Should be the 1,000 most recent messages that remain accessible to you, the same as for one's comment/submission history. If you haven't tried, look at the sub's individual modmail rather than all your modmail together, you'll have more messages displayed that way. The only way to access older stuff is to mess around with the sorts if at all possible and hope it comes out under the 1,000 most recent items there, barring having the direct link.

Edit: if you were involved in the modmail, you can also try looking through http://goedhartvoordieren.nl/?page=message/sent/ and grab the permalink that way if your 1,000 most recent PMs include the modmail.

The ability to copy from one subreddit you moderate to another is also DESPERATELY needed, the ability to get everything in order on a separate subreddit then transfer it all over to the main subreddit in the blink of an eye was huge and needs to be re-implemented.

Yes! I recently copied the theme from r/Pigifs to r/Pigs and it took forever!

Portability also means version control, so it's important even if you don't moderate multiple subreddits that might use the same theme (or a variation of it). If one mod clicks and confirms "Reset to defaults" you have to start from scratch. It's disappointing that they explicitly refer to it as a nuclear option because it means they were aware that they weren't also providing a mechanism to undo that action as is possible with old stylesheets.

The real test for Who Is America is next week. For promotion the show only had a week's worth of marketing and some people complaining about being duped. Now that everyone knows what it's about (and it's not necessary to have seen the first episode), they'll decide if they want to watch next week. r/WhoIsAmerica for the subreddit.

You'd need to use automod for that:

type: submission
set_suggested_sort: new

would probably work. There's no native way apart from doing it manually yourself per thread.

On the settings page (http://goedhartvoordieren.nl/?page=r/SUBREDDIT/about/edit/) in the "other options" category, near the bottom of it, you can set the default comment sort without using AutoMod.

Below a post's title, when you are in the comments page for a thread, you should see "make announcement" on the same row as the option where you choose your comment sort.

That's where i'm looking, and it isn't there. Here's a screenshot link:

Click the shield at the right and you'll have the sticky post option pop up.

The duping was done for his new show, "Who Is America?", which is airing this Sunday on Showtime at 10:00 PM. You can join us at r/WhoIsAmerica.

Other reported duped people include Cheney, Sarah Palin and Joe Walsh. Matt Drudge also says these people have been duped too: Howard Dean, Alberto Gonzales, Bernie Sanders, Trent Lott, David Petraeus, Ted Koppel, and more.

If you need 14 rules to moderate your community, maybe you should instead take a closer look at them and see whether you can condense them at all...

Also, it would be nice if we could reorder the rules

If you need 14 rules to moderate your community, maybe you should instead take a closer look at them and see whether you can condense them at all...

I disagree. The number of rules is simply dependent upon how willing you are to detail every moderator scenario. For example, I see that you moderate r/youtubegaming, and this is your rule set. I am willing to bet that you take (or would take) moderator actions beyond the scope of that and site-wide rules.

I agree that brevity is important for the sake of getting users to simply read the thing but sometimes you can't condense things any further if your sub has specific issues that you're trying to address that must be explicitly detailed in the rules.

There was also a little bug... One second...

You can use this AutoMod rule for that issue:

# Spoiler system error
type: any
body: [">! "]
moderators_exempt: false
action: remove
action_reason: Spoiler system typo
message: Your [content]({{permalink}}) in r/{{subreddit}} has been removed due to an error in your spoiler tag. You should not be using a space after the first exclamation mark. Please repost your content instead of editing it, as AutoModerator will not know to unremove your edited post.

You can use AutoModerator to detect and remove common syntax issues with spoiler systems:

# Spoiler system error
type: any
body: [">! "]
moderators_exempt: false
action: remove
action_reason: Spoiler system typo
message: Your [content]({{permalink}}) in r/{{subreddit}} has been removed due to an error in your spoiler tag. You should not be using a space after the first exclamation mark. Please repost your content instead of editing it, as AutoModerator will not know to unremove your edited post.

I had suggested that all the bans expire with the release of the sequel where the snap will presumably be undone. Are there any plans for this?

On your settings page, change the spam filter from high to low for self posts. Sometimes the spam filter goes out of whack for no discernible reason and starts filtering legitimate text posts. I've never noticed any change in visible spam after doing this. The spam filter on reddit is really arcane and the times I've messaged the admins about this exact issue haven't been helpful so my only recourse was changing the filter setting.

If the admins would punish a moderator for making the redesign unusable, there are many other actions they should be taking site-wide, such as tackling every subreddit that remove downvotes via CSS or subreddits that use obnoxiously large subscribe buttons that are easy to click accidentally. These actions all interfere with normal use of the site or make it otherwise difficult to use. These issues only seem to be ignored because they have been around for so long that they are accepted as normal.

Ask users to upvote the daily posts or anything else similar you're having issues with. The admins don't enforce that rule anymore. That's your only recourse without extra stickies. If users want the daily posts to be visible then they'll have to prove it through their upvotes and show that they aren't simply a vocal minority. (You could use various CSS tricks and links to bolster visibility but that won't reach most mobile users.)

u/nicholascajun why have you stickied this post? Now everyone has started using it, which has split the comments. There was only one finale episode. We deliberately only used the ep 10 thread. There was no separate ep 11. Terry Matalas has stated there was only the one episode.

The SyFy website lists the episodes separately.

I take care of the calendar here. There's no crossover. For the redesign I would have to make a Google Calendar and update that separately from the calendar I currently maintain. If you want a good, comprehensive list of premieres and want to continue using the redesign, you can bookmark this Metacritic link and check that every so often.
