My favorite thing ever would be for Folty to throw a CG at home to clinch the division this year
laughs in team of the 90s
Waddle is making a strong case for himself, he's isnt the biggest guy out there but damn can he make guys miss.
Give Scott Cochran an off season with this kid. Size will come
Well the best team we’ve played was Louisville and they suck. We can start getting excited if we blow out Jimbo’s boys this weekend. Although seeing Ole Miss only score 7 (and then go pretty much an entire football game without scoring again) makes me feel good about our defense
The key takeaway from the Ole Miss game is only giving up 7 points and that was the first play of the game. They may not be a good team overall but they can still put points on the board and our defense was up to the challenge.
Offensively, we knew we were going to be fine.
Agreed. That’s why I’m surprised nobody is talking about our defense. It’s incredibly young and has some holes but nobody has really run the ball on us and we’re forcing a lot of turnovers through the air because teams have to throw on us

Does he still have the single game rushing record at Alabama? It’s crazy that he forwent an NFL career to serve his country over seas. Nothing but respect for Glenn
Edit: Apparently Shaun Alexander holds the single game rushing yardage record. For some reason I thought it was Coffee
He never had it I don't think. Shaun Alexander had 291 yards against LSU in 96
Yeah you’re right I looked it up. I don’t know why I thought he had a 300 yard game. Still had a pretty good career though

Really like this kid. If he can work out his inconsistency a little bit he would be an excellent reliever
Fun Fact: /u/amlaminack loves Gabe Kapler and his face.
(He's asleep because he's in the UK so he won't see this or respond)
Actually I was on a plane so I couldn’t respond. I’m back in Baton Rouge now for the first time since August
You and /u/amlaminack would get along nicely.
I believe it was /u/NoQuartersGiven that always obsessed about the punchable face. I jut liked to poke him about it
I feel it.... deep in my pluuummmms
Source: am currently in northern England for business
Surtain is the new Humphreys and Thompson is the new Landon Collins. Change my mind
There were also other brothers in the UK.
I also watched from the UK. What a weird time
What's balky about it?
All the moves towards home without making a pitch. Usual guys who do this consistently get away with it
Brandon Nimmo would like a word
Also Max “let’s play catch” Scherzer
Dirty pitch but why is this not a balk?
A balk is when you
Dansby has to be 80% fluent by now, right?
For real. He’s basically immersed in a Spanish speaking country at this point
Did Camargo get hurt
Just a pulled groin. He’ll probably have today off and then after the off day on Thursday he’ll probably be good to go
One note: cfbstats lists Tagovailoa as having 16 first downs/touchdowns. I've gone through the play-by-play ESPN provides for both games multiple times to try and figure this out; but I still only count 8 non-first downs/touchdowns, not 9. My best guess is that the pass DeVonta Smith fumbled against Louisville wasn't counted as a first down because of the turnover, but Smith had definitely gained enough yards for the first down.
Here's how some past QBs have looked
Hurts - 240 completions, 108 first downs/touchdowns (2016); 154 completions, 89 first downs/touchdowns
Coker - 263 completions, 130 first downs/touchdowns
Sims - 252 completions, 151 first downs/touchdowns
To be fair to Hurts, he did pick up plenty on the ground.
Edit: If you have a better idea on the reason for the discrepancy, I'd love to know. It's really bugging me.
Edit 2: Alabama's play-by-play info also doesn't note that play as a first down, so that's probably what it is.
Edit 3: Roll Tide

Just trying to cover everybody’s bases here, no pun intended
I thought there was about a 90% chance you'd simply respond with:
- Michael Scott
Damn it. That would’ve been better
Excellent video. His voice reminds me a lot of the YouTuber CGP Grey.
Great radio voice and his analysis is always on the mark
All of his videos are around 50k views despite being absolutely brilliant. I put him along the same lines as Crowder and Shapiro.
I found Matt a little over a year ago and I’m still shocked he isn’t bigger. He has some of the most easily digestible and most poignant takes on current events I’ve seen. I love his livestreams too
Waddle waddle quack quack
Wow. It's easy to imagine that trend holding for a few years if Jalen transfers and Tua declares early
Especially if Taulia steps up like Tua did and is good enough to declare early. We could be looking at a 10 year gap of no QB completing their eligibility. Of course that’s assuming a lot
Do you think Tua stays in long enough to throw 4 TDs today? Or do we pound Harris up the middle in the red zone to see what he can do?
I feel like we need something a lot stronger than Miller Lite here.
Just be like /u/handlit33 and drink 18 of them
It certainly does the trick.
Quantity is a quality all in its own
“SWING AND A CRY”
We could have pushed for 100 if we left Tua in the whole game
This seems like an exaggeration but it’s not too far off. The only time Tua was in the game and we didn’t score a touchdown was because of a lucky fumble. Assuming that doesn’t happen, Tua could be 12/12 on drives meaning we score 84 (assuming we actually make all the PATs)
