I uninstalled it so that I could use my laptop for showing a slideshow, without anybody interacting with it. I thought that a simple "Scan for hardware changes" or a restart would fix it, but apparently not. Does anybody have any ideas?

I found a fix:

- Uninstall a windows update and reinstall it

Nothing at all in the keyboards and section and other devices even after showing hidden devicesm

Just an external keyboard and something else that shows up as an USB keyboard.

1.7 packs will certanly run better. 1.8+ stores textures in RAM. Most likely Foolcraft is not going to run smooth at all a little later.

Smaller 1.8+ packs (like vanilla+) should also be fine.

Foolcraft 1 2 and 3 might be up your alley.

They're all the same pack, just different versions.

I'm just wondering wether to buy a modchip, Free McBoot card or a network adapter so that I can use Free HdBoot. Which is your prefernce and why?

Well yes, $8-10 for an already made FMCB card is the least expensive, if you don't already own discs to do it yourself. I did it through CogSwap Loader and the PS2 Independence Exploit years ago, and upgraded to FMCB from that when it came out.

You can also just install FHDB to your hard drive from your computer, in which case you don't need anything special, and FHDB can boot uLaunchELF to boot the FMCB installer, so you can make your own cards.

Don't I need the network adapter so that the ps can read my disk?

Yes, because that provides the drive plugins. It also provides the network connection so you can load games from a PC network share, or play online games on unofficial servers.

Did you plan to not use a hard drive with FMCB? The main point is that it lets you run OPL to run an entire library of games from a hard drive inside the system, so the games travel inside the system.

Was thinking discs so that I wouldn't need to buy anything, but I have given up on that.

Is FMCB better than FHDB? If not then what's the point of installing FMCB when you have a disk.

The ingame documentation is quite good. Else you can watch the second part of Direwolf20's spotlight on the mod. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RRddsks9TA

I know one.

Defeat a chaos dragon without using armor, tools or weapons related to draconic evolution. I sorta did that thing during infinity evolved skyblock using a jetplate with last stand which survives every hit except the homing bullets. I don't know if that got changed.

That's pretty much impossible. You need very speefy flight to be able to ditch the energy bullets.

Quark's realistic worlf type.

If you want it automated: The Crafter Tier 3 from RFTools or the Cyclic Assembler from Thermal Expansion.

If not: The Crafting Station from Tinker's Construct because the items don't pop out if you close it and it has a slab version. Standard crafting grid. You can also add storage by placing a chest next to it.

The Worktable from Forestry has a standard crafting grid, internal storage and can remember 9 recipes.

IIRC CA changed name in 1.12. Can't remember to what.

I think malisis doors can do this?

Looking at the images from here, they seem to work custom size and custom materials https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/malisisdoorshttps://www.reddit.com/images

Malisisdoors has a giant castle door.

I have a Amd a10-6700 quad core, and if i do buy the card it will be a Gtx 1050 2gb of ddr5 ram. I do heve 12gb of system ram tho and I can add 2 more 8gb sticks of ddr3. My comp is a HP envy 700-147c

I compared mine to yours on userbenchmark, that told me that mine was a tiny bit better than yours, and to get a decent FPS I usually have to use lower graphics settings. So if you want to use maximum detail, I would recommend buying a card. A 1030 is probably enough for MC, but if you want to play other more graphic dependent games, I'd definitely recommend buying the 1050.

Original Poster1 point · 3 months ago

I use fancy graphics with 4-chunks, and I also use Dynamic Surroundings. This mod might be the culprit if i want to get 100fps.

With a 1050 you could probably increase it to 10 or 12 chunks loaded no problem.

try using fully charged items. maybe its meta sensitive.

Or not charged at all.

My best guess is that this is Autosave. Installing optifine should help.
Secondly the issue when opening the inventory is a NEI bug. They aren't sure what is causing it, but it only occurs when launching via Twitch.

Make sure you aren't using item racka, but dryibg racks. If you are, you should definetely report it as a bug.

so did some googling and edited the start.bat to change the amount of ram used for the server. i have 16GB of ram, but it won't let me use any more than 1GB for the server, otherwise it won't even start at all. any idea why?

Is your java up-to-date? Anyway, you should just use the official server packs now.

pretty sure it's up to date, as i just installed it earlier. and what official server packs?

Why bother with a shapedMirrored?

recipes.addShaped("log2stick", <minecraft:stick> * 16, [[<ore:logWood>], [<ore:logWood>]]);

Should be enough.

I've never heard of the Shapes method.

I think you limited by only having 8 gigs of RAM. Also the single-core performace of your CPU wasn't really good. There is a "bug" in MC, with it only beeing able to use a single CPU core.

I think that you most likely aren't going to be able to play it, atlest not in late game.

Of course you could still give it a try.

with it only beeing able to use a single core of RAM.

I'm assuming you have made a typo here? Because this looks like gibberish to me.

So an acceleration of 1?

He would assume that the number you specified was average.

I bought a cheap wireless keyboard and mouse, I connected it my tablet using an adapter berween Micro USB and regular USB. It worked immediately when I started minecraft.

In 1.8+ all models are stored in your RAM. This makes loading faster and also boosts the RAM usage. So basically you have the choice to have a few large mods or more small mods.

Alternatively if you wish to not use much RAM, YOU should make it for pre-1.8

Please report this directly to thr modpack author.

MultiMC is probably the most popular other than Twitch. You'll have to download the zip from from Curseforge and import it to MultiMc.

Item ID's aren't really used in 1.12. If you hit F3 + H you'll enable advanced tooltips. If you hover over the item in JEI, it'll display the item's name.

Could be autosave. Try installing Optifine.

Original Poster2 points · 3 months ago

How would I do that through the Twitch client. I have it on base MC I just dont know how to put it on a modpack.

Just put the optifine jar in the mods folder. You can find "Open Folder" (might be a little off with the name) in the menu for the pack. Alternatively it is at C:/users/YOURUSERNAME/documents/curse/minecraft/instances/PACKNAME/mods
