Great post, I liked it a lot. I wondered if when you researched Alki and in doing so stumbled on Chinook Wawa, did you do any research on Chinook Jargon. Wawa is quintessentially Pacific Northwest and a fascinating rabbit hole to dive down.

Can you do Miami, Fort Lauderdale? You can sell this to travel agencies to have it like a map

I was thinking of Miami

Totally understandable. However, I thought I'd point out that the inclusion/exclusion of a neighborhood may impact perceptions of your project. For instance, the Central District has traditionally been a minority, working class area. So by excluding it from the map, some people may feel you've "whitewashed" Seattle (despite the omission only due to the obvious etymology of the neighborhood.)

Not anything actually worth taking action on, but something to think about as you build out other maps/other cities. Anyway, thanks for sharing. Pretty cool to see this stuff!

This is the second time for me. I've also had a corporation contact me and ask if I could promote their site (I said no, of course)

Cook! Men should make delicious meals without being judged as "feminine" by some

My wife broke her foot, 5th metatarsal I think. She borrowed her friends ultrasound boot. I had to hack the computer to get it to work. But she heeled nicely. The manufacturer's software keeps count of # of times used. I would have liked her to have a 3D cast.
