British people are low iq monkeys by EuropeWatch in badunitedkingdom

Lol what? Some of the descendants of Chinese Liverpudlians run this country and made it right to the top. You're nuts.

Lenovo banned bootloader unlocking after LineageOS release by 98432uhefbdfir in LineageOS

[–]Juicy_K_Girl 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Lenovo got caught preloading malware on their laptops that spied on you and sent the info back to China.

Even worse it operated on a bios level so even if you wiped the computer and reinstalled windows it kept on spying.

When caught Lenovo initially doubled down and kept on doing it. It's terrible because Lenovo laptops are mostly business machines so presumably they were spying on behalf of the Chinese government, to copy Western IP.

Polish deputy finance minister: Euro in Poland yes, but not yet by Xingar in europe

[–]Juicy_K_Girl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Stable and strong isn't necessarily good for a country like Poland though. If you look at the US, some states are perpetually successful whilst others perpetually poorer, that's what having a unified currency and economic policy does. Poland will forever be a fourth wheel with no control over its future if it doesn't maintain an independent currency.

That's simply not true, Finland is in the EU and all companies including financial transfer services have to comply with EU money laundering regulations, which include sharing information with outside tax agencies in third party states such as the US and China.

LOL what? This is my home Barcelona.

The Mossos police car even passing in the background 😂

I saw someone filming a full on three girl lesbian gangbang on the beach in the family area last weekend at Poblenou, and the police didn't do anything... crazy because they're usually so strict here.

Almost all sports cars are moving over to tiptronic automatic transmissions, I think it's to comply with eco regulations.

In Search of Affordable Housing, Barcelona Turns to Repossessed Homes by slavoj_vivek in Barcelona

Simple supply / demand economics problem, Barcelona could have plenty of cheap easily available housing if planning laws were reformed.

Speaking Spanish as a tourist? by Pixelswtf in Barcelona

[–]Juicy_K_Girl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happens to me a lot, especially in rural Catalunya or anywhere outside Barcelona really. I'm from Gibraltar and speak with a Llanito accent, but most Spanish people just think I'm a British immigrant from the Costa del Sol. They're usually shocked when I ignore their attempts to reply in English or give me menus in English and I insist on Català / Castello.

Interestingly most alcohol related crime in Barcelona is committed by French tourists. I think locals see a badly behaved pale-skinned drunk group and automatically assume "Brits!". After France it's various North African demographics (with some cross-over, AKA French Moroccans), and then Dutch tourists.

Also something like 80% of prisoners in Catalan prisons are foreign, crazy hey?

Free outdoor workout areas? by _Anton__ in Barcelona

The best area I've seen is the open outdoor gym at Poblenou around Platja de la Nova Mar Bella, it's massive with further equipment stretched along the beach. Also a nice level 10k run along the esplanade.

There's one that's always empty and in good condition right next to the zoo along the train line.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, it's how the game works so as a man you should manipulate it to your advantage. Stuff like increasing your perceived SMV means you can get easily 9/10 and 10/10 girls without actually being that wealthy or successful, and they'll be bessoted with you.

If the whole game is fake then you don't actually have to provide real value, just perceived value, and the person will be happier than ever. It's how companies like Apple work too.

No need for a water tax, California's drought could easily be resolved by just making people and companies pay the actual market value that it costs to extract, process, transport and store that water.

I remember reading about Tories collapsing the NHS in the 1970's, yet here we are in 2018 with the NHS bigger, providing even more services and receiving even more funding, even as a percentage of GDP and per capita, than back then.
