Well it's pretty obvious given the context of my original comment. Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other system of government in the history of the world. The United States, which employs many capitalistic principles became a world super power because of it. It led to the technological revolutions that we've experience and many of the modern conveniences that we have now are because of capitalism. We also have the luxury off affording said conveniences because of the economic system that we live under.

And Cannibalism keeps a tribe well fed without having to go out and expend energy and risk on hunting.

I've had similar experiences back country skiing, and it really is magical.

Reddit hit its Eternal September some time ago. That's the effect this sub, and many online communities are facing. It sucks, and only you may see this comment.

bring on the downvotes! :(

I've been getting the eternal September vibe a lot lately. I think it's good though. Content quality is amazing and Reddits "Network Effect" on the real world looks to be growing for the foreseeable future. And as a vet Futurology mod, I'm excited for it.

Make sense, any time a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a zoo. Unless it's a farm.

It could be a puppy farm too.

40 ppd is insanely impressive considering the fact that the human eye is about 200 ppd.
