I'm going to leave this up so people can ask me questions if there are still people who randomly click my profile. Just don't be an ass about it and I'll answer honestly.
Sir. You may not be aware but 2 years ago you did a tinder post with a cunty becca. The image was reposted and gathered a lot of attention as you'd expect any quality post to realize.
Inquiring minds want to know. Did you smash.
I saw the screenshot and posted it, and no I wouldn't smash that because odds are the person in the pic doesn't even know their picture is being used for that.
In other words, I bet it's fake

Kinda surprised this hasn't been asked, maybe its already been answered elsewhere.
Why do you do it? Do you karma farm just for fun?
Well, I don't really do it anymore, but yea it's basically like a video game, find the right content that hasn't been posted and see if people of subreddit X like it enough to upvote it.
Except today, when you posted MRW gif with exact title...
How did you come up with your name?
Also, how do You feel about the fact that fellow Reddittors have used ~182 hours and 30 minutes of their lives clicking 'Upvote' on Your comments and posts?
It's a saying for Syracuse basketball, which I'm sure huge fan of.
That seems like a lot of time.
Do you get to the Dome for games often?
Yea, I have season basketball tickets
...You're not Towlie guy, are you? The dude that sits behind the basket near section 114 and tosses a dirty orange towel around during free-throws? I hate that guy.
Ok, carry on
2 more replies
How did you work that timing out?
I wondered that for a second too, 1upvote = 1 second, 11.5mil karma = roughly 182hours
What all is involved with being a mod? Do you get to see who trolls/ruins subs?
Mods remove/approve posts & comments, answer modmail, change the CSS as needed, change the rules as needed, and inform the sub of the happenings of the subreddit, good or bad.
I guess mods do since they're supposed to remove rule breaking comments and posts.
Do mods get any payment?
No, no mods get any payment, or aren't supposed too.
BUT there was a mod a long time ago who had it on linkedin or something that she could "help push your post" it was /u/saydrah I think. IIRC she had that they modded a subreddit (/r/aww I think?) and could "help push your post to the front page" She got outsted and removed from the mod team once it was learned. She deleted her profile, and this all happened like 9~ years ago.
AFAIK nothing like that has came up since. I wouldn't be shocked if it came out that a mod has taken payments for w.e actions though.
What life like with all that karma
same as it was before
Name your best Reddit April fools idea
A stock market for karma, you could buy shares in different users and or subreddits.
Love it! Paging u/sodypop, this is brilliant!
Do you get paid for your influence on Reddit?
Nah, honestly having a job in some similar field would make it feel like I was being disingenuous to everyone, which I don't want.
Tits or ass?
Hardest question so far. I honestly don't know, just happy my gf has both.
Did you just get bored of Reddit?
Yea, there are times when I only go to a few subreddits, mostly the ones I mod since a few of them are video games.
The thing I do most on Reddit is lurk. I think that's why posting stuff is so easy, I have a pretty good understanding of what Reddit likes since I eat so much of it.
How do you have time to mod all these big subreddits? Do you have a day job?
Yea, I work full time. Modding doesn't require as much work as you'd think. A lot is done by autmod. (removes most spam, slurs, etc) Then there's the other mods on each subreddit, we all aren't always looking, but for the most part one of us is.
Okay, also could you explain to me how the upvoting and stuff work?
I don't know what you mean by "upvoting and stuff" could you clarify?
Just like, the voting system. What happens when I click the arrow up or if I click the arrow down.
Well, at the most basic thing, you're just adding another vote to the pile or removing one.
On some other levels, depending on what you have in preferences, if you vote on something it can "hide" the post so you don't see it again unless you go into your profile and look at the posts you've hidden.
On an even deeper level, depending on when you upvote/downvote your vote counts for more. For example, if you upvote a post within the first 10 minutes of a post it counts more than if you did it an hour after it was posted, and that counts more than if you voted after 5 hours, etc.
As for how upvotes=profile listed karma, that isn't anything that i've seen anyone break down.
What's your girlfriend like?
She's the best
i know i'm 36 days late, but your answer to that question is really cute
If your mom and girlfriend switched bodies and you had to have sex with one of them, which one would you choose?
Since when are you a moderator in r/sports
Since over 2 years ago.
Since when u do bleed orange
Do you go to the games?
I have season basketball tickets
How about the football and basketball games?
I just have season basketball tickets
Do other redditors ever see you?
No, I don't broadcast who I am or anything.
You should go to the football and basketball games when season starts, we might see each other!
I'll be at the basketball games, football is meh, just not a fan with how bad they've been.
oh im retarded, I thought you said season baseball tickets. I was like... "Baseball ._. ok..."
Why did r/sports ban anyone who posted about AFL (Australian Football League)?
The mods of r/sports aren't very popular on r/AFL.
It's the 4th highest attended domestic prefessional league in the world.
Edit: An image of the conversation that occurred between two of the mods at the time highlighting the overeaction and power tripping.
Multiple users from AFL doxxed some mods and refused to follow the rules. We did try to let a post through on good faith, but nothing good came of it.
What did you do after "Listen here fucko"
I don't remember this, and I missed seeing it here. sorry
What do you do for a living?
I'm in sales
Are you u/ibleedcarrots
No, he's a POS.
lol. Do you know why he’s banned?
I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess I'd say vote cheating.
Maybe. So what do you have against him?
The fact that he had no regards to and rules of any subreddit, reposted on purpose (mostly things I posted), and I believe he vote cheated.
Just makes my life more annoying because people associate his shitty behavior with me. If you know him you can tell him he's a liar and a cheat.
I don't know who you are, but apparently I upvoted you 8 times. dos you post in the dotka 2 forumS?
I do not, odds are you just saw some stuff I posted that made it to the front page and upvoted it.
Any updates to this r/tinder post?
Yea, I found it, so it's probably fake.
What mmr do you have
in what game?
I haven't played ladder in a long time. I was masters all through out WoL, hots and the beggining of lotv. You can look at my profile if you want, ibleedorange#1842. I'm probably somewhere in diamond now from what I've seen from streamers.
Do you have any alts?
nope, too lazy to make other accounts and remember the info.
Come m8 you don't have to tell Us the name but everyone on reddit has a porn dedicated account.
You and gallowboob are like the bread and butter of Reddit to me, who are some of your favorite redditors?
Hmm. I don't think I have any besides the friends I have on here.
A lot, and it's really easy to mod, if it was just one fan base shouting then it would be boring.
What subs are u a mod of?
quite a few. just look on the right side of my profile page.
Here's a few:
Why do you lock threads? Nobody cares if there are some uncivil comments
Because the rules have to be kept in check. And lots of people care. If they didn't care then I wouldn't see 10 replies in 2 minutes to a troll bait comment.
It's like the waiting for something. Everyone wants to get what they want as fast as they want, but they don't want everyone else to be on their playing field.
Why have rules about civility?
To try and make discussions better. If you present idea X and I reply just calling you a name, instead of actually talking about the idea then the thread is just going to become name calling. That's just one example of why using slurs and trolling can derail a thread.
One thing that I wish could be implemented is the culling of "pun threads" Just like how it would be annoying if everyone was calling eachother names, it's annoying when every top reply is a joke, or when every top reply is talking about the misspelling in the post title. Derailing threads sucks.
Hello :) how is your days going?
That’s good to hear. Oh is that you in the cosplay?
Oh, I didn’t see any credits so I assumed. What subreddits do you mod?
There's a list on my profile, and I think I put some of them in an answer to a question on here
Hmm interesting account.
how often do you see these kinds of accounts?
I've never seen an account like that
Bit late to the party. What’s so special about the account? Don’t seem to be able to access it anymore
It just comments + on subreddits
What are the worst posts you've had to remove?
The "call this number" posts. They're not gross looks the gore or pedo posts, but they make me sad because that can really damage a person.
What are "call this number" posts?
self posts where people say "call this phone number and say w.e). Imagine having thousands of people call you and say terrible things.
is that allowed on reddit even ??
no, that's why they get removed and you don't see them.
Where do you usually find your top posts from?
Twitter, youtube, facebook and imgur.
How was your day today? (not time sensitive to question date obviously)
It was a good day, not a bad day at work, got to hang out with some buddies. Can't complain.
Sounds like one of those days to cherish to me. Have a nice one guy!
What's it like being the mod of so many Sub-Reddits?
I've never really considered it a lot, but I enjoy keeping the subreddit rules in check and helping others. I don't enjoy the crazy PM's, but that's okay.
FMK subs edition: Jokes, Hearthstone, Starcraft
F: hearthstone M: StarCraft K: jokes
I knew I liked you for a reason <3
How did you do it?
I posted a lot of stuff. I went like 2 years where I had at least one post get 1000 upvotes every day (this was before the "inflation" of votes on posts too).
Did you find the majority of the content that you posted?
how and where did you find so much and how did you know if it would be successful?
I would check periodically through out the day, 15 minutes here, another 30 there, etc. I used imgur, youtube, facebook, instagram, and some other smaller ones that I don't even remember. I knew they'd be successful because I would post to subs that I viewed and knew what content they liked because I had been on reddit long enough to figure it out.
Have you ever been offered money to promote/delete content? Seems to me some high-karma users (/u/GallowBoob comes to mind) are posting some very suspicious stuff. Also, when you Reddit that much it almost has to be your job?
Yea, people ask that from time to time. I always say no, I don't post stuff to make money. There's been stuff that I've posted that I'm sure looks like advertising, but I don't have some magic button to get to the front page so if anything I post makes it there then it's just because people wanted to upvote it.
I spent 30minutes posting stuff last night, it doesn't take much time when you know what you're doing.
Why do you post so much shit?
Just don't be an ass about it and I'll answer honestly.
stuff,,,, why do you post so much stuff
Thank you, because I enjoy it.
but why is so much of your stuff, shit. I mean, Yoga wine..... why bother. Trials I get, but white girl with white wine..... why bother?
Because I found it funny, I guess a few other people did too. Have you browsed the new queue of the large subreddits like pics or gifs? That's where the actual shit is. Pics is for all pictures, not just some super high brow content, it's for all types of pics.
Sorry, I don't look at those subs that much. Thanks for answering my question.
What part of Syracuse do you live around? I'm around the Liverpool area.
The city, but I used to live in Liverpool.
How do you do it
In addition, how does one gain their first mod position
And I got mine by taking over a subreddit with no mods. After that i just started applying to places I enjoyed visiting. Now a days I think the best way is to keep an eye out on subreddits you actively participate in, and apply when they put up applications for mods.
Have you always lived in Syracuse? I’ve lived in Syracuse my whole life and it gives ,e joy to know a fellow Syracusian (?] is a mod for most of my favorite subreddits. I guess it’s just weird to think of but very cool to know.
eh, sometimes, but yeah a lot of the same stuff is posted.
Your username says you bleed orange, does that mean you attended University Of Texas?
Nope, it's for Syracuse
Oh ok I’ve just heard UT using that slogan “bleed orange” too
yep, people think it's from all sorts of different places. no worries.
What’s your favorite subreddit?
Here's a sneak peek of /r/AskScienceFiction using the top posts of the year!
#1: [Star Wars] It is said that Anakin had the potential to be twice as strong in the Force as Palpatine, and that Vader had 80% of Palpatine’s force potential. How strong are other characters in the force, measured in units of Palpatines?#2: [Star Wars] Darth Vader just killed my Admiral and promoted me in his place. Will there be an announcement to the crew? Does Vader fill out the paperwork, or do I need to go to HR? When do I get my new rank rectangles (ranktangles)? He seemed pretty busy and I didn't want to bug him with logistics.#3: [dogs] WHERE DOES THE HUMAN GO ALL DAY
I'm a bot, beep boop | Downvote to remove | Contact ^^me | ^^Info | ^^Opt-out
How do you feel about all the Karma?
.....do you have any tattoos??
Never really thought about it, I can't think of anything I'd want to tattoo on me forever, and I don't have the $ to get anything good.
What types of games do you like to play?
What game is your favorite/that will always have a place in your heart?
I used to play a lot more games back when I was younger, but right now it's mainly blizzard games with a few random ones off steam.
And it's a toss up between starcraft 1 and diablo 1. Both of those are why I still play games today.
Your username. Tennesseean I reckon?
The I bleed orange is just a popular slogan the University of Tennessee uses because it’s our color.
Yea, it's popular for quite a few universities.
I ate an orange, and no
Do you really bleed orange?
Only on the weekends
Why did you not credit the person who posted this? http://goedhartvoordieren.nl/?page=r/DC_Cinematic/comments/8mip6d/humor_i_guess_the_superman_method_of_disguise/?utm_source=reddit-android
Your post: http://goedhartvoordieren.nl/?page=r/pics/comments/8mm2ye/seeing_zooey_deschanel_without_bangs_and_glasses/?utm_source=reddit-android
Edit: linked your post
Because I had no idea it was posted there
I stumbled across your post on YEYVIDEOGAMES. How long did you spend doing it? How much did it creep you out?
Lol I don't even remember writing that. Looking back at it, it's weird but I've seen weirder since then.
I'm curious as to your user name, do you bleed orange because you're an alien or work at Home Depot?
Why power mod abuser like Gallowboob wasn't perma banned yet? there's a lot of shitty stuff he did in his reddit career that in normal circumstances an average user would be banned a lot of times for what he did. Even mods are "scared?" of him and rule in his favor even though normal mods have no business to appeal him.
He was perma banned once, his first account. He's been banned once(? maybe twice, not sure) on his current one, and what he went through was probably more strict than what a normal user would go through imo.
I'm not sure what you're referring too with what "he's done", if you wan to elaborate I might be able to help explain things. I don't think any mods are afraid of him, many of them dislike him and have banned him from their subreddits.
He was banned on his main but unbanned after a week
I'm not sure what you're referring too with what "he's done"
And literally hundred's of more stuff, basically using his mod position to avoid the strict rules.
He's not the first or will he be the last to do any of the things you linked (if he did them, I'm too lazy too read and see if it's just gboob hate or not) and while I'm not a fan of people who abuse mod powers or w.e none of them break Reddit wide rules.
Why do you bleed orange
It seems like you’ve been on reddit for a while. When did you start seriously posting a lot, and making effort to source all that content?
I started 4~ years ago with some breaks, here's a site that tracks it all. http://www.karmalb.com/user/iBleeedorange
Do you make any money for you activity on Reddit either from moderating or from owning/creating large subs?
nope, never have, never will.
Thanks - I only ask because I was reading community rules and read about quarantined subs (https://www.reddithelp.com/en/categories/reddit-101/rules-reporting/account-and-community-restrictions/quarantined-subreddits) and the mention of "will generate no revenue" made me wonder if creators of big communities received a portion of the ad revenue generated by the community.
There was a sub that just got banned a few months ago one of those "I need it" subreddits because the top mod was making money from it IIRC.
I don't know anyone of anyone who makes money from their posts/subreddits, but I wouldn't be shocked if a small amount of them were.
Imgur, Gyfcat, i.reddit, or v.reddit. Which do you prefer?
I prefer imgur, easiest to upload too. 2nd is gyfcat because it allows longer gifs easier. Reddit's ireddt/vreddit is OK, but it's annoying that if I make a post with it and delete that post it deletes every other post.
Also would like to know if you ever got raped in the Reddit Gold Lounge
I rarely go there, so no.
Happy cake day
GO ORANGE! Class of ‘18 right here!!! Are you an alum?
Nah, just a local.
I just clicked it after i saw your sock post.
How many hours do you spend on reddit a day?
Depends on the day, anywhere between 30 minutes and maybe 3 hours? I usually stay in 15 minute intervals.
Where do you find all the content that you post?
I answered that in another comment, I think I did the first one too now that I think about it.
What’s your favorite single player game?
Hmm. I haven't played a pure single player game in a long time. I guess maybe Pokemon red/blue or maybe roller coaster tycoon.
I really enjoy Warcraft 3/the Frozen throne's campaign though, it's my favorite single player campaign thing.
