Warning kids.... Stop Loss + flash-crash is a great way to lose your position.

I agree that it adds some peace of mind, but the crypto-market boards are replete with people out for blood that the stop-loss executed on a 10 ms price dip.

Currently only stop loss and take profit limits are enabled, not market. This should limit the swings and ability to really lose your position in flash events.

Ahh great work guys but one problem, how do we set both profit and stop limits at the same time? At the moment if I try to sell 1 ETH and use stop-limit to exit me out if the price drops too low, I can't then place another order to sell at my ideal profit level because it says I have no available amount left. I thought the idea of a stop loss was to apply to an existing order and not to be an order by itself?

So unfortunately for me, the end result is I still need to watch Binance 24/7 until my crypto is sold. Before I had to watch it so I could manually exit out if it went too low. And now I still have to watch it so I can manually exit out if it goes high enough to sell at a profit.

While this is a great step forward, could you please make this more like BitFinex where you can have a profit limit and stop loss limit and when one gets hit it cancels the other? Or maybe that's already possible and I'm just doing something wrong? Thanks.

Yes, at the moment you will run into that scenario as you described. If you want to have both the profit and stops set, you won't be able to have both cover 100% of your position.

In the future a new order type will be enabled that will allow you do this but there isn't an ETA on this at the moment.

We have a plan to address this and it is in development. We do not have an ETA at this time but it is high on our TODO list.

It's pretty simple from a game theory point of view. In this situation you have nothing to lose and something to gain by constantly complaining so why not? There's no consequence to their actions, at least not from us.

If I put a big red button on a wall and said: "you can push this button all you want; there's a 1 in 1 trillion chance you'll get some money after a push" there would be people sitting there pushing it all day.

Overall though, I don't think our community is that toxic. Many of the users are reasonable, fair, patient, and nice to interact with.

To be clear: there is no theft. You can withdraw the full precision on any coin, given that the amount is over the minimum withdrawal amount.

We're working on a system that will allow you sweep up dust. I do not have an ETA on when it will be ready. Trading rules might be changed to allow more trading precision on certain coins in the future.

It seems that the order is still there (the current price is above the order price). So luckily my money is still in WTC. Support also checked and said there is no issue and no sellorder. Is there anything Binance can do to reset my open orders? Having a bugged sellorder that will be stuck (maybe forever?) is not something I would like to have :).

Are you in the slack chat? If so ping me (@jjh) and I can sort this out.

/u/Bobermo have you sorted this out?

So if I'm understanding correctly -

Using BNB while exchanging is basically a must have to get an automatic 50% off. This in turn, will drive demand for BNB up, thus increasing the cost.

But the cost factor then of BNB itself is irrelevant, is that correct? Meaning if BNB was $3, or $10, you would still be getting the same amount of calculated money discounted?

Yes, that's correct. Let's continue the example above:

If the exchange rate is roughly 150 BNB = 1 BTC, the fee would then be 0.075 BNB. If you have 0.075 or more BNB in your account, that’s the fee you pay. Otherwise you pay 0.001 BTC.

If the exchange rate was 300 BNB = 1 BTC (0.0034 BTC per BNB), then you would pay 0.15 BNB or 0.001 BTC.

If the exchange rate was 50 BNB = 1 BTC (0.02 BTC per BNB), then you would pay 0.025 BNB or 0.001 BTC.

I can answer some of these questions:

Do exchange planning listing GAS ?

Yes we do plan on listing GAS. I am not sure the exact pairs at this time, but you will be able to buy GAS with multiple cyrptocurrencies. Remember that fees can be paid with GAS or other cryptocurrencies, so even without GAS you will still be able to use the exchange.

I saw there will be listing fee for exchange ? How much would it cost ?

The only fees that are finalized are the trade fees that are listed in the whitepaper. The other fees listed we might potentially charge in the future. Before the trading go live we will have a clear breakdown of all fees.

No issues, but I'd like to make a few suggestions for the site.

  • Give lots of feedback for every action, use modals to notify what's happening
  • Translate the important things to English if you want to be international
  • Improve the site's stability for loading. It seems the site hangs when data is slow to load, usually because something related to JavaScript is hogging the callstack
  • Make sure the cancel withdraw option works, or give feedback why it doesn't work
  • Remove the balance from the deposit/withdraw if funds is being withdrawn (this caused some confusion for me)

Thank you for the suggestions! We'll look in to integrating these in to our platform.

Hello everyone! Thank you for your interest in Binance, and thank you to /u/EliteSGlele for the effort on the English translation.

We'll be holding an English AMA in a few hours and can help answer any questions you have about Binance. We hope to see you there! http://goedhartvoordieren.nl/?page=r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/6jz4ho/binancecom_ico_ama/

Unfortunately with a mandarin (or other "sign language") captcha in the registration process it's tough to register, no matter how good the English translations are :-}
