Agreed that it’s concerning that so many residential places are for sale/rent in the neighborhood. I personally think that the transition from so many clubs/bars has made this a much improved place to live, and would have thought that it would have correlated to a tighter real estate market. There was always a disconnect between the clubs and residents, so to me the fact that many of the establishments couldn’t cut it (or closed bcs of Banks, OTR) was a non-event. Yesterday’s and B&G are pretty great though, perhaps all that the neighborhood needs/can support.

I went to Hudepohl downtown. Barry helped me find the perfect diamond in my price range and just the band I wanted. Mi fiancé and I couldn’t be happier with the service.

Hudepohl for sure. Barry is great.

Will be arriving in Munich on a Sunday afternoon on the tail end of a trip and flying out of MUC 3 days later on that Wednesday. Without being overwhelmed with too much travel, would you stay in Munich for 3 days or split time (and staying nights) in nearby towns? Thanks!

Add: if anyone has any recommendations for areas of town to stay, I’d appreciate it. Vibrant/local more than CBD (eg Brooklyn instead of Midtown)

Really wish INHAILER radio would organize, use bar venues in OTR (as it was) and just have local/regional bands at this point.

Any recommendations on natural styling products that actually provide medium to firm hold and aren't a total nightmare for scalp health? I've tried MiN and Aveda fibers in the past that were meh, so the search continues...

Have been running in what are now ~2 yr old Nike flyknit lunar 3 that are now in need of replacing. Looks like they discontinued the model, there isn't a "4", so didn't know if anyone on here had an idea of what model (if any) replaced them?

Taking my nephew to his first game on Sunday to take in the mediocrity and to set him down a path of lifelong disappointment. Before him getting exposed to the drunkenness, fights in the stands, etc., does anyone know if the players sign autographs or anything for kids/fans that arrive early during warmups? Thanks!

Any online or in-town shops selling unique design Grizz 50/50 blend shirts? Can't stand the boxy adidas and now nike shirts.

So I was given a really great road bike frame, but have no idea how to reasonably source average-to-high quality components and to put everything together. Any recommendations on someone or a shop with this expertise?

Used to be my favorite weekend in the city. It didn't matter how unknown or obscure most of the bands were, especially in early years when there really were no headliners of note, the experience of going from venue to venue was unique. What a fail.

Amazon's about to eat their lunch and they open a restaurant?

The thought here being that they've been so focused on standing the restaurant concept up (and actually deploying any senior manpower on the effort) as a way to thwart Amazon, that they aren't actually focused on the increased competition? Seems reasonable.

So in the last few weeks we've had Grainworks, Taft's Production, and 16 Lots open up. I am also pretty sure that Little Miami will open this fall too. Business is booming, it seems.

Nice that the burbs are getting their share now, but I'm really surprised another brewery or at least a small production tap room hasn't popped up in otr. The latter, if south of Liberty would kill it.
