today

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

they could do modern seinfeld, with smart phones and netflix! hah!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I would not want to see an attempt at a new Seinfeld. They tried with so many shows to do something like Seinfeld and they were so bad. I don't know if it could even happen again. The show was what it was because of the group of comedians who created and wrote it. They had this shared experience of working up through the clubs for years. I don't know if that culture exists anymore. Even the good new comedians now have what I see as a sort of shallowness to their material because they got too big too early. Larry David's observations about mundane stuff are funny because there's a juxtaposition with how the world would be otherwise, and what he's experienced. Then look at someone like Ansari, a comedian I don't find funny honestly, who does somewhat similar observational humor. The joke never gets to a point where the absurdity is contrasted with anything.

[–]throwaway_350Seinfeld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a reference to the seinfeld2000 twitter account, which makes fun of people wanting a Seinfeld revival with modern technology and shit

[–]YeaItsOle 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Scrubs but not like the last season

[–]Alexthegreatbelgian 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I disagree. It was perfect like it was. Doesn't need anything else.

  • The story ended just right for everyone (And I mean the season 8 finale)

  • The "spinoff" series showed us nothing else really was needed after that.

  • A remake would never do it justice.

[–]fernandotakai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed. but i really wanted something to rub my scrubs itch that is not scrubs, since it's got to a point where i know almost all episodes by heart.

[–]Rumo_RalaDeadwood 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Married with children, mostly to see the collective online butthurt about Al Bundys „a fat women walked into the shoe store“ stories

[–]BRB_GOTTA_POOP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently watched a compilation clip of Al's best insult and man they are hilarious, but in today's society the show wouldn't last two episodes.

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hehe, I'd actually like to see how they'd attempt to update Al Bundy (doubt they'd change him though); maybe Peggy's now the breadwinner for a change of dynamics haha?

[–]Rumo_RalaDeadwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern day Marcy Darcy would be a crazy feminist Trump supporter

[–]flashandthehologramsThe Flash 1 point2 points  (3 children)

There are a lot of older scifi shows like Lost in Space that have great concepts that would benefit greatly from the kinds of budgets that shows are given nowadays. 6 Million Dollar Man for one. Kolchak: The Night Stalker is another one that would be interesting if they updated it, they tried to do it back in 2005 but that ended up bombing but I think it's worth a second shot. If not a tv show then maybe a movie.

[–]Metlman13 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Isn't 6 Million Dollar Man being made into a movie?

Also, on the note of old sci-fi shows, I'd say a reboot of Space: 1999 could be interesting, even though the plot of being 'lost in space' is so generic with those types of shows.

[–]flashandthehologramsThe Flash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it? I know they were trying at some point and I know they rebooted the spinoff unsuccessfully.

Yeah that's definitely another one that could use an update.

[–]airchinapilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost in Space is coming back

[–]Jamiesfantasy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh, oh! I just thought of it! Sliders! I loved that show so much, watched it all the time. Then they started getting too weird with the sliding aliens and such. I think they should bring it back and let Joss Whedon control it. I think it would fit right in with the crazy sci fi today.

[–]jjat15 1 point2 points  (4 children)

persons unknown, pushing daisies, dead like me, Awake, Life, i had a bit of a phase where i was watching just cancelled series, sucks how such amazingly interesting shows get cancelled, whereas shitshows get renewed way beyond what they outta.

[–]mrjones1975 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Give Journeyman a go, you'll like it and feel suitably aggrieved at it's cancellation, I expect.

[–]jjat15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool, thanks for rec. Will defienlty give it a shot and be sad it ended.

[–]looseythousand[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I know! And usually based on such flimsy things such as ratings! I wish more risks could be taken in film and television but it's always going to be same! Producers will be all for reboots and sequels and things because of built-in fan bases and guaranteed box office monies.

[–]jjat15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I love shows like black mirror and sense8, cause there so unique and can definelty be a hit or miss with fans. Sense8 is defintly a show catered to a specific fan base, but if anyone trys to get that the story isn't unique the they are talking out of their ass. You can not like it, or hate it, thinks it's the worst thing on tv, but there is nothing else like it on tv, or film, and that's what I love about it.

[–]robowriter 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Firefly with most of the original cast

Wild Wild West without Will Smith

Dexter Goes to Twin Peaks since we last saw him in a logging town

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hehe, I wonder if there were ever meant to be connections between Dexter's dark passenger and Leland's greasy one ;)

[–]waade 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Brink back Dexter for one more season. an all out man hunt for a serial killer who´s changed his ways. It could be great and would redeem the previous bad seasons by a little

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a fan of the first few seasons and was totally lost by the middle and end of the series, this could potentially get me back on board. I kind of don't want Dexter to get away with it!!

[–]Cloudfiv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Jeffersons, but Sherman Helmsley is no longer with us.

[–]HereForGames 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Pirates of Dark Water. I really would've liked to know how it ended. The characters, story, design, art, voiceacting, everything was really great.

[–]OniExpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That one kills me. Last year I got the show back in my head and went hunting to see if there was anything. Zilch. There was never any more written for it after the cancellation.

[–]carbonshaman 1 point2 points  (1 child)

G vs E

[–]TAHTPB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what it is!

[–]ArkyBeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Have Gun Will Travel" with Walton Goggins playing Paladin and a knot of writers who understand the dialogue style of Elmore Leonard.

The David Carradine "Kung Fu", although I am not sure anyone else can do that and martial arts movies have evolved ... strangely.

[–]bobniborg1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Herman's head. Inside out for adults

[–]CoolestGuyOnMars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like the camp 60s Batman to come back. Maybe they could take a different hero, that doesn't get much TV/movie action and put them in it.

[–]RelativelyItSucks 1 point2 points  (2 children)

[–]TAHTPB 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes. I still site this as the main example of why I won’t watch a show until it’s been on for a couple seasons. Because This one screwed me over so bad.

[–]RelativelyItSucks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the same thing because of this show!!!

[–]CptNonsense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Land of the Lost

[–]lukereuter 1 point2 points  (15 children)

That 70s show but I have no idea how they’d pull it off

[–]sleepyleperchaun 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Random, and I have never seen it, but maybe check out Days Like These. It's the British version. Just FYI.

[–]lukereuter 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Neat I’ll have to check it out

[–]JimmySinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole first episode is on YouTube here but fair warning, it's bloody terrible

[–]ClipdodgechargePsych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]elpii 6 points7 points  (2 children)

None. I wish producers would try to come up with new concepts, new shows, original ideas and not reviving the same few shows all the time. 90% of the time the comeback is worse than the original. That's exactly what happened to movies' industry and it basically killed it for me and for many other people.

[–]looseythousand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, I do, but I think there are some shows that never reached the potential they could have achieved. I don't really mean replicating past successes, more so which shows would benefit from a modern setting or advanced special effects...

[–]drozy 1 point2 points  (2 children)

[–]Alexthegreatbelgian 3 points4 points  (1 child)

There needs to be a new horrible crime a show can exploit.

Dexter had you symphatizing with a serial killer. Hannibal made you interested in a cannibal. Breaking Bad made us root for a drug lord.

What's next? A show about someone who pimps prostitutes but actually takes care of them in a good way?

Edit: come to think of it. Not a bad idea for a show. Imagine a manager/HR guy for some company getting fired/set aside because he placed the needs of his employees before profit and then uses his experience to start a escort service and expertly manage his prostitutes in an area where the market is still ruled by exploiting pimps. Lots of potential to go into backstories of the employees and the client, and to have some social commentary on worker's rights inserted into the format. Lots of potential for confrontations with the other pimps so there's some action as well.

[–]waade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

gator dont play no shit

[–]pbpgames 2 points3 points  (7 children)

Mission Impossible but with all the old school tension and drama not the crappy 'bugs'/FOX deus ex machina.

Would also really like to see a proper Star Trek a-la-TNG. With the old heavy emphasis on humanist values and adventure. Discovery is not Star Trek in any way I recognize sadly.

[–]L3W3S 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Discovery is not Star Trek in any way I recognize sadly.

We must watch a different show then.

[–]RollTribe_97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Discovery is closer to Deep Space Nine, not classic TOS/TNG stories. It's more of a serialized drama and while I enjoy it, it's definitely not for everyone.

[–]zealotlee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe The Orville is the show for you.

[–]ArkyBeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mission Impossible

One can only hope. In a way, Person of Interest was sort of that. And I am not sure that the soundtrack wasn't the star of that show anyway.

proper Star Trek a-la-TNG

You get 80-90%ish of that with "The Orville". Plus you get dick jokes :)

[–]Hieschen 1 point2 points  (2 children)

The Prisoner

[–]Nanosauromo 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It did, and it was terrible.

[–]CapRodgers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it.

[–]TorteDeLini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Justice. I don't think anyone remembers this show but it was like CSI meets lawyers and had Victor Garber in it

[–]rwbombc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TV funhouse.

[–]TheSingulatarian 0 points1 point  (4 children)

A new Stargate series.

A Battlestar Galactica prequel series

The Rockford Files

Murder One

All in the Family

The Lost Room

[–]Pleberal 0 points1 point  (1 child)

There is a new Stargate mini series on the way. Stargate origins.

BSG already got two prequels both failed though caprica looked line it was about to get really good. Had a start as slow and bad as agents of shield but like that show really got in gear later. Blood and chrome was just plain bad IMO. Low budget mess. I fear Stargate origins will be the same.

[–]reinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked Caprica and you're right when you said it really seemed like it was about to get really good. I was disappointed when it did not come back.

[–]Sir_Bevis_of_Hampton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love a Galactica 80 reboot that didn't take itself too seriously - still set in the 80s with flying motorbikes and pharaoh helmets.

[–]Eroticawriter4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Lost Room reboot would be fantastic.

[–]WolfilaTotilaAttila 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see a 10 or 13 episode reunion season on NBC or Netflix or something.

Maybe something like Wild Palms, especially now with VR being so much more immersive and it would be interesting to see the miniseries redone for the social media age.

Strangers with Candy. Feel like it would be a great Netflix binge show, plus Amy Sedaris is already on two of their biggest shows (UKS and Bojack) so it wouldn't be that improbable.

Paul Dinello writes for Stephen Colbert's late night show, but I'm sure they could find time to write/star (especially since Paul wrote with Amy on her new show At Home with Amy Sedaris)

Original Kung Fu show from the early 70s. Here is the pilot episode.

Lately I've been watching a lot of the old episodes of Fear the old MTV show and it was one of the best shows to ever be on MTV in my opinion but apparently each episode costed too much to make so they got rid of it.

Megas XLR. Have Netflix or Hulu pick it up and reboot the series?

I know Almost Human just got cancelled a few years ago but I really enjoyed it, and Karl Urban and Michael Ealey were a great pair of leads.

A reboot of the original Kung Fu series, but with an asian lead with legit MA skills would be awesome. As a miniseries, around a single mystery/journey/adventure. Better yet if it was on premium cable or Netflix/Hulu so you could get realistic language and sets and complex plotting.

Danny Phantom by far one of my favorite shows as a kid. And I love how active Butch Hartman is on YouTube and Twitter, it keeps the kid inside me alive.
