He was phenomenal last week.

Of course it's easy to praise Suárez, but the best example of garra charrua is Diego Godín.

Does anybody know how to get the Silver Wing necessary to capture Lugia?

3 points · 12 days ago

I don't know if that problem is due to Leonflix, which I am having a great time using btw, but lately there seems to be a distinct lack of HD streams and source variability.

alright - surprising to me, because afaik here you only get money for blood plasma (donation takes longer)

You can also donate sperm for like 80€.

There was a post about it the other day on r/de

What can we expect from him?

Stendel was promoted to Hannovers chef coach late in our relegation season, at that time it was basically a given that we would start the next season in 2.Bundesliga.

In this time he managed to integrate quite a few talented youth players in the first squad, notably Waldamar Anton and Noah Joel Sarenren-Bazee, especially the former has been absolutly fantastic the last 2 years, in 1. and 2.Bundesliga alike, the latter is unfortunatly relativly prone to injury, but nevertheless a great talent.

So I imagine his philosophy is to try to intgegrate youth players as much as possible.

Stendel was let go in March of our promotion series in favour for Andre Breitenreiter. At that time we were 4th and people simply were scared to not make promotion. Breitenreiters one advantage over Stendel is tactics.

Stendel is by no means bad at it, but nothing really special either. He excels at motivation and in building relationships with players, he is more like the guy players would go out for pint with than an authority figure. We call that "Kumpeltyp" in Germany.

Hope I could give you what you asked for.

Thank you.

Our problem last season was that we had no leaders, on the pitch or off of it. We didn't have a true captain to give the players that extra bit of lift.

We also had the youngest squad in the league and probably one of the youngest in the whole Football League. So i see why we have chosen this guy.

Would you say for him to be a successful manager he needs a tactical number 2? In recent times we haven't had the most tactical managers so it probably wont hurt him to be poor at that anyway :D

Also, do you think he will try and poach any of your players or ex players?

Edit: What is his preferred formation?

I see now why Stendel has been on your clubs radar. The youth component definitly seems like a great fit.

We mostly played a pretty standard 4-2-3-1 system during his time. Really nothing special or memorable about it, but I am not the biggest tactics guy either, so i might be the wrong person to ask that. I have been giving you the consense of information that I've read on German football forums or gained from listening from podcasts.

He may need a tactical number 2, but he has been out of a job for a bit over a year now, maybe he has gained some knowledge in the meantime. Only time will tell I guess.

I think he might try to lure some of our ex youth players to England. I am not exactly sure who he might go for though.

Maybe Jordan Brown, who we got from West Ham 2 years ago and who has since played in our second team. But I can hardly judge if he has the class for you guys. Another one might be Fynn Arkenberg who also got his debut through Stendel and was used quite a bit in our first half year in 2.Bundesliga, after Breitenreiter he has not been given much chances in the first team and has since been demoted to the Regionalligateam.

Those are just wild guesses though, without any source information.

I'm halfway through the book and loving it. Hoping to finish the book this week so that I can start watching the show. Anyone done both? How does the show compare to the book?

The show is slower and heavily stylized.

I found the book to be a rather quick read.

Not just quick, but easy too.

Neil Gaiman is such a strong writer in that regard. American gods is such a deep world and there is so much going on, yet not once does that book feel like a chore to read. It's damn near effortless to get through that book.

You have put it way more eloquently than I did.

But I agree ;)

On a slightly smaller scale.

I thought Niclas Füllkrug would not make it in Bundesliga. He proved me wrong.

I'd love to hear more specific announcer quotes like the flash bear stance Quickshot mentioned.

That might be a lot of fun, could get annoying relativly quickly though. If those are released a frequency meter might be a good idea, to not burn out from the announcing.

Any hope for a future reappearance in the higher classes of German football? Just saw that you guys are 4th currently.

11 points · 1 month ago

Maybe next season we'll come back up... is what I'm saying for like 5 years now.

Only if we win the league, there's a chance to be promoted, because there are only 3 spots for 5 leagues...

However, we finally got mostly rid of our management and financial problems, so we might be on a good track now.

That does sound hopeful. Aachen belongs in the higher tiers.

I love these long episodes.

I don't believe that these will somehow stretch the show and add unnecessary filler content, but rather allow us to see the show like it is meant to, without scenes getting deleted.

Ich bin überrascht, dass der Artikel ohne Wortspiel auskommt.

Nidalee used to be played as a support way back when so you could probably pull it off with her. I've also seen rengar played as support but you have to know how to play him well in order to pull it off. Only other one I would say is pretty decent is shaco. Ganking your own lane is pretty fun.

Those are still wildly different than Roccat. Liquid has been one of the biggest esports brands for a really long time, and Steve also gained serious investors, the meme didn't appear out of thin air.

Echo Fox has Rick Fox.

I am really delighted by this.

He is a terrfic actor, was really phenomenal in Outlander and even his short appearance in Game of Thrones was really good.

Interesting point about promisq. He seems like on of those guys who doesn't really do much on the surface and often receives flag from reddit. But he seems to have a lot of value that the general fan can't notice. I distinctly remember a tweet by Amazing aswell where he was praising him hard.

His last game on Rakan was pretty amazing and raises hope for the future.
