...since they just posted the Filthy Woman poster.

Whoa, I just went back and looked and you're right. I didn't realize that the official AMC reddit account posted that until just now. So yeah, your last sentence is probably really sound.

What would they do about it right now anyway? The season has been written, filmed and has been completed, and in the can for many months now. They can't go back and change anything now, it would only affect next seasons we have no idea if that's being written already or not.

You know, in all the years that I've heard Olive Garden mentioned I've never really figured out what kind of food they serve there; like is it Greek? Italian?

It's an Italian Denny's. Tasty and filling but nothing special.

I fucking loathe that shit. Don't tell anyone what to do with their face, if I want to look miserable that's my perogative.

And whether or not I look "pretty" with my current facial expression is IRRELEVANT. My physical appearance is completely irrelevant.

I don't know the background or context, so bare with me, in case it changes the statements, but how does telling a woman to smile on a movie-poster make one a misogynist?

Edit: followup question: would it be misandristic to tell a man to smile on a movie-poster?

EVERYTHING about her makeup is awful. The colors, the placement, the blending, EVERYTHING. She accidentally left the makeup rifle set to "CLOWN WHORE".

But what do you do when there is a monumental freak out? And I'm saying this as a woman. I've been ghosted and yeah it hurts but I've also sent the casual "this isn't going to work" text and been mercilessly bullied by grown men for it. I mean really, you can crave and desire closure all you want but telling people they should take that risk because of it isn't fair. A handful of people have ruined that closure for the rest of us, which sucks. But I'm not going to go out of my way to play Russian roulette to save everyone's feelings.

I still try to send a text but I no longer give out my number, only things I can block them on, so I can send it and block them immediately. Even if we went on a few dates. After that first freak out, it just became not worth it to me. No matter how annoyed anyone else is.

THANK YOU. I only have to be called a dumb, ugly cunt about six times before I decide to just ghost intead. This post is really naive and idealistic, but totally unrealistic. Because a lot of people just cannot take rejection of any kind and lash out with violent threats.

Maybe it was an conscious decision to not showcase their sexlife. For any number of reasons.

Specifically this reason: They can't make it all lovey dovey because that would make Breaking Bad's Saul look callous and insensitive, so they have no choice but to portray Kim as one of the most asexual female characters in TV.

This is the reason Saul doesn't miss her, happily flirting with Francesca and others.

You seem to be fixated on her perceived asexuality. That's YOUR impression and opinion. I find her exceedingly sexy but I don't have to see them having sex to see her as a sexual being. Maybe you do. But keep in mind that this is your assessment, not anyone else's or any kind of character trait by the writers.

It must be a generational thing. I had a brief time with online dating quite a few years ago when I was single, and if I was chatting to someone and they didn't want to meet up after a couple of days chatting then I lost interest. None of this sending pics BS. I guess a lot more of our lives are online now and so its more accepted, but I never understand people who have online relationships for this long an dont lose interest??

It's not generational and it's not a recent thing. Just because YOU think you're smart enough to avoid it, doesn't mean others aren't smart if it happens to them. Everyone is different, lots of peolple are lonely and insecure and WANT to believe that someone could love them. You're very condescending and victim blaming here. I'm really glad you're too smart to ever get scammed, but never say never. And have some compassion for people who aren't exactly like YOU, Mr. Perfect apparently.

Food particles around your teeth will start ROTTNG within 24 hours of eating it. That ROT causes acids and enzymes to form that attack teeth and enamel. So if you do not floss the particles out from between the teeth, they will start decaying just like all food rots over time, except this is in your mouth. You must have lovely breath.

I have the same one, as others have suggested, it's for perfume. Just because everyone's seen Cruel Intentions doesn't mean it's a cocaine necklace, jesus. Perfume holder necklaces were INCREDIBLY popular back in the day, however cocaine necklaces were not.

Oh, thanks! I was afraid of overwatering, but will change the watering regime asap!

Feel how heavy the pot feels right before you water it when it's bone dry and then feel it again after you water it and it's drained. You'll feel a significant difference in the weight. So next time you're wondering if it's time to water, pick it up and give it a feel. Eventually you'll be able to tell if it needs water just by picking it up. Of course you always want to look at the soil and even feel it by sticking your finger down an inch or two, but it's a really helpful way to quickly determine how dry it is. Good luck!!

There were some good shots in this last episode, but the context of how and why they were there were horrible.

Edit: Yes it still had a shitty grey filter but the dynamic of the camera shot was what was nice.

This season just feels like they are plodding along, so slowly. Each episode is in another location, but its only like a few feet from where they were last week. It's like it's so painfully slow that it feels like nothing is happening. I'm pretty damned bored. Feels like a Gimple pimple show all over again

Do you have any tips for your jade. Mine shrivels and drops leaves if I water it. It shrivels and drops leaves if I don’t water it. It doesn’t like the sun, it doesn’t like the shade...

What do you want from me!?

Jades LOVE bright sun, but if the plant is not accustomed to being in bright, direct light, you have to gradually introduce it, gradually increase the amount of light or it will be shocked and burn. Houseplants need time to acclimate to surroundings and once they become accustomed to their environment, you cannot make sudden, drastic changes without it negatively affecting the plant. All changes must be gradual.

I have one (used ot be 2) out in my yard. I love the dappled look. I didnt know it was a good house plant. How do you grow it inside?

In a pot.

In spring time, take a cutting of new growth. Root it in either water or moist soil and pot it up. It might need some rooting hormone to coax the cutting to produce roots, but that's about it.

I actually DID give a SUPER witty and articulate response to a woman in Walmart who assumed she could make a racist comment to me because I was also white and I SHUT. HER. DOWN. But I never told anyone about it.

Some type of fungal leaf spot. They're unsightly but rarely cause lasting damage to the tree. Particularly common in wet years like this has been in most places.

It's far too late in the season to do anything about it this year though. Infection occurs in the spring but you don't see the damage until later. Best practice is preventing it from happening again next year.

Clean up all the fallen leaves this autumn and dispose of them, as that is where most of these fungi overwinter. And a treatment of general-purpose fungicide when the tree is just starting to leaf wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks, trying to figure out why OP completely ignored your good advice and only responded to the one below saying basically the same thing minus guessing the name of the fungi. Well, I appreciate your input anyway!!! Its so hard to get people to be helpful on this sub I hate to see good advice ignored. Have a great day!!

I can’t tell too well from the photo, but if your potting soil has perlite in it then it could be that. I’ve noticed that sometimes the perlite in my succulent planters turns a yellow/orange after I water.

4 points · 7 days ago

I see a couple of dots that could be perlite but the whiter, crusty stuff on the right is hard water deposits

7 points · 7 days ago

It could be minerals from hard water if you use tap water on the plants. Hard water mineral deposits will accumulate on the surface of the soil and it's not really harmful. It is a good idea to scrape it away and replace with new soil, if needed, once In a while if you don't like how it looks or it builds up a lot. Sometimes the salts will build up and can effect certain plants but for the most part it's not a big deal and very common

Even better, water your plant more often?

3 points · 8 days ago

Considering the fact that they're in pots with no drainage, watering more would be a death sentence. Unless the plants are in liner pots with holes inside the hanging pots and are removed prior to watering to allow drainage, they will drown in even more water.

Original Poster2 points · 8 days ago

The plants are in cover pots. I think they’re sufficiently watered though. I actually got the plant from nursery in this state (bare in the middle). I think what I’ve been doing so far has been fine since the bottom leaves we’re growing out rather well.

I just couldn’t bare to prune them off. Kinda hoping that leaves would magically sprout out mid stem again

2 points · 7 days ago · edited 7 days ago

A "cover pot" is, I assume, what I described? You have liner pots inside them with holes? Good

I have no opinion on their moisture level as I cannot see the soil. However, they've obviously NOT been doing well since all the lower leaves have dropped off... I know pruning feels counter-intuitive but I PROMISE YOU. It's one of the best things you can do for certain plants. It really helps improve how they look and their overall health. Unfortunately, leaves will not regrow on a vine if they fell off due to stress. Your best bet is to prune the vines back and wait for new ones to grow. Save the stems you cut, root them in water and make all new plants, three are better than one!!

Probably not 100%.

See how alcohol and cigarettes are referred to as coping mechanisms here?

I'm talking about his choices of coping methods that are causing more problems like the study says. Yes trauma is the root of it, but we as adults can choose healthy or unhealthy coping methods. The unhealthy choices leading to even more problems is what is clearly displayed in this guy's example.

The study also talks about the lifelong impact of childhood experiences, which one does not choose.

2 points · 7 days ago

Well I wasn't commenting on that part. As much as YOU want to discuss that, other posters have responded to your request for proof that one can live a good life after such trauma and I agree. You can't change the past but you have FULL CONTROL over your future. Choose to be happy (take the path to happiness, seek positive coping methods) or chose to let your abusers win by allowing their abuse to ruin your life. Up to you. I, for one, refuse to let them have even one more second of my life. I'm doing great, fuck them.

I've never been able to get it to work. I have Xfinity internet but no cable so maybe that's the problem. But if I had cable why would I need this? Each time I've clicked on the Xfinity app on Roku, there's nothing there, no shows listed, each category says something like "no listings found" or whatever. Its totally empty. Maybe someone could confirm that it's because I don't have cable TV in my package?
