I am European living in Asia. When it was found the South Korean president was taking orders from literal cult leader, the peaceful protests were massive and didnt stop until the president was gone. From my point of view, its easy to blame the republican controlled congress, but most US citizens are complicit in allowing Trump to further Russian agenda.

In short, we have been. The 4 largest protests in US history have all happened during Trump's presidency. They've ranged from 1 million to 5 million people. At this point until they get much, much, more serious I think little will change. We're going to a need a french revolution style protest to make a change.

"It's Likely, Yeah"

so basically, he is purely speculating? How is this news?

To say that a US Senator is just speculating is a bit exaggerated. In this case he's on the Committee on Foreign Relations which does give him some authority in this area. I think he has a bit more information than you and I.

I was nodding my head as he went and then threw up a bit in my mouth.

So Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan were creating Czar back channels through the NRA. Great. So that means our entire political system is tied up in corruption and will be crippled until they're all kicked out of office. Why is this not public knowledge and why are they still redacting this congressman's name?

If you want big legs from cycling, it comes from short sprints, low gearing, hill sprints/repeats, and HIT training. Generally track cyclists have the body you're talking about due to short races much like running track sprinters.

Is it really "an European"? Huh. And I hope we can all agree its center and not centre.

Look at the age of people who voted for Trump... They're definitely not all old.

Edit: Meant to actually say "not" old

My little brother, 20, voted for Trump. He was basically brainwashed from being brought up by his grandparents in Texas and can't see why it was a terrible idea.

Sorry, I meant to actually say not old. The polls show that young white people voted for him by and large. Even women.

The questions is did /u/OurFriendIrony think that he was original by saying he tells people about the orbiting teapot. My opinion, and that of the 30 other people who downvoted you was that he was not inferring that he was at all original but rather that he found that metaphor helpful in this particular scenario.

I'm surprised there aren't more apple users here that have felt frustrated with their repair policies as of late. I know I have. Simple fixes have caused large headaches for me and they're becoming less customer focused than they ever have.

The Apple Store Ginza turned down repairing my iPhone 6s Plus because they were afraid that they would break it even more.

I wish I was making that up. I hate Apple’s repair policies and services. They’re overpriced. The staff hardly know what they’re doing. They don’t even do most repairs in the store. They constantly tell customers they’re lying in the most PR friendly ways possible. I’ve heard some geniuses even say in front of the customer that they have an “I.D. 10 T.” error!

Its disappointing because I became an apple user in large part due to their amazing return policy, warranty repairs, and customer service. They were the company who would go out of their way to make sure you're a happy customer. Now I hear from their geniuses that they wish they could repair my simple issue, or they think their policy is unreasonable, or they are surprised by what they're charging me. I'm no longer impressed and wowed by their customer service, its now just bearable.

I can't ride that far in the summer and I don't understand how others can. Too hot. It's easy to get dehydrated and be miles from a pit stop.

America is more divided than it has been since the 1960’s. I wouldn’t bring up Trump around a group of Americans. You are likely to cause an awkward situation.

I bring up Trump in random groups of people specifically because its awkward.

Original Poster3.9k points · 7 days agoGilded5 · edited 7 days ago

I did a hell of a lot more than that.

I have attended multiple California Democratic Party conventions, interned on both city council and congressional (CA-45) campaigns, registered voters with NextGen America at the March For Our Lives, helped organize school walkouts and demonstrations where we registered my classmates to vote, and actively participated in several local Democratic clubs and organizations like the Orange County Young Democrats and the Democrats of Greater Irvine. I have done all of this - and I am not alone. My fellow High School Democrats were with me all the way, and we're going to become College Democrats in the fall. I'm joining the USC College Democrats as soon as I get to Los Angeles.
