can someone explain this :

Just as a quick aside about MPBGP, MPLS VPNs use MPBGP (as opposed to other routing protocols) because MPBGP can advertise routes from multiple customers while keeping the routes logically separated.

if you are sure you will move , put a friend or family adress . and if you will be accepted you juste move.

you have to move to interview but you will have more chance, or you can said i'm not in the city can we do it with Skype

Our ticketing system has a self service portal, and when someone submits a request for something it goes to their manager first. Depending on the something, it may go to their director and VP after that. Once all the approvals are in, it comes to IT for work to be done. If there is a cost to the thing they want, that is displayed up front and they must input a cost center for it.

Same here we use opensource GLPI

The optimal setup would be Hyper-V Core on bare-metal, with all prod servers as VMs, including the DC. That would give you the smallest footprint on the physical components. The only change I would make is to (if you have the resources) install Hyper-V with GUI so you have an easier to use management interface.

I've worked on VMware and Hyper-V for years, and this is just my $.02 based on my personal experience with both. It really all depends on your interface management requirements, the skillset of those managing it, maintenance window availability, fault tolerance, backup infrastructure, etc.

Is hyper v core bare metal ??

Why peopole are switching from vmware to hyperv I think vmware is better from bare metal hypervistor to efficiency management tool. Is about cost ? Or something else

congrats.

IN the simulation sections, do you have to set up any thing?

Like DHCP for example or Ntp or create an ACL?

is it a case of a network is already setup and you just use the show commands to figure out whats wrong?

it was a couple of scenarios when you just use show command to figure whats wrong or to answer a question like why NTP not working, PC1 not pinging

Congrats!

The PC is attempting to access the web server - so the source is the PC and the destination is the WebServer. The WebServer has a Private IP Address and the PC needs to cross public ip address space to reach the WebServer.

There are 2 potential resolutions to this issue --- VPN Tunnel or NAT the WebServer IP Address to a Public Address

you need the private ip address of the Webserver to NAT it (10.1.0.13)

You also need a public IP Address to NAT it to ... The image indicates the public facing interface is 209.165.201.0/29 ... so the ip address needs to fall in that range (x.x.x.7 is the broadcast address .. so not it ..... x.x.x.2 is the R2 address .. so not it ... that leaves x.x.x.1 as the only potential option)

the problem we are assigning NAT to router 1 ( NAT ) not router 2 look again

I start reading ICND 1 Lammle book i fount this question on the aasessment test :

You reload a router with a configuration register setting of 0x2101. What will the router do when it reloads?

a-The router enters setup mode.

b-The router enters ROM monitor mode.

c-The router boots the mini-IOS in ROM.

d-The router expands the first IOS in flash memory into RAM.

i was sure its D reffering to offecial certbook

If boot field = 0, use the ROMMON OS.

  1. If boot field = 1, load the first IOS file found in flash memory.

  2. If boot field = 2-F:

but his ansewrs was C. he said

2100 boots the router into ROM monitor mode, 2101 loads the mini-IOS from ROM, and 2102 is the default and loads the IOS from flash. See Chapter 8 for more information.

can someone help?

The servers receive the DHCPREQUEST broadcast from the client. Those servers not selected by the DHCPREQUEST message use the message as notification that the client has declined that server's offer. The server selected in the DHCPREQUEST message commits the binding for the client to persistent storage and responds with a DHCPACK message containing the configuration parameters for the requesting client. RFC 2131 Section 3.1

I know that we can change the administrative distance of static route but it is possible to change the metric?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Static routes don't have a metric, only routing protocols use metric.

If you just want a backup route in case the first route isn't reachable you could simply add another static route with an administrative distance of 2.

is limited to serial interface? or can work with ethernet interface?

For point-to-point interfaces, you can use static routes that point to the exit interface or to the next-hop address. For multipoint/broadcast interfaces, it is more suitable to use static routes that point to a next-hop address :: source CCNA 2 netacad

This is where proxy-arp comes in. Proxy-arp can allow a router to respond to ARP requests for IP's it doesn't actually have as an interface, if it does know how to reach that destination IP. So if R2 has a route to the internet, if it has proxy-arp enabled it can respond to R1's ARP for 8.8.8.8 with its own MAC.

This is why it becomes a resource-hog for R1 - every IP it tries to reach it needs to ARP for, R2 would respond with its own, R1 then needs to store all these ARP entries for every IP its had to lookup.

And if R2 doesn't have proxy-arp enabled, then this doesn't work at all.
