We're looking for 5 new moderators, and we've decided to try out an election-style process.
If you're interested in being a mod, comment on this thread with some reasons why GetMotivated users should (up)vote for you. Here are some suggested questions to answer:
What moderator/CSS experience do you have? What have you contributed to /r/GetMotivated? What would you change about /r/GetMotivated?
If you don't want to be a mod, but want to have your say, vote with your upvote button in this thread.
I just thought I'd start a discussion regarding GetMotivatedBuddies.com, which was started by /u/redditstrom and isn't affiliated with /r/GetMotivatedBuddies. I had previously banned /u/redditstrom from promoting the site here, but thought I would now open the discussion to the wider community. Do we think we should allow redditstrom to refer people to his site? If yes, any suggested conditions? Any other concerns? Has anyone tried the site and have feedback of whether it works better than this subreddit?
My goal here is really just to gauge what the community wants and how we want to move forward together.
