This will be contentious as the post itself is NSFW. Here goes....risque content is allowed with a NSFW tag; however outright nudity or porn is not, and is a banable offense. The bans handed out so far will be reversed, but the post is being locked to prevent further violations.

However, I will direct you all to rule 6:

No witch-hunts or brigading in posts or comments. Do not encourage any online or real-life harassment, and don't encourage people to downvote other posts/comments.

This includes trying to rile people up over another reddit user's activities. There are always many sides to everything, and we've seen reddit go after the wrong person many times.

As nearly half the comments in this thread were in violation of rule 6, this thread is locked.

There is no way in reddit to mark a comment as NSFW without typing it in directly. With submissions you can set your reddit preferences to filter out nsfw submissions. You cannot do that with comments.

The reason we are discussing that is because linking to nsfw subreddits has a gated entry to subreddits that are marked nsfw, whereas linking to a nsfw gif has no warning.

Edit: pornhub also has no warning, so that isn't analogous.

No. Unless it falls under hate speech, it is fine.

Rule 9. No hate speech of any kind in posts or comments. Racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise abusive submissions or comments will result in an immediate ban.

Making fun of or belittling any person or people based on race, sex, gender, sexual preference, disability, or other characteristics is likely to get you banned. Language that goes past the standard "internet tough guy" banter may result in a removal or ban, depending on the severity.

Risqué posts (girls in bikinis, for instance) are fine as long as it's tagged as NSFW and isn't overtly sexual. Porn, gore, nudity, and sex acts are bannable offenses in posts or comments. Anything causing grievous bodily harm or death is considered gore, even if there's no gore shown.
