This is great. Interesting that Germany is mostly on the Android Operating System and not Win10 likes its neighbors (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Czechia)...

I would assume much more similarities between Germany and Austria rather than any of the other counties since they share a lot of language and culture. Similar thing with Switzerland but they happen to be an anamoly here.

Yes Germany and Austria are both mostly operating on an Android system according to this graphic. My comment was to point out that in Europe, there is a variety of usage even though the countries are not very far from each other geographically speaking.

thank you for the feedback! we fixed it :)

Would it be possible to add a filter to display according to tech stack? It would be great to see where companies related to your skillset are.

Hey! You can filter by technology on the left sidebar (although selecting multiple technologies is not possible at the moment)

Lots of companies missing. Also, where can we interact with this? If I want to see all companies that work in Python or C++, or whatever? I'd like to be able to actually interact with this myself.

Hey Labello, who in particular is missing for you? And this is our MVP! Hopefully we will have some interactivity in next editions :)

31% of startups in Germany are located in Berlin, compared to 11% in Munich. So, why choose Munich over Berlin as a software developer?

We mapped 200 tech companies in Munich (both startups and corporates) by industry and programming language and talked with locals there. One reason we found for choosing Munich was that wages are higher than in Berlin (but so is the cost of living), a second reason is more outdoor lifestyle. But the third, and most compelling, reason we found was the broader choice in types of companies and industries for developers to work for. To find out more: http://blog.honeypot.io/munich-tech-map/
