I am excited to see him back in the octagon. But this sentencing is such bs compared to other USADA suspensions...

Berserk progression tells us hes only midway through arc 2, maybe just even starting, so expect to see LHW Dustin by mid Arc 3

He acquired the Berserker Armor of Gaethje

Hey guys, hope questions like this are allowed on here.

I´ve basically narrowed it down to those two guys, I really enjoy their playing style but would like to concentrate on one to really get acustomed to the games mechanics.

I heard that both are in a good place right now. And I don´t need care for a Flavor of the Month pick. I would just like a hero that is fun and good for learning the game. (And maybe not hated by my teammates) And as a last note, who looks more badass with high end gear?

Thanks so much.

His defensive stance (DS) is pretty shit tbh, so most of his playstyle is about using offensive stance (OS). But everyone knows this and will try to hit you out of OS the moment you go into it.

You have to learn to dodge everything in the game, lights, heavies, combos, feint follow ups, etc. You have to learn when to use your punishes. You have to have to control the range.

And all that's without even starting to use his mixups.

Punishes, you'll get a light on any dodged attack and a kick on combo finishers/high punish moves (like shield bash). But you need to be close to light, which puts you at GB range. The OS heavy range is about twice the length of the DS and you have to know your range, your opponents and where exactly you wanna be in any given situation,

Use the OS heavy soft feints or feint to neutral more than the kick to toss feint, they're less susceptible to interrupts.

Other than that you just gotta practice and get accustomed to him. Once you'll out of OS people will try to pressure you so you need to find creative ways to get back there, (celtic curse soft feint, light fast flow into OS) but if you use the same one repeatedly you'll get punished for it, so even getting to your optimal position requires mind games.

Thanks for this very detailed response!

that does sound a bit concerning. But maybe it´s a good way to learn the game? To really get reactionary to eveything and reading enemies.

I don't think so tbh, he's incredibly powerful and has arguably the highest skill cap in the game, but a very unique playstyle.

Kensei is the better pick because he has a large, complex moveset that you'll need to play around with to find out what works best in different situations. If you're still learning things like feint mixups, Kensei's the best way to go, his soft feint based moveset forces you to learn how to make mixups work. While no other heroes has that many built in soft feints, it'll teach you to emulate it with hard feints and help you think creatively when using less structured moves to open your opponent (like finding creative ways to use Highlanders OS heavy).

Again, don't completely ignore Highlander, but if you think of yourself as still learning the game, I don't think he's the best starting place.

Thanks! You are propably right. So Kensei it is, to learn all the intricacies the game has to offer!

We´ve had two solid fights so far. This is really depressing.

Still super happy for Nasrat, hope he gained some fans tonight.

"Brian Ortega was never my friend." - Mrs. Ortega

So I´ve played BF1 when it came out, absolutely loved the gameplay, but got bored by a lack of weapons and things to unlock. (I was spoiled by BF4 with so much stuff to unlock)

I am someone who loves to grind towards weapons. So I would like to know, if BF1 has a good grinding loop now, to keep me busy untill BF5? (I haven´t touched any DLC yet, but am ready to buy it)

Thanks a lot guys!

I think there's more than enough to work on until BF V:

  • DLC and level 10 weapon assignments
  • Specialization assignments
  • Dog tag assignments
  • Getting all classes to rank 50 and overall rank to 150
  • Codex entries
  • Medals

Beyond that, you can do whatever optional things like getting a service star (100 kills) with every weapon.

Thanks, thats a really great list of things to do!

I agree that the weapon grinds aren’t very difficult, however the assignments are a great way to grind. They put you into some very different scenarios throughout the entire way. It’s pretty medium skill level until you get to the harder “afflictions” and that’s where the real fun is. Enjoy!

I´ll keep an eye out for the assignments, just bought the season pass. Thanks

I read some of the comments people left on Durmaz´s Instagram and it was simply disgusting.. A mixture of racial name calling and death threats. He doesn´t deserve this.

At the beginning of the game you are able to choose a starting weapon (after intro mission). Try to pick the Odachi and see what happens

Are the Odachi and Tonfa available to you? If so the DLC´s were included in the DLC

That was a pretty great stoppage

I bought the season pass yesterday and want to main the Odachi on a new playthrough. But I am a bit unsure what weapon works best with it, regarding playstyle and attributes I have to but points into.

I am going to propably wear heavy armor.

Thanks for the input!

The stats match katana best, though the handling of it may be better suited for dual-katana.

Odachi uses strength (B+), heart (C+), and stamina (D+). Knowing that katana is heart (B+), skill (C+), and strength (D+), and that duals are the same as katana only with skill and heart flipped... those are the best matches. Though you could use it with a spear, but don't use it with an axe as they are both heavy and slow.

Maybe kigetsu and master swordsman together for odachi and duals... that's likely what i would do...

Thanks so much! That is really good to know.

I´ve heard Ki-Pulse is really important to use the Odachi effectively. So dual-Katanas would be quite good.

Is it in any form viable to play dual-K´s with heavy armor?

Yes. In fact, master swordsman armor comes from the duals dojo master and is heavy armor. The 4 piece bonus does what any 4 piece does, except that instead of a 3 piece bonus, the 4 piece also gives +30% sign of the cross damage (alingside the standard 10% CCD.)

I've gotta get back to work, but check out master swordsman (duals set) and kigetsu (odachi set) in this list:

Wonderboy vs Rory was a great fight. Rory couldn't get on the inside because of Thompson's outside game

The first time I watched it I hated it so much. But that was because I was rooting hard for Rory.

It reminded me of the way Rory took all of Woodleys tools in their fight. Wonderboy just dismantled Rory.

I really want him to acknowledge that seeing her is a mental health issue, or have someone realize he’s talking to a hallucination.
