That's such an odd belief to have. I mean, I know some people believe some crazy things but generally there's a decent-sized group of like-minded stupid people. I don't know if I've ever heard of a modern-day person thinking that continents don't exist.

Yeah, she was baffled as to why I couldn’t drive to England from the US. I tried to explain but she just didn’t get it.

Please get this woman to take a vacation out of the country where she has to cross an ocean. Or at the very least take a road trip along either coast to see beaches and the ocean.

That might be counter productive. You could drive down the coast to the tip of South america and she would assume you were just driving around the edge of Pangea.
