I am making a Donkey's Ear shooting plane, but I do not have any tools to make an accurate miter (and no one around me has a table saw). I'd like a ~24" with a 45 degree cut made down one of the long sides. I just need it more than 1 inch wide and 0.5 inches thick.
Something similar to whats in the attached imgur.

I am going to set up my new workshop. So I want to buy an electric planer at a reasonable price. I was reading planer reviews from various websites like: http://besttopreviewsonline.com/blog/10-best-planers/ Do you think these reviews are perfect? or if you have any more suggestion please share your opinions... Thank You in advance :)
I bought these on the recommendation of my brother who loves them, I opened the mesh one and tried it on and can already tell that I'm not going to be comfortable in them. I'll just stick with my 3M Respirator. Other than the one 2 minute test drive these are completely new.

I have up for sale OR trade a Rikon 60-105 Dust Collector. It's brand new and unopened. I'm happy to ship it anywhere in the continental U.S. - just pay for shipping. I'm also in the US-AZ-PHX area for a face to face meet up. I would trade for a band saw, drill press or thickness planer. These dust collectors go for $249 and are a new model from Rikon. Here is my CL posting for more information about the item.
I received the same book twice for Christmas and am either looking to sell for $18 shipped or trade for another woodworking book. It is brand new. I can upload pictures if anyone would like.
As the title says, I've got 2 table saw fences, 1 Delta T3 fence system that I'm not using anymore, and a Jetloc tube-fence with rails (off a PM66). Make an offer, or trade for handtools.
F2F only in the West-PDX area.
Stanley Bed Rock 605 Type 10 lack of stamp on iron indicates prior to 1936 production. Includes a Hock blade and chip breaker. Hock blade is gently rounded on corners to prevent digging into work. Original blade has a mild camber in it to help remove wood faster. This is a daily user that I am selling. Overall in good condition and everything works as intended. Included is an extra yoke. The front knob looks like it was damaged and glued together. Has not interfered in use of hand plane in the least. What looks to be a small casting defect on side of mouth but could easily be filed out. Please examine all pictures closely and if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. I am asking $250 with shipping. Any insurance is extra http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j174/hddriver1/Bed%20Rock%20Handplane/IMG_0833_1.jpg?t=1482201635 http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j174/hddriver1/Bed%20Rock%20Handplane/IMG_0832_1.jpg?t=1482201635 http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j174/hddriver1/Bed%20Rock%20Handplane/IMG_0831_1.jpg?t=1482201857 http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j174/hddriver1/Bed%20Rock%20Handplane/IMG_0828.jpg http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j174/hddriver1/Bed%20Rock%20Handplane/IMG_0827_1.jpg
It is ideal for drying various products from 1.5-5 cm thick wood and moisture content less than 25%. After drying, the moisture content of the product is about 8%. Applicable types of products include furniture, laminated flooring, solid wood flooring and much more. Installation provides effective solutions for the elimination of insects and other problems occurring during drying, such as cracks, deformation, incomplete drying, etc. All microwave drying process lasts for a very short time, less than 20 minutes.
This plant has a high drying speed. For example, a 60 kW installation requires 10-26 minutes to reduce the moisture content from 35-40% to 20% in the product timber 8-50 mm. Various processes have to be taken to increase the microwave power. Otherwise, a sharp increase in the internal temperature of the wood will lead to a jump in pressure, resulting in cracking.
During the traditional process of drying wood deform or crack due to uneven shrinkage of wood fiber after dehydration. Our specialized industrial microwave uses selective heating of the principle of promoting the uniform and thorough drying without hardened surface. The dried material retains the original shape and color. If too high a microwave power density in the drying process will take some amount of time for response in order to avoid cracking of the wood due to exceeding the permissible limits of evaporation of internal pressure.
Most of the eggs are in the common furniture beetle wood. When the larva from the egg appears, it will begin to eat the wood, thus damaging it. Our microwave installation uses microwaves to destroy the grinder and his eggs in the drying process. It is proved that using microwave energy at a frequency of 2450 MHz for heating the wood up to 70 ~ 80 ℃, you can kill all the pests in 3 minutes.
Each piece of wood contains different amounts of water. After drying the moisture content by conventional methods in different parts of the material is still not the same. Since the microwave drying process is different permeability and selectivity, it enables to equalize the moisture content at the beginning, middle and end of the material. Uniform water content minimizes the risk of cracks and deformation.
When using a microwave drying installation for wood is the recommended frequency of 915 MHz, and the microwave penetration depth 80 mm. Users can also choose to install a microwave frequency of 2450 MHz and the depth of penetration of more than 80 mm. 2450 MHz microwave dryer, usually used for various finished wood products.
For optimal results, please choose a suitable microwave dryer in accordance with the performance requirements of drying and type of wood.
This setting is suitable for microwave drying, antiseptic and disinfestation treatment in the wood industry. It can be used for drying wood furniture, kill insects and drying wooden planks for the floor.
