The ridge of the nose and the cheeks look a bit flat because you have taken them too dark and they don't have enough contrast with the surrounding areas. Think about highlights as well as shadows - where is the light at its brightest? Proportions are pretty good - nose looks a little bit too long... nice work though! It's very stylised and the effect is very cool

Nice work - really good depth of colour!

That's great that you've picked it up again! This is especially good given the long break! Did you use just one pencil? You could try exploring some different hardnesses of pencil for more depth of colour

What kind of pencils are you using? I think you could be bolder with the colours - apply more pressure to get the brightness of the pencil!

The proportions are pretty good! I would say the shading on the face is a little dark, and thus a bit of clarity is lost!

Looks cool! I like that the focus is on all the tentacles and sucker things underneath! I would do a background 1 it sets the subject into a scene - as mentioned above, a gradient would work very well

I've never seen a celtic squid - very cool

Very nice impressions of light! I like it!

I love the textures! The impression of feathers is never lost!

Very good - the perspective is great!

She has come a long way - very inspiring to see her progress!

This must have taken some time! Its beautiful - you have captured the light really well!!!

Well done!!! This is so good for your first charcoal attempt! Very good resemblance. One thing I would say, is try not to outline object; you've outlined the collar and hat, and the jaw a little bit. You've got it nicely on the nose and the eyes - try to work in the same way in other areas of the drawing, it will help to make it even more convincing! Great stuff though :)

Very nice! I really like seeing art that has detail and a "soul" to it. While looking at this, it seems as though she could turn her head and look at me at any moment.

My Grandpa wants me to be a lawyer or a doctor and frowns upon me being an artist. So I painted him haha.
