But kronos scripting makes raids easier than normal. Its not that satisfying blazing thru content. And they ban redditors who disagree with them. Meh
That's not "scripting". Lights hope increased armor/hp/damage of bosses to make them harder.
Kronos strives for "blizzlike" values on bosses

Population is very healthy. Lots of people leveling and dozens of guilds raiding end game
51, forgot to count yourself
orc master race
You act like manually hitting decurse
and selecting a target is hard.
Have you been in PuGs? People still like to click their abilities, ffs. To them, picking a target is god-tier of gaming prowess.
anyone who knows enough to get decursive will easily be able to decurse in a 5 man without it. the idiots who dont remove debuffs wouldnt be using decursive
Buff the NPCs. Make the games last days!
healers will be great if you want to cheese it by AOE farming. if its a druid you also have a buddy who can tank or heal in your dungeon groups.
my personal choice would be a mage though. free water and portals. most of the best gear you get will come via tailoring anyway
How much harder would it to find a raiding guild/spot as a human Priest compared to dwarf?
That depends on how good you are at healing
You mean a knee-jerk reaction had unintended consequences down the line? Color me shocked.
to the contrary, this is a good thing if it causes less level 1-59 people to play AV
As a Horde player, I don't care who is in AV as long as it fires and meets the minimum player requirements.
I hope you get tons of low level players then ;)
taking on 3 people is not easy. if you have a class with CC it makes a 2v1 more realistic
I’ll take Vanilla with no changes for 800, Alex.
that doesnt make any sense. vanilla changed constantly due to flaws. dont get me wrong, i dont want them to make changes to non viable specs.
but to say no changes means what? they should launch the game with the same flaws as they did in retail? no diminishing returns? constantly change the talents with updates?
Giving paladins no viable endgame PvE role except wearing a dress and spamming twinkly lights up the back is perfect game design. I just don't see any way you can improve on that.
go play bfa if you want that
How bad are the queues?
if your que on alliance takes more than a minute it seems long
If you level a character during a server start you can afford to buy bags / cloth / whatever out of the AH. but if you join an established server then the prices are usually too high for newcomers.
Basically the more gold there is -> the less value it has -> the higher the prices. But mobs always grant the same amount, so people only playing occasionally will be worse off.
Sure the fixed costs will play a smaller and smaller part in the overall economy of a server. But in the grant scheme they are either neglectable (repair, reagents) or only one-time (mount).
Edit: Raid-buffs usually cost more gold on a more progressed server, because there is more money in the pool. Adding extra gold via extremly powerful farming methods only speeds it up. If that is good/bad/neither is up for discussion
when the bag costs go up because its an older server, the price of mid level items you obtain from leveling also increases in value.
herbs and minerals that level 60s use increase in value greatly. many of the 60s dont want to be bothered to farm these items they still need.
I never said I wanted the hybrid specs to stay terrible. I'm all for Blizz making balance changes to Vanilla in 1.13 onward because as someone who mained Balance for most of his raiding career I want to be brought to AQ40 without raid leaders like you getting Mage envy. You're an idiot if you think a good raid comp is stacking pure DPS and warriors for damage dealing when the content doesn't necessitate it. It really doesn't.
My point is that you shouldn't disregard the hybrid DPS specs in 1.12 progression raiding as they sit now just because they're lower numbers than the pures.
And why would you have a "holly" priest spec into shadow weaving when you can just bring a talented shadow priest instead of a shitty healer? The healer gives up too many talent to get to SW. Now who's feeling entitled to facts?
The talented shadow priest will still do terrible DPS so many raids would rather have one of their healers apply the debuff. They will then use the spriest spot for a class that actually deals some damage.
Ok, so that's what you want. But the way the game works, you need at least a couple hybrids.
I can tell you your min/max mages would definitely rather have a boomkin than another mage because of crit aura. Ditto for warlocks and a shadow priest.
Have fun telling your 15th warrior who just wants to play fury like all the rest of them because he heard they scale the best that he has to be the nightfall bitch because you won't let a ret pally, enhancement shaman, or survival hunter into your raid who can use it without feeling the DPS loss as much.
Not having those hybrid raid buffs means your min/maxer DPS won't work at their top potential and they'll be looking to jump to another guild that leverages hybrids appropriately. If you're trying to attract the meter-topping DPS you say you are, you're looking for people who want to make top parses. Top parses need a correctly assembled raid group, for which you're not going to have the ingredients.
Oh, and it'll take you a year to gear your raid appropriately because everyone's competing for the same gear.
Not to mention the content isn't difficult enough to warrant this type of raid stacking in the first place. But no, I'm sure your raid group won't crumble under the weight of your own ego. You'll be fine.
The boomkin buff is not worth it. Your raid's DPS will be higher with another mage.
Raids will want shadow weaving if 16 debuff slots are available but often raids will just have one of their healing priests spec for it. Since spriest dps is terrible they rather have a sub par healer who weaves in the debuff
Step 1, go to starting zone.
Step 2, /y I am giving away free gold!
Step 3, summon infernal, break your control over it and banish
Step 4, lols
I do too until the first BoF turns a whole BG arround. instant regret
not using your felhunter? get a shaman to purge that shit :)
This is terrible advice to give. There is already an issue present where most PvE players default to rolling on alliance.
There is no reason to perpetuate the misconception that horde don't do well in PvE.
If you like horde, and you want to play horde. Then play horde. You won't have any issues. Especially so if you're looking for a hardcore guild.
If you're 11 years old, you can't communicate with other people and you don't know what a raid is; then maybe it'll be easier to get into a raid on alliance side. But otherwise, do what you want and not what people tell you.
if someone is asking for advice on which faction to play if he wants to focus on PvE, then the answer is alliance. its a fact they have it much easier in PvE
To finish AQ40. We had just started AQ40 when Naxx came out. We finally downed Prophet, then everyone kinda gave up because TBC got announced. Seemed pointless to keep wiping for everything to become obsolete. I still refuse to go past BWL on private servers. I really want to experience AQ40 and Naxx for the first time on official WoW servers.
You will find the raids to be much easier than back in the day.
The players are more knowledgeable
It's more to do with the maximization of world buffs now. You can stack like 6 free buffs for some classes. It's insane.
Even without the world buffs the content will seem easier. Most players in retail vanilla were pretty clueless. Go watch some old naxx clears and you will be shocked to see all the trash debuffs the raid uses.
they are way past wow 2 at this point. bfa is essentially wow 7
What is the point of giving players the ability if they are not allowed to use it?
he is probably playing on a private server where its not allowed. these servers can have scripting issues on the boat so they ban people doing this
It is absolutely allowed in private servers and happens all the time.
not all private servers. some will ban you for exploiting it
Wait people actually raid in the middle of the day on Saturday...during summer?
Mage. top notch flag carrier and perfect for AV
when you go elemental spec, you can still be a good enough pvp healer. enh shamans dont have the mana to help your team like an elemental spec shaman
Who is Pip?
He is like the road runner for the alliance. The horde coyotes can't catch him
now i need to find someone else to enchant my gear...
Your only realistic choice is Light's Hope Northdale.
Kronos3 is cancery as hell with a ton of shitty custom features and EZ mode dungeons that have tanked the population. Visited my mage on a week ago. Place is dead af. Wish I hadn't wasted so much time there a few months back.
This guy is just a lights hope shills. On Kronos the custom features are
a 5g cap on respecs
Line of site changes so people can't shoot through trees and such
Under level 50 you can que for a bg anywhere.
The rest of what he said is a lie. Dungeons are blizzlike and the server is very active.
Hi, you can PM me your previous username and I can look into it, although I don't know if moderation logs go back years :P Also you should not ban evade, it is against the site wide rules and can get you in trouble outside of this page
Kronos 2 had a different reddit page. So I don't think he is evading the ban
I could be goofing but I don't think the Kronos 2 sub was ever run by project staff :-/
I think you are right
gear score isnt a thing in vanilla.
some blues in vanilla are better than some raiding epics. some raid epics are complete trash that no one uses. to judge someone off item levels would be dumb.
people might judge your gear by looking at it but you wont see a score assigned to it
It wouldn't take much to make a GearScore addon that dynamically calculates the value of items for each class.
they have item levels and you can average the item level...but its trash and no one would judge you by it.
