I will keep this one up for the first couple months of BoA. Hopefully everyone finds someone to play with during launch!

Know those 1-3 minute cooldowns that most classes have? They usually increase damage or instantly heal you or do some other neat trick?
I hoard them.
I will literally hold on to that 2 minute cooldown all the way to the boss, where I will use it twice. Then I will think to myself, "man I should just pop this cooldown every time it's up."
Then I go right back to hoarding.
Returning vanilla WoW player. I do a lot of dungeons, trying out all roles (besides melee DPS, not my thing). I'm up to level 80 now and I keep noticing one common theme:
Everybody sprints through everything.
As a tank I can't even check the map or else DPS will run ahead and start pulling everything themselves. As an arcane mage I usually have to drink through the start of the fight and join halfway through. As a healer, tanks love to aggro an entire room and then continue running right out of LOS.
I know all the old content is easy and everybody is twinked out in heirlooms, but can we please slow down a hair, clear patrolling mobs before starting the boss, and let the tank pull?
I played WoW for a decade or so, from launch through Panderia. I played a little bit of Legion on a free weekend, but that's about it. I started back in the day as an Alliance Hunter, now I've gone with a Horde Druid.
BEcause of just some complications (Friends bought the game, I used my character boost misunderstanding what role was needed) I'm stuck playing a druid as DPS. I am NOT a fan of the Feral spec, so I'm trying to go boomkin.
I'm not sure if my DPS is up to par, but it sure doesn't feel like it. I'm pulling about 5k on the raid dungeon boss dummy in The Great Seal in Zandalar. I got some flack the other night while running a mythic (My first) for not pulling my weight damage wise. I unfortunately did not note that night where I fell in my damage, I just went to the training dummy and started fooling with talents and rotations.
I'm up to about 5-6k consistently on the dummy, but having been away for so long I'm still not sure if that's good or not. Any tips or advice from you guys out there?
I'm working on unlocking all allied races
I just unlocked legion flying finally, is there any reason to get exalted with any rep besides the ones tied to Allied Races?
Such as Wardens and Armies of Legionfall.
Hey everyone! I am trying out something new for a change, and honestly I have no idea what I am doing. I'd like to level from 110-120 with prot and AoE damage... primarily because its so new to me and I've never tanked a thing in my life. What to you all recommend as far as skills and rotations. Thank you!!
Hey guys, returning player here (haven't play for +10 years). I just dinged 120 and now I want to keep healing but I'm not sure how should I go about putting together a holy set and a ret set for questing.
Should I choose holy loot selection while questing, only in dungeons? Really no idea.
EDIT: One more question should I choose my azerite traits for holy or for ret?
Like my title says, this is the first time I've been back since WoTLK. So far so good. But, the server select doesn't make any sense.
First off, my highest character is on a server I don't remember playing on, not to that extent at least, and it's still sub 70. The servers I do remember playing on are either blank or not all the characters are there that I remember. Whatever, it's been a while. So, buddy and I pick a new server (we didn't know that servers don't mean much anymore at this point), shows 0 characters in the server window, bam, handful of characters, one of which in full brutal gladiator gear. I don't remember this character at all, much less I don't remember ever having a character with that gear. Whatever, I'll take it, I was going to make that character at some point anyways.
But here's my question, what happened to all of my other high level characters? I could have sworn there were half a dozen over 70, if not 80 and they don't show up anywhere, even on the armory. Is my only chance to go through each server and hope that it populates them there? I already checked the servers I used to play on and they're not there. I'm not too terribly worried if they were deleted or whatever, but I'd like to know for sure, I mean, I did put the majority of my high school years (depressingly in retrospect) into those characters and it'd be nice to have them for nostalgia sake.
Hey y'all. I'm seeing things about server firsts and dead servers lately, and I'm completely confused. From what I gather, server firsts are like special things that people have done first, like killed a world boss. But why are there people saying that if you want to get server firsts and be competitive, that you should be in a high capacity realm. There are also people in the same groups complaining about how their servers are no longer at high capacity when they were two years ago which makes me think that a.) your servers only get to do the special things that could be firsts if your server is super active, and b.) Blizzard may be pushing people to pay to switch servers so that they have to switch instead of integrate them.
Further, what should a new player like me do? Should I stop what I'm doing and get on a more crowded server before I get too high of a level?
So hit 344 item level now, and feeling kind of... Awkward, with how i'm gearing up. Mythic +2 seems to only give like 345 gear, which doesnt really help me at all, but when I try mythic +3, I seem to just get killed very quickly. It just seems very .. hard to gear up? Do I just have to wait a week for this mythic chest thing that gives me 350 gear to come through? Wait for warfronts to give me the weekly 370 chest?
Hey everyone I have a level 90 demonology warlock that I is equipped with heirlooms but my gear score is only 114. In order to run dreanor dungeons and raids my gear needs to be 117. I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to get my gear level up.
So far my journey has been pretty quite, i mean ive met people in dungeons but im looking for people to play through or help me through Bfa.... im still kinda new to wow and i have some questions about the game as i play through it.
I've tried some guilds but only ever like 5 people on which never talk :/
Anyone willing to add me to chat or to play along with
Battletag - Loftineer
I have a level 13 Tauren Paladin. I took mining and jewelcrafting as professions.
Whats the best way to increase mining and how can I move past copper ore?
How do I even start jewelcrafting? I cant figure it out.
Kind of lost on if there is a method/ order to how I should quest. Any advice?
I am sitting on like 45 silver. Is this even a useful amount in the auction house or not?
I tried searching a bit, but on this sub I only found a post that's a year old so I thought, since patches and stuff has come and gone since then, I might as well ask again to (hopefully) get an answer.
I am a level 79 Disc Priest, (started at level 1 a couple of weeks ago, bought heirlooms and such so it has been pretty fast leveling IMO). Anyhow at level 70 I started doing Dungeons. It has been going quite good I think. However, since a couple of days ago almost everyone in the Dungeon starts telling me I can't have this little mana after "only trash". I ask for Mana Breaks quite a lot (to drink to get mana back) but apparently I am doing something wrong.
I've watched and read some guides, and they say that I should use Atonement as my main healing source, but the tanks loses HP so fast that I must use Shadow Mend a lot (also I try to put in Penance and other spells in between ofc) but I never tend to have time unless I want my party to die.
So I understand the theory, I need to apply Power Word: Shield and then use the Atonement through Smite and Penance to heal my allies, but since it doesn't seem to help I get a bit frustrated.
For my EQ I use mainly Heirlooms (upgraded to 2/3) and else whatever I pick up in loots in Dungeons. I focus at Haste and Intellect.
So I wonder if I should try Holy Priest instead? I come from a background of playing healer in all sorts of games: FPS (Overwatch), MOBAs (mainly League of Legends).
Or is there anything that can help me getting more mana reg except for practicing?
Thanks a lot in advance. /LordHambre
I'm sitting at 356 item level rn and was anticipating a hotfix... Unfortunately I need to get carried in heroics and I simply can't progress further with Fury. That's why I'm temporarily switching to Arms. I see that the stat priority is quite a bit different, is this a big problem or not? Don't feel like starting over again.
Maybe it’s just me but it seems like the cast speed forward this back is very slow and clunky. Will it speed up once I hit 120? I assume stacking haste can improve and if so what would be the best way to stack haste as a freshly leveled toon?
I'm a prot pally and about to hit 120 soon. Was wondering if there was a guide or a rule of thumb I can use to know I'm ready for a raid?
Slightly related, is there anything I should do asap at 120? Or a similar guide saying "hey here's what you should do when you turn 120, either gives you massive items or gold or whatever"
Hello folks, I've recently been put in a situation that I'll have to lead again and I wonder how I can make it smoother and still be effective, I vaguely remember an addon to check food buffs/flasks, dbm obviously, but people mention raider.io scores, logs, simulations, raid sizes (2/3/9, 2/2/6), and I feel kind of lost with all of that, I would greatly appreciate if you guys could point me to the right direction, cheers!
I'm planning to make a new tank and brewmaster seems really strong, but I'm having trouble deciding on a race. Some people say the blood elf racial ability is really good, but I've also been looking into undead, since the leader of Method is using an undead brewmaster for mythic uldir. Undead's touch of the grave and will of the forsaken also seem quite useful for a tank. Which of these choices are better? Or is there another race that complements brewmaster well?
