I'd be very careful here. I've heard that Cisco can simply state that you are suspected of cheating (using brain-dumps) and revoke your cert and ban you from further certs.

I don't know if this is an urban legend or not, but most of us have put in too much time to risk that kind of exposure. Of course, that's just me.

Definitely not an urban legend, though it doesn't happen as often as it should.

Free, legit, AND can be relied on? Think about it: if there were any good ones, how would legit practice exam companies like Boson stay in business?

Congrats!

I failed today. I expected more NMAP / Hping and wireshark questions, these had 10 questions combined in total on my exam.

Honestly i thought i passed, some questions were weird. Like 2 right answers were there but i could only select one.

Also, lots of networking questions, route statements and how to allow/deny specific traffic (cisco ios).

Know your piggybacking, tailgating etc, also the bluetooth stuff snarfing etc etc.

Symmetric vs assymetric and why some solutions use both.

Not sure how to go on from here, i have studied the book, skillset but the exam was just different, new commands/questions (openssl client parameters?)

500 dollar for the reexam sucks, probably going for boson when their v10 version releases, anyone knows when it comes and if they accept payment without creditcard (im dutch and we dont really use them).

Edit: I scored 93 out of 125, which is little below 75%. Really wonder what the passing score is.

The v10 exam will not be available until October, so we will not have our practice exam product ready until after then.

I bought the Kindle version. We used it as a reference for our 2018 practice exam.

Hi, I was worried it might not be enough for CEHv10. When will it be updated? Also, if you have some source for Boson coupons, I'm going Boson all the way haha

According to EC-Council, the exam won't be updated until October, if I remember correctly. There's a lot of misinformation going around because 1.) EC-C doesn't include version numbers on their exams and 2.) their v10 study materials have been released.

So, as far as I know, the v9 content is still valid. People are still using our content and passing.

There's a 15% off coupon floating around on our Facebook page. :)

Congrats! Glad we could wake you up. ;)

you rang? :)

The 15% off Facebook code is all I know of. Marketing might as well be another world away from me - they rarely visit my end of the hall.

...probably because I keep the lights off. :D

Congrats!

As others have mentioned, everyone gets "provisionally passed". ISC2 checks exams for certain biometric and psychometric behaviors, and flags tests that are found to be suspicious. Most don't raise flags, and for those who aren't cheating, you have very little to be afraid of. I have yet to see somebody flagged for a false positive result...

Yeah, thanks for the confirmation and congrats. I already submitted the endorsement application, felt good knowing my result wasn't abnormal.

I think I'm going to keep studying for another few weeks for the CCSP as well, since it seems like there's some overlap and my brain is already in CISSP mode.

May your risks be low and your controls be strong!

Sounds like a great plan!

Absolutely!

I have to say the practice exams have been awesome. The explanations not only of the correct answer but also justifying why some answers are incorrect is what I am looking for for study prep.

I’m not deep into CCNP level work at my job, you definitely have given me some great reps at some problems I would have otherwise not seen.

Amazing product!

Our pleasure. :)
