I really hate Trump, but this is a completely unverified quote. Doing 5 minutes of research it seems like he may have said it but he also may not have.

That sucks. My LGS in Regina sells for $4.50 a pack.

The trade off is having to live in Regina.

Regina is fine.

I believe that's their tourism motto.

"Come to Regina, it's just fine."

It’s like a.... well you know “meritocracy”? Is there like, an opposite?

Merdeocracy

No because partisan media has become all or nothing. Fox news doesnt give democrats any credit, "far left" media like YT doesn't give the republicans any credit. At the expense of their own political party. It's a ratings game more than honest reporting. If non-partisan or more middle media was critical on bipartisan actions, that would be telling.

Can you tell me something republicans deserve credit for?

Proposing/inventing what came to be Obamacare ...in the 90s?

And doing everything in their power to roll it back? And literally no one likes Obamacare. The right attacks it because it's a win for the left, and the left hates it because it's too right wing.

This is one hell of an accurate answer...

It leaves out Clinton running a historically terrible campaign and ignoring important swing states. I absolutely despise Donald Trump, but Clinton shouldn't be given a pass on her bullshit campaign. Hell she's still out there saying dumb shit like how she won in the states that matter.

So I saw this in /r/rising and just wanted to pop in to see if anyone has the original? I want to send it to a friend because it would make her uncomfortable.

Thanks a lot!

Title VII doesn't cover sexual orientation. Is there anything else? I was expecting more since apparently there's a "barrage of policies."

I mean, that's literally what he said. Did you read his comment? He is saying that they opposed extending Title VII to sexual orientation.

If you think Hillary will be running again, you may need to take a break from reading conservative media. She is very disliked among moderates and independents and the Democratic party has probably recognized this. You're much more likely to see someone like Booker, Biden, or Gillibrand

Hell I'd even go as far as to say Gabbard is more likely to run than Clinton in 2020. And this isn't to say I think Gabbard will run in 2020 (though I do think she'll run in 2032 or 2036), but it's just absurd to think Clinton will run in 2020.

I play ARAM because I'm drunk but still want to play League. I'm queued for aram right now, which is why I posted this dumb question.

Do you believe that the South Korean president really believes that officially lying about that Trump deserves the Nobel Peace prize was the best strategy in his eyes?

I don't believe anything at this stage. I just acknowledge that we don't have all the information, and that there needs to be time to evaluate it. Experts are in disagreement about Trump's role in the situation, and I openly admitted that I am undecided on the issue. My point is that Trump will never win me over, no matter how great his role was.

Sure, I agree with that no matter how well Trump does internationally, one can think that his methods or his domestic policies are bad in comparison to alternative candidates and therefore not vote for him.

That's really all my point is. That just because he gets a win on one front doesn't change all the monstrous things he says or does. I'm not saying he shouldn't be given credit if he really did have a large role to play, I'm just saying it doesn't change anything and that I'm not convinced he really did play a positive role.

Haha I'm constantly aware of that.

That's not what rape is. Rape isnt "well the sex wasn't as tender as I was used to". She may call it "rape", but the entire reason she clarifies is because it literally is not rape in the actual criminal and legal definition of the word.

Except she literally said he forced himself on her, which is rape.

No she didn't.

In Hurt’s account, Trump was furious that a “scalp reduction” operation he’d undergone to eliminate a bald spot had been unexpectedly painful. Ivana had recommended the plastic surgeon. In retaliation, Hurt wrote, Trump yanked out a handful of his wife’s hair, and then forced himself on her sexually. Afterward, according to the book, she spent the night locked in a bedroom, crying; in the morning, Trump asked her, “with menacing casualness, ‘Does it hurt?’”

Hurt held on to his copy of Ivana’s sealed deposition for years. “It was sworn testimony,” he said. But eventually, when he was cleaning house during his own divorce, he said, “I threw it all out.” He went on, “The larger tragedy is that Trump might be elected President of the United States. I never imagined in my wildest nightmares that it would come to this.”

Her sworn testimony under oath said he did.

Again, this is a society issue. You’re more likely to be assaulted or killed by someone you know than the police. The majority of police shootings where the offender dies are justifiable. I highly doubt any police officer wants to be put in a tramactic situation where they have to shoot someone. Until the mental health/ drug crisis is addressed on a national level, officers in the US will continue to be put in these high intensity situations. Unfortunately, the outcome may result in the loss of life.

Sounds like a good reason to ignore the fact that the United States is far out of line with the norm in the developed world, hey?

As a SOCIETY we need to come together and change. Police are doing their part by reviewing/changing use of force policies, implementing deescaltion training and promoting community relations.Body cameras are being issued and worn, yet people are still acting out of control. I’m not sure what this developed nation wants the police do next. I can assure you they’re not the ones ignoring this violence problem in our country.

Sure is, just antithetical.

I'm a human. What are you ?

A human who believes in equality of opportunity for all people, so politically I identify as a liberal because that is the ideology that matches my own. Now why do you identify with your political ideology?

Thats sounds nice in an idealistic sense but what does equality of opportunity mean exactly to you ? How does one implement such a strategy ...Force? Voluntarily ? We both know that these 2 strategys have been tried extensively in the 20th century with disastrous and deadly results....

You realize that equality of opportunity is not the same thing as equality of outcome, right? Equality of opportunity means everyone has the same advantages, not that everyone ends up in the same place. That would be communism, and communism is wrong.

Seriously, why is the subreddit called political humor when it only liberal humor? I actually want to know? Is it because reddit is mostly liberal or what?

No it's because the Republicans have the House, Senate, and Presidency. If you're mocking politics in the United States you're mocking one of those three institutions and all three of them are held by the same party.

I used to love Melissa Joan Hart so much. I hope she is still sane, but all I know about her lately is that she appeared in Gods Not Dead, which is literal propaganda.

There's no logical reason why dates should be ordered in the length of time the respective numbers are representing. It's a nonsense argument.
