That is, any penalty for PU components.
I have a bet going with a friend that they'll take their first penalty at or before the French grand prix. I'm feeling quietly confident.
Just a thought, since Russia was just responsible for a nerve agent attack in the UK, and most of the F1 teams are UK businesses, surely there is a possibility that sanctions etc could prevent the Sochi GP from being run? Has anyone considered this possibility publicly yet?
So I've been looking at a few botnets mining on nanopool. Why there? Because they have a mix of botnet and non-botnet traffic, and because they're the largest pool that makes it easy to see the stats of "top" miners etc.
So on the one end we have what appear to be large mining ops such as these:
Large but consistent hashrates, when hashrate does change it's a step change as some large group of workers are directed to another pool or coin. Doesn't follow the day-night variance typical of botnets.
Then we have an example of what is likely a large botnet making use of multiple xmr-node-proxy servers or similar:
And finally, we have my new favourite - a botnet that not only has each of its infections connect in as a separate worker, but has them use their IP addresses as the worker name so you can track the location of their infections as well:
So far, they've made just shy of 188 XMR.
Picture in case it gets pulled.
