Just started lifting again after suffering from costochondritis for about 3 years. Started out extremely tentatively and I don't dare work my pecs at all but managed the whole session without causing a flare up. Can anyone share any tips on lifting with this condition? Most advice online is simply not to and wait for the chest to heal.
I firmly believe that if you can't share everything with your spouse you're not in a healthy relationship.
Perhaps, but if you've got persistent problems do you really want to bring down your friends and family by going on and on about it. Id prefer to meet a professional once or twice a week who I can moan to about these things. Much less selfish.
English officers and detectives get mad bonus and kick backs for getting sexual "predators" off the street. So they just follow the narrative of a lying female and support her lie to get their bonus money. Whatever doesn't support the lie is conveniently omitted.
This is what happens when a department is forced to believe all claims and has monetary backing to do so.
Bonuses? You must be joking.
Interest is quoted gross and is capped at the quoted rate although actual returns could be lower
You take all the risk and they take any return over the advertised rate. I wouldn't mind investing in them, not sure I want to use them to invest in others though.
For frugality the best advice is to try to move out of London as soon as possible. There's plenty of good fun big cities although none of them are quite like London of course.
I’d imagine it’s a lot easier to calculate your FI in the UK because you have universal healthcare. Though from what little I know about it, you will probably want to purchase supplemental insurance to get better care.
For the time being yes. I don't know anyone who needs to buy supplemental insurance. However, for people like me in their 30s it's actually harder because we don't know whether universal healthcare will exist in 10, 20, or 30 years when we are likely to need it the most.
I don't care about organic. I just want eggs from chickens that live a mostly good life, where they can go outside for real and get dust baths and live an ok life.
Make a term that ensures that and I'll buy those eggs.
You should care about organic. Antibiotic resistance is terrifying.
I'm going to get one I think. No idea what I'll use it for yet. Probably keep it on my desk at work spend 5 minutes over lunch writing what I did the previous day, as well as record the various exercise and dieting fads that I follow from time to time.
I've kept diaries over the years and it's always fascinating to go back and read what you did, thought, and felt in the past.
This is a sensible comment. Don't infringe on freedoms but do educate - similarly (though with a different downside) educating people on smoking but still giving them the choice.
We often infringe on a person's freedom to stop them doing something that harms others (e.g. theft, murder). Some people think animals can suffer and hence it's reasonable and logical to infringe on people's freedoms to stop that from happening.
