The cast is amazing, Will Sasso is funny as hell. The comedy is sharp and well written. The story is interesting. I think this show also has a season 2 now. The performances in this show are very impressive, it balances the line between seriousness and humor very well.
so I've been watching true detective for a few episodes of season one, and its been great, but there are some stuff which 16 year olds like me wouldnt understand, and I get that it is supposed go be an adult show (ma15+ here in Aus), but sometimes I just don't understand what they are talking about. I can't find an example, but maybe its just that I don't know the 'advanced language'
There's a post about a week ago in this sub, talking about how many performers are already famous.
Last night one of the judges said "I know you already have a career in your country" and her video was not about "sad single mom from a different country with nothing to lose" anymore, it's all about her son.
Also redditors mentioned Courtney's dad couldn't wait to make money from his daughter's talent. Last night her video was basically showing she and her dad walking around, when she performed, camera pointed at her dad a lot.
So when I read Facebook was having a tv show, i was skeptical as any decent person would be.. it dropped its first 4 episodes today and it's actually pretty good. It's a half hour drama starring Elisabeth Olsen as a woman dealing with grief after her husband dies.
Elisabeth Olsen is putting in some of her best work. Kelly Marie tran and Janet Mcteer are also great as her sister and mother respectively ,and jovan adepo is phenomenal as the brother of her late husband..
Show has a good mix of drama while still embracing some of the awkward morbidity that comes with grief.
Visually it's not making any great leaps and innovations but its decent..
Tl;dr as much as It feels weird to recommend people go to Facebook to watch tv, it's actually a pretty good show and worth the time.
Is it just me or is this the worst starting lineup of new tv series in years?
To make matters worst many decent, but not great series were cancelled in 2018. Any idea wth is going on or am I just missing the list of awesome new shows starting this Fall?
Almost every episode is 3 fights and I’m wondering if anyone had actually had to go to the hospital. I doubt getting punched in the head multiple times is too good for your health.
If your SO is a male, have them go as a driver or commander. If your SO is female, have them go as an Aunt. So many great couples/family ideas.
